  1. Currently, every 3rd Veteran level, you are awarded a new Badge and a handful of Empyrean merits. This cuts off at level 99. I can see cutting off the badges, since it's impossible to generate an infinite number of badge titles. I can also see that it might be a bit OP to keep getting merits, especially for farming characters. (debatable) What I don't agree with is cutting off rewards completely, it makes gaining new levels somewhat depressing, since they are meaningless. Suggestion: After level 99, add some kind of small reward every 3rd level, such as: an orange recipe, an enhancement booster, some kind of useful random temp power, a few orange pieces of salvage, etc. Doesn't have to be anything huge, just something to mark gaining those levels and make them feel a bit meaningful.
  2. I have no idea why a superhero MMO would police this any more stringently than any other MMO. For example: In Neverwinter, you see tons of Drizzt Do'Urdens, Bruenor Battlehammers, and many other fairly well known fantasy characters. I've never seen them taken down for violating copyright.

    Dark/Dark

I remember being in a couple Lambdas years ago where the dark defender was able to keep Marauder from jumping, it saved so much time on the overall TF not having to chase him to the four corners. From what I remember, you had to have massive amounts of recharge to stack whatever they were using to keep him in place.

    Bs/DA

I used to play one years ago, I thought it was a pretty decent combination. Unfortunately, I didn't save the build - I'd be interested as well if anyone has one to share.
  5. I'm currently working on my Fire/Rad controller. She plays "ok", but was wondering if anyone had any high performance builds that could take it to the next level? Purple sets are fine, if that's what It takes. Thanks.
  6. @Ringo I've tried your build, appears to work fairly well, however, I have a question. You chose some fairly low level damage procs in a couple of the powers. Why not procs from purple sets, which I assume would do more damage? Edit: Never mind, most of the procs I'm thinking off wont slot in those powers. :)
  7. I'd love to have 5th column added to the list of radio villain groups in PI, since they are supposed to be an opposing faction to the Council.
  8. Great farm! A few more ideas: The Penguin The Riddler The Spectre Golden Age Flash Dr. Fate Sandman ( Marvel ) Phantom Stranger Adam Strange The rest of the Fantastic Four
  9. I'd have to say most of the options apply, except for the morality one. I'd also have to add: I don't like having to play second fiddle to Lord Recluse or anyone else. The zones are all dark and depressing, and in general it brings my mood down after a while playing in red side. What they should have done is to have villains play in the exact same zones as heroes, and implement logic to prevent cross faction grouping. The Rogue Isles, or something else, should have been accessible to both sides.
  10. /signed I'd prefer it as it was, though. Storywise, they should have started rebuilding the zone. I always preferred this zone for my new characters vs AP anyway.
  11. Currently, while playing my AR/Fire blaster, I have two targeted area effect powers that I like to use: 1. M30 Grenade 2. Ignite M30 is targeted by selecting an enemy and clicking. Ignite is ground targeted. The problem, for me at least, with ground targeting is as follows: 1. It's slow and disrupts the flow of combat. 2. It's clunky. Half the time I target the ground and click, nothing happens. 3. Its not very accurate. Many times I end up targeting a bad spot and I don't get the full benefit of an AE power. Someone in game suggested creating a hotkey or macro using the powexec_location command. It works, but presents me with the issue of either remembering a hotkey ( which I'd prefer not to do ) or creating a macro which takes up a spot on my power bar. ( and doesn't disable when the power isn't available ) Suggestion: Provide an in-game setting that makes all ground targeted powers behave just like targeted AE powers.
  12. I'd love an answer to this as well.

    Dark/Dark

I had a Dark/Dark defender years ago, that I intended to be a lockdown type character for trials like BAF ( where you could supposedly stop Marauder from leaping if you had enough recharge), and also where you needed to stop the escapees at the doors. Never had the chance to fully load him out before the game was shut down though. If I wanted to recreate the character would you recommend still going defender, or are other archtypes like controller better?
  14. I'm currently running this build from years ago, but wondering if anyone has anything better that might push the boundaries on DPS and survivability? Thanks. 15. Good, I was a bit worried that I was doing something wrong. :)
  16. When people say they finish the map in 5-6 mins, do they mean all 5 rounds of the mission arc, or just one round? It's taking me about 6 minutes using my SS/Fire brute for each round, and cant conceive how anyone is blowing through it in just a minute.
  17. Where does one get 1.962 of the designer. Is that Pine's version? I can't fully load some of these builds in my version of Mids.
