I miss the original Rikti designs. I think their faces looked much better. I wonder if it is possible to set up an old school COH server, that recreates the feel of classic early issues.

Question... Why does it matter now that COH is no longer a retail game? I doubt any kind of marvel or DC clone toons on an extremely niche fan-run online game would cause any legal issues lol.

Þe game felt a lot bigger when travel waſn’t ſo convenient. It took a bit more effort to get to where ȝou wanted to be. Some people uſed Paragon Dance Party as a travel hub, þoſe were þe good ol’ days, for ſure!  Can we bring back Recall Friend inſpirations from þe EARLY days ? Pretty ſure þoſe inſps were Mandela Effected out of exiſtence þo, becauſe nobody elſe ſeems to remembers þem except me…

I would like to ſee þe Cryptic Studios ſhirts worn by þe NPC’s in þe Cryptic Lounge in Faultline become uſable by players… Þat would be noſtalgic.

Here’s an idea, how about adding PDP to the Long-Range teleporter ? That would surely increase traffic at least by a tiny bit.

So it would by poſſible to include an extended character ſet in a future update...! But how many people would miſs þe original typeface? It would have to be an option to ſwitch back to þe original chat font.

It would be nice to make an option in-game to change þe chat font to any font on your PC. Noto Sans or Noto Sans Bold would be ideal options, containing juſt about any character you could poſſibly want. It would be intereſting at hiȝer ſcreen reſolutions to try a ſerif face like Garamond Premier Pro Caption or Elſtob.

I have a TurboGrafx-16 wiþ TurboBooſter & Turbo Everdrive, as well as a PC Engine (white model) wiþ Interface unit, CD-ROM2 Drive, & Super Syſtem card, & a CoreGrafx wiþ Terraonion Super HD Syſtem3 Pro.

It would be fun to make a medieval type character þat ſpoke wiþ Middle Engliſh-eſque orþography too. Þey ſhould alſo add þe letter Ȝ/ȝ (yogh)! 😁

Maybe a nitpick, I couldn't help but notice that most common European letters/diacritical marks look fine in COH chat except a few notable ones needed to write Icelandic: Þ/þ Ð/ð & Ý/ý. All of these characters look horribly out of place in the chat box. Also for German we have ß but it would be nice to also have ſ (long s) supported.

Þat seems like a perfectly respectable reason to quit a TF.

I heard a lot of property investors/landlords in Peregrine Island are losing a lot of money right now because of the devouring earth, circle of thorns, and rikti presence that has basically ruined the once-popular beaches and tourism there. meanwhile rent in Atlas Park is rising to astronomical levels, as it's far and away the safest part of town.. in other news, Paragon City is still completely devoid of children. I still think the El Super Mexicano in faultline has the best food in the city though.

Just for nostalgia's sake, I wish the devs would allow us to use the Cryptic Studios logo chest detail found only on the NPC's in the Cryptic Lounge in Faultline....

in COH canon, where is PDP actually located? is it in a separate dimension?

The reason why there is nobody in PDP is because "nobody goes to PDP" the public perceives PDP as being dead, so it is dead... if people would go there, there would be a reason to go there..

Paragon Dance Party is simply the best club in COH

when PDP came out even the office chairs had amazing graphics *^_^*. my perspective as a kid in 2004/2005 was a lot different, COH was one of the best looking games i'd seen or played at that point

actually I think Pocket D is a bit too heavy in serious roleplay. I would like PDP to be a more casual alternative, a place for people who don't use perfect punctuation when roleplaying lol. or worse, put their own speech in quotation marks. I for one, prefer to just talk normally, and act as if RL is part of the game. seamlessly transitioning between in character and OOC.... Get rid of the bums, put the posters back up, add a door to PDP in pocket D, add base portal, long range TP, done. there are tons of dummy doors in paragon dance party that could be replaced with a real door without changing the look of the zone whatsoever. DJ Zero should have more love for the ol' paragon dance party....
