Hmm... from a practical perspective, it seems that just checking if the leader has you on ignore or visa-versa, (and generating some sort of pop-up warning), is the best way to go, as others have pointed out.

A DP/Willpower Sentinel seems kind of fitting. You could dip into fighting as well, if you like...

Sonic/Pain corruptor, obviously.

Fake news! Everybody knows said sirens, in fact, go "wee-ooh wee-ooh wee-ooh".

This is "The Rambunctious Racoon", an Archery/Willpower/Ninja Sentinel. I like her current costume, but I'm looking for something that's a bit "wilder". The only real requirements are the rocket boots, back quarrel, and she must look racoon-like. Thanks for your consideration! rambunctious racoonG.costume

Would you want some other effect instead, or just no effect at all?

Can you clarify what you are asking for in your OP.

The important question is how are your powers slotted. Believe it or not, but your T1 ST immobilize can do decent damage if slotted for it. Also, some pool powers can provide a bit of a direct punch if you are lacking that. The secondary you have, and whether it has any +dmg or -res can also make a big difference...
-
Are you asking for taunt powers to deal damage? IIRC, there is at least 1 taunt IO that does this...

Perhaps it's my age or whatnot, but I grew up in an era when you didn't talk about your race/ethnicity/gender/sexual orientation or other such factors online. It's also why I loathe voice chat. I want to interact with others on a footing that is absent of any preconceived notions, expectations, or stereotypes - let each person's skill, knowledge, and behavior speak for itself!

I think a lot depends upon the level range in which you plan on doing most of your teaming; Post-35, there's the fire and elec APPs that have heals, and later on, the barrier destiny can rez allies. I admire your desire to support your team, but I would also ask you consider if other power picks or a change in tactics might save your teammates from needing to be yanked out and rezzed. For instance, both the dark and soul mastery APP/PPPs have darkest night, which can greatly reduce an enemy's ability to hit, and even if they do, they'll deal less damage. Those 2 can make needing to tp and rez unnecessary. Another approach, since you have pretty solid armor as a Sentinel, is to draw some fire away from your squishier teammates - "putting your mask on first", so to speak...

Is it at all possible for someone to play a panda character which isn't an allusion to any race or ethnic group? If so, how do you "know" that isn't the case?
-
Did you report and block? If so, your "duty" has been fulfilled. To beat a dead horse. See above. But you've used it more as an apparent fainting couch "won't somebody think of the children" outlet for yourself. Maybe to signal your virtue. I don't know, but you've been told multiple times what the remedy is. More pearl-clutching. It's been dealt with.
-
If you've done the proper steps of reporting and blocking these offenders, then drop it. You are making accusations you cannot prove. Do you understand how damaging YOU are being by throwing around such accusations? The more you speak on this topic, the more I think you are cry-bullying people...

It is still possible for someone to cry wolf, even if somewhere, sometime, there actually is/was a wolf.

I really like radiation armor. I keep going back to rad blast, and keep being disappointed. To be frank, I don't really see the draw of trying to use aid other/resuscitate in place of simply playing a character with a full support power set. I've taken the fire or elec APP on sentinels to provide a bit of pinch-healing, and even taken the version of the barrier Incarnate that revives fallen allies, but those 2 powers from medicine are just "meh" to try and fulfill that role. Is it just a general desire to be self-sufficient while also being able to provide some team support that you find desirable? Is it that you don't want to be saddled with an entire support set? I'm not knocking your choice of AT - I love Sentinels, just wondering...

Shoulder cape costume piece recommendation
biostem replied to Zenith Mech Man's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
You can sort of pull this off via the "high collar" option. The issue, AFAIK, with a "shoulder cape" is that you'd need a fixed/rigid mantle piece, as it'd clip horribly if the piece over your shoulders was permitted to move and flow. Still, it would be neat if they could adapt the high collar shoulder section, just without the actual collar itself... -
Good for me as well.

If you use Ouroboros to knock yourself down to the appropriate level for a zone, can you grab radios from there or interact with other contacts, or will you get the typical "You're too busy atm" type of response?
-
No, you attribute things to people with no proof and clutch pearls tighter than the clam that made them. You've been advised of what the proper actions to take are, and that politics or the like are not be discussed on these forums.

Report them and move on. This is the internet and there will be a-holes, edgelords, and actual bigots. I'm not excusing them, but you have to get a thicker skin - use the tools available to report them via the proper channels, block them, and don't let them get to you. Don't acknowledge or respond to such people, as that's likely what they want.

TBH, taking medicine has never been about optimizing performance or choosing the "best" possible build, for me. It's about convenience and general self sufficiency. Sure, I could store a bunch of greens in emails or slot IO set bonuses to maximize healing/regen, or I could find a way to fit in the 2 power picks and just click aid self as needed...
-
I've taken medicine before. It's not bad per se, and it does heal for a good amount. That being said, there are a few caveats: 1. You have to train yourself not to move to even press any other powers when you go to use aid self. Even slotting an interrupt reduction enhancement only decreases a portion of the animation time, but still, it can literally save your life. 2. Certain damage sources, (usually area patch DoT effects), are auto-hit, and will truly become the bane of your existence. You'll become very aware of these, anyway, as you're SR... 3. Though not a great debuff any any measure, injection can be taken as one of the prerequisites to aid self, and it offers a slight -tohit, -rech, -dmg effect, which can give you that slight edge in surviving an encounter. 4. You have to pay the end cost even if you get interrupted. 5. If you plan on taking any ranged attacks, (from your APP/PPP or somewhere else), the Entropic Chaos special gives a ranged attack a chance of healing yourself and goes off rougly 3x/min...

I have a lot of experience with dark blast and both a dark armor and rad armor sentinel at 50. I really like dark blast, and find it to be extremely versatile. The only thing I don't like about it is that I frequently find myself skipping the use of autumnal beam whilst in combat due to its longer animation, favoring to instead use it as an opener. Also, even if 3-slotted for heal, life drain heals for a pittance; It's best either used to top off your health, or skip slotting it for health altogether and just use it as a regular attack. Onto the armors; Outside of its more specialized resistances and fear/disorient toggles, I find it to be rather end hungry and not as fun to play. It's not necessarily bad, just requires you to be more attentive to what you're fighting and keeping an eye on dark sustenance's timer to top you back off as needed. Rad armor, OTOH, is basically a "set it and forget it" kind of set. The only adjustment I tend to make with that set is to slot particle shielding for recharge and put it on autofire, (it's not too difficult to make it permanent and the extra +rec is great). Dark armor does have the stealth power, which can be handy, and gives you a LotG mule without needing an extra power pool pick. If you want to try something that I've had great success with, try dark blast and super reflexes - the SR that sentinels get has some really nice differences from the melee AT versions, as it grants extra recovery and you can opt to take an absorb shield. The -tohit and bit of healing from dark blast mesh nicely with all that defense from SR!

So, I get that the arrows are basically "baked" into the animations for the various archery powers. To that end, what I'd love to see is an alternative option that basically replaces the arrow models with a version that is a darker grey or even black/dark brown, and perhaps a tan, blue, or some other darker color for the fletching. I get that these aren't particle effects that can easily be tinted, but I think this would provide a great option for those of us playing darker-themed characters or ones who may not be using metallic arrows. Thanks for reading!
