  1. Maybe because only Sith deal in absolutes. And when you're an Immovable Object, you're about as absolute as it gets. Plus, I like making statements like this. Because, while the basic sentiment isn't "Wrong", I in no way say that it's always right either. I could use words like "crutch" instead. But I find talk about "failure" tends to grab people's attention better. And the adversarial manner of doing so pushes people to always keep looking for options. Doing so has allowed me to see some of the absolute SICKEST builds imaginable. Plus, I'm a brightly burning troll at heart. VIrtual looks of "WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?" just warm the cockles of my heart. Maybe below the cockles, maybe in the sub-cockle area. Maybe in the liver. Maybe in the kidneys. Maybe even in the colon, I just don't know. Translation: 99.9% of the stuff that comes out of my mouth (or off my keyboard) is intended to be funny on one or more levels. The remaining 0.1% is just straight BS. The fun part is trying to figure out the actual admixture...
  2. Try turning off buff sending, both for you and your pets. MENU --> OPTIONS Windows Tab Status Window Buff Display Stop Sending All Buffs: Enabled Group Window Buff Display Stop Sending All Buffs: Enabled Pet Window Buff Display Stop Sending All Buffs: Enabled Also, it isn"t "double resolution". It's the Windows Screen Magnification. You may need to turn screen mag off, then turn Windows Resolution down so your native res matches your in-game Res.
  3. Brownian Cessation Ice/Ice/Ice (Baby!) He DOES have CE. And it really doesn't do much for him. Mainly because he's built speed TFs. And don't worry, I don't have a need to team with you. So go ahead and block my Global. It'll save me the condescension.
  4. Let's just say there's something DEEPLY cathartic (and very Zen) about slowly sanding away at your opponent's HP.
  5. How did you never try them before? Because they were locked behind Red-Side for most of the game's existence. And Red Side is enough to make you go down the road and not across the tracks... Also, the fact that ATOs and Winter-Os have VASTLY improved the general performance profile of Stalkers.
  6. You're running a tablet. This means you're running a low-voltage CPU that may also be down-clocked to manage thermal output as well. On top of that, you're basically using the on-chip video solution as well. Again, down-clocked for thermal reasons. For general desktop functionality? Perfectly fine. Because 2D and playing movies is not taxing a system much. Also, how much memory are you running, and how large is the SSD. Remember, the Pro7's lowest configuration is 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD (both of which are also given thermal specs to operate within). CAN you play the game? Yeah.... Can you play it in "Sleek & Sexy" mode without crashing into the unit's thermal protections? Doubtful.
  7. Higher base HP. Higher Resist numbers (not GREAT, but not totally sucktastic). So, in general, more survivable. Damage-wise, you'll be like Happy Hogan in the Black Widow hallway fight in Iron Man 2. Where a Scrapper will be Black Widow...
  8. HEY! I AM A TANK! AND YOU WILL RESPECT MY AGGRO! Besides, I get hit in the head...A LOT... Plus, S & R are right next to one another on that alphabet thingee. And I'm normally more used to dealing with Super Strength than Super Reflexes. SO NYAH!
  9. But 100% true. For a Resist-Centric Tank. Maybe. But that's NOT what we're talking about here. For a Defense-based tank, not really. Hover and CJ deliver the same Defense at a fraction of the cost. Stealth, antithetical as it is to Tanking, delivers superior concealed Defense and identical unconcealed Defense at a lower cost. And yes, it helps teammates in a team environment. My primary concern is building the toughest possible tank, either solo OR teamed. Read it. And yes, for high levels, it's mostly true. For deep exemping, not always the case.
  10. If you are a Defense-oriented tank and you're taking Maneuvers, you've failed. End of story.
  11. Honestly, I know that CE slows down incoming attacks. However, at those Defense levels, I'm not terribly worried.
  12. Quick stab... Goes against some of what Hjarki says (and I agree with some of it). Just, was a last slot and nothing else really appealing in there.
  13. My signature pretty much reflects my thoughts on the subject.
  14. Uhm. Telling someone what to do on the internet...
  15. Yes, but you used the word "she". The Big Red Cheese identifies as male and his preferred pronouns are he/him/his...
  16. It might be that those nulls point to LIVE players (and their toons) that simply don't exist on HC.
  17. SHAZAM! And thus. The Big Red Cheese.
  18. No, Captain Marvel. The original one. Now going by the name Shazam.
  19. I fiddled around and really didn't do much better. Slightly more balanced Defense. Slightly shuffled Resist numbers, lower Regen, lower Recharge. You can boost your Resists a bit with Cardiac or Resilient. You can boost your Defense a bit with Agility.
  20. I tried to get into Lost. But the whole "lick and promise" non-exposition made me hate the living *BLEEP!* out of it. It's part of what drove me away from Heroes later on. All plot, no resolution.
  21. I didn't care for B5 when it first came out. I just...didn't speak to me. On later viewings, and the ability to stream whole seasons, it was a MUCH more enjoyable series, and I see what drew people to it.
