A better option would be a few combo-emojis - basically just add versions of the existing ones with thumbs up plus a smiley or something...
-
Hmm... maybe a combination of 2 seismic blast attacks, (since the Redcaps burrow and live underground), plus the "throw-a-redcap" one as the AoE when their black powder pack detonates, could work...
-
Ninjas already have archery. Maybe give them energy blast attacks, only with different secondary effects to represent generic magic attacks...
-
Great costume, and I never really tried that power combo, so I've been leveling up such a build...
-
Can you try launching the game in, say, Windows 7 or 10 compatibilty mode? What about if you temporarily disable your AV or firewall?
-
Well, it'd have to still take up a slot - either as a shoulder option or yet another back option which is just the neck ring itself. IIRC, there's a version of the backpack without the ring, so doing one that is just it should be possible. My money's on the original devs simply not expecting players to want that option...
-
I so wish we could get that neck ring without the full backpack...

I know the "either-or" mechanic that sets like Sentinel SR got for master/practiced brawler is not a huge favorite of the devs, but it'd be kind of neat if Kheldians could get alternate versions of Nova & Dwarf, with the alternate version of each that acted as a simple toggle that granted +tohit, +dmg, +rec & +res, status protection respectively, but excluded the full form switch, yet retained full access to the human-only powers. They'd probably have to have lesser values, but it'd be a great option...

AFAIK, "absorb" is treated no differently than taking damage - it's just an extra layer of HP that must be depleted before your actual HP get reduced...
-
I've mentioned this in a few other threads, but I think a happy medium would be various animal-themed eye and mouth accessories, so we could use them with existing head options, (hats, hoods, helms, etc).

I've had great fun with my necro/elec mastermind, (I consider necro to be "dark" for this purpose). Just make sure to use a bind or macro to target your nearest living henchman so you can chain your abilities more effectively...
-
Before tankers got the buffs they have now, it kind of made sense for them to have an easier to use PBAoE instead of a cone that requires more positioning. In a way, having it bit more reach is nice on a scrapper or stalker. That being said, (and yes I realize the devs said they don't like the "this or that" multiple power choice thing), this would be a prime location for such an implementation.
-
The APPs/PPPs wouldn't grant another armor to an AT that already has them. Mu mastery does have another cone attack, though and a PBAoE. Personally, I like the stun and heal of elec mastery, but play what you love!
-
I went dark/sr/fire on my sentinel. She is tough as nails and can pretty much stand up to anything. The Intuition Alpha slot ability buffs damage and tohit debuffs, damage, and range, all of which fantastically complement this combination! The boost to holds, which you'll have 2 of with this combo, is also nice.

I have a 50 necro/elec mastermind, which is quite fun to play, (I'm counting necromancy as dark for this purpose). It's a very effective combo. I use a bind to target my nearest living pet, to make chaining buffs easier. I'm not a huge blaster player, but a dark/elec one could be interesting. If you want to try something interesting, and are willing to expand your options a bit more, I've had great results with a dark/SR sentinel - just take the elec or Mu APP/PPP for the theme - if you go with the former, you can also take a chaining heal for a bit of team support. I do have one of these. The self heal in dark assault is very useful. The problem is it takes a lot of careful slotting and power use to not constantly bottom out your end bar, and if you want to run enough powers that grant defense so you can slot those 5 LotG global +rech IOs to achieve the mythical "perma-dom", end management becomes even trickier.
-
Maybe replace energy cloak with a damage/taunt aura. Otherwise, it could certainly work - the defense values would probably be about on par with what a Stalker gets...
-
If you go into the enhancement screen, then click on a slotted enhancement, you will get another screen where you can do things like combine or boost said enhancements; That sounds like what you're talking about.
-
I'm not a fan of electric armor, TBH, but electric blast and control are quite fun. I also like the electric support set, but being able to benefit from the buffs, since they chain, can be a bit tricky. Another thing to take into consideration is that end drain is rarely an effective strategy vs really tough targets, like AVs, so I generally do not enhance that aspect. I do like the extra damage effect they added when the blasts are used against targets with low end, though. The special effect tesla cage has when you have enough static is pretty cool as well. Does the character need to have electric as both their primary and secondary? Something like an elec blast/super reflexes sentinel could work well. An elec control/dark assault dominator could be effective as well. Whatever you decide to go with, best of luck!

My understanding is that, unlike defense, the counter to -res is having higher res values, and not any sort of -res resistance...

I'd love to see some nemesis parts made available to players. That being said, I don't think we should get all of them, but certain pieces would be fantastic, like the boots with lion kneepads or the steampunk-esque gasmask & face grille.

We already have hook hands and what-not, so I'd be all for gun hands. This is much less likely to occur, as the weapon attacks have a set emanation point, which would have to be changed to work with these new gun-hands. For other ranged attacks, though, the existing animations could probably work well enough...

If the information is only ever listed for your own performance, and to you exclusively, then sure. If it's some sort of "majority rules", then I'm not as inclined. Well, given that there are instances, however rare, of players being harassed, I'd rather not provide more tools to enable such harassment. Plenty of folks have voiced that they do, in fact, care. Again, while rare, I have seen instances where players were, shall we say, "lectured" for improper builds or power usage. They may not have been outright kicked from groups, but there are some people that make no qualms about providing unsolicited advice... As I said above, if such statistics are only for your own character and only visible to you, then I wouldn't have a problem with it. I do not think the game can actually track damage that was mitigated via a defense buff or such, though...
-
I very rarely take the fighting pool, with notable exceptions being for characters that already have high resists/defense and I want to reach the soft/hard cap, or even less frequently, in cases where the character has practically no defenses, and even a smidge will benefit them greatly...
-
Do you mean like an entirely new Kheldian AT option, with the features/options you mentioned? It's not impossible, but it'd be a lot of work...
-
If you look at how dual pistol powers are in their descriptions, you'll notice that each and every one, (that is affected by the ammo swapping ability), has to be coded to account for each form. This means each and every Kheldian power that would allow such "modes" would have to be revamped to permit this change. In short, not likely to happen. That being said, what I would like to see is some way of further customizing the existing Nova and Dwarf forms - either by being able to color more than the aura effect, or by entirely replacing/doing away with the model replacer...
