Interesting development that I don't recall noticing in Win7 or Win10. Win11 is reporting my CPU boosting to a whopping 4.33 Ghz! I didn't realize that was the boost clock for this chipset as it reports as 3.50 Ghz under basically Any other circumstance. Now to see if running it on raw "unsupported" hardware is any different than the Win7 branch of this build. It broke my gadgets though, so I'm not happy about that as I now have to rely on task manager for data (not as detailed).

It's been a minute, but I Did manage to now test Win11 running on my 3770k (as opposed to the VM test above) with no obvious issues so far. Roamed around Atlas a bit and my GTX 970 with pretty high settings was in the 30s for FPS. It killed my old Windows gadgets though, so I'll have to see if I can reinstall them as I Like being able to see my detailed hardware performance stats at a glance. I do hate that I can't move the taskbar to the top though.

I'm getting Really tempted to just wipe my Win10 drive and install Win11 on it to run these on the i7 bare hardware as most of the remaining errors are occurring on it (not the iMini's Win11 VMs). So these times to give a hint that it's still running seem to have large gaps and that may be tricking me into thinking they're frozen. I've cued up the iMini for 8 instances and will just leave it running I guess as this doesn't seem to impact my W@H bandwidth. I'll cue up the i7 rig as well later, but the MBP may just need to stay off the project. I'm thinking it needs some new thermal pads or something as it'll hit 100C quite easily when running Windows in general where as the iMini hovers at 60C under this load.

I decided to switch to Win11 in the VMs exclusively as I feel like it's better handling memory and is more light weight in its current form, but my main PC still runs Win7. It's a shame this isn't as RAM/GPU intensive as the Win7 should give the M1 iMini a run for it's money performance wise even though it's a Gen3 i7.
