Maybe just have a sort of "Read more" option, or just expand the mission window, to include the actual mission objectives before you're in the mission...

The problem with CO, and we're seeing this in Fallout 76 as well, is that after they've made the initial investment into the main world/zones, everything after basically boils down to instanced content; They don't want to make significant changes to the main world space, and there's this almost pathological hatred of revamping the old content to update old enemies as new powersets or mechanics are released. Everything has either been lockboxes or alerts, (small per-team instanced events that use sections of existing maps). They tried what is essentially their version of taskforces, but those petered out early in the game's life.

TBH, I don't think that is enough. I think you need the absorb like sentinels get and permanent extra HP to increase the threshold before you are defeated. Further, maybe you need something like a potent self heal that automatically kicks in when you get low in health.
-
For melee ATs, yeah - if incoming damage > regen rate, you lose, otherwise you win. That being said, it does benefit greatly from stacking other forms of mitigation, but that's still of little comfort given that requires investing multiple power picks or spending lots of inf on set bonuses...
-
I hear ya. If it's any consolation, the sentinel version of regen is actually pretty good.
-
Have you tried... not being /regen? 🤔

Clicking an ally's name in chat should target them.

Why are you having to squint? You can adjust your interface scale if that's an issue. Heck, I'm pretty sure you can resize the team window itself if you unclick the little blue button/pip. -
While they may appear to be fiery, they actually deal toxic damage and are described as "hellfire" and causing corruption, so it could work as part of a toxic assault assault set...

The henchmen need, for lack of a better term, their reaction speed increased with regards to how and when they follow, or the distance before they start following reduced. If you summon your minions then start moving, they won't follow until you've moved beyond a certain distance. They need to move WITH you, in lock step, not after you've moved a good distance away.
-
When you say "well known fact", could you elaborate upon what you mean? I believe others have checked and the animation times are roughly on par with other sets, and they just feel longer...
-
The problem, IMHO, isn't how fast or slow pets are, it's that they kind of lag behind in terms of when and how they follow the MM; They need a "hard leash" where they get dragged along as the MM moves. In short, MMs need a "follow distance" command, where they can force their minions to stay within 10', 20', etc, regardless of anything else.

Since the bonuses cap at 5 of the same type, what if, instead of giving teleport some defense to slot LotG, they added a teleport IO set that included a similar bonus with the exact same values, so you could get the bonus, they wouldn't need to muck about with the power, and you'd still be capped to 5 of the global recharge bonuses since they'd have identical buffs.

Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see the whip or bird attacks proliferated to other ATs, but I think that's a discussion for another thread...
-
My initial intent was to have them made into the APPs for this proposed AT.
-
Hmmm... I'm not sure about electric armor, especially since the protector bots use force fields, which seem closer to energy aura.
-
Can you clarify what website/source you are referencing, and is it stating that all the powers in the list you posted are possessed by every Power Ranger, or simply that they have been demonstrated at least once by certain Power Rangers?
-
Well, the transformation does grant the person a degree of increased durability, but it seems to me that it is their will to fight that truly empowers them, so maybe willpower for the secondary.

My concern is this general trend to try and villainize the light side and humanize dark side users. I mean, the dark side literally deteriorates your body and is driven by rage, hatred, and anger. The Jedi order definitely isn't all lily-white, (especially with them basically abducting children), but they're still generally "good". I'd rather see unaffiliated force users expanded upon and explored more. With all the millions of planets and trillions of sentient beings in the Star Wars universe, let's see how other cultures fostered and utilized force users...

Some things "I" think would be cool additions

Maybe some sort of "Hokage" would be a better T3 henchman for Ninja? -
Mini mode for lobster and squid form for Kheldians
biostem replied to Laucianna's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It depends upon how the "mini-mode" device works. IIRC, it doesn't matter how big or small, nor what body type you select for your character, Nova & Dwarf are always the same size, so it probably overrides any other such body scales... -

Because it is totally impossible that said Oni is a mutant or a guy with cleverly hidden fire-generating tech, concealed under/within a costume? That one is definitely more pigeon-holed than others, but still not impossible to explain away. We literally have tech/science-based undead in-game, so this one's easy to attribute to other origins. -
In general I don't disagree, but from a practicality standpoint, I don't think we're going to see entirely new pet sets created anytime soon.

I'm sure something similar has been proposed before, but here's my take: "The Bulwark" - You lead a squad of loyal minions from the front, serving as an example to them, with your deeds and actions spurring them on. Primary: Summon (with modifications) Secondary: Melee Special ability is "Feedback" - When you get attacked or damaged, your henchmen get a damage and tohit buff. When your henchmen deal damage, you get a regen and attack rate buff. This AT would also have a single-target taunt effect in their melee attacks, similar to Brutes and would use their melee sets in general. (The specific buffs and values are subject to change, of course.) Instead of the personal attacks that'd normally be found in the pet sets, there would be thematically appropriate armor powers. For instance, instead of Necromany getting dark blast, gloom, and life drain, it'd have dark embrace, murky cloud, and obsidian shield. These removed attacks would instead be migrated over to a selection of ancillary pool powers for Bulwarks. My initial take on the associated armor sets: Necromancy - Dark Armor Ninjas - Ninjitsu Demon Summoning - Fire Armor Robotics - Energy Aura Mercenaries - Invulnerability Thugs - Willpower Beast Summoning - Super Reflexes

[Let's Brainstorm] The Last 4 Incarnate Slots
biostem replied to ThatGuyCDude's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
We need to look at what we already have and see what's missing. We have passive/procs (interface), we have something akin to a T9/nuke (judgement), we have pet summons (lore), we have some sort of click buff (destiny), we have a toggle buff (hybrid), then we have what amounts to a global enhancement (alpha). What *don't* we have? Maybe some sort of super-movement powers? Maybe something akin to a Kheldian's Nova/Dwarf form that allows you to transform into something with powers you didn't have before. What about powers that fundamentally change the world around you, (would be represented as a decently sized location-based power that altered some characteristics, like increased damage for allies while reducing that of enemies). What if you could call forth your very shadow and have them fight alongside you, (sort of like the shadow dopplegangers from Positron 1). Maybe one of the powers could summon a sort of "spirit animal" or familiar, which provides a passive buff as long as it survives, (it would be significantly tougher than the START buff pets but have no attacks of its own).
