I am not going to say the Warriors are OP, but some powersets like Regeneration are not given the powers needed to to counter the speed of the Warrior's new Boss and Lt. attack rates until level 30 or so. At level 21 my Regen Scrapper is slaughtered by Warrior Bosses in under 10 seconds usually. You really need to hit a near full slotted Dull Pain as the battle starts to have time to get off a fully slotted Reconstruction even with slotted Resilience.

I don't have major problems with Warrior bosses with any other powersets or archetypes so maybe it is Regen that is nerfed too much for low level Content in it's present form? Although Regen can defeat Family mobs/Bosses with the same challenge level as other powersets.

You can say don't compare powersets at low levels, but the game should be shaping up better by the early 20's also.

Anyway, been playing since the old days, new Warriors vs Regeneration Scrappers is a mismatch. I feel more like a 2004 Blaster than a Scrapper. Of course there is plenty of other 'scrappy' stuff to do. 😉

That's where my comment on beta when the enemies were going through testing came from. The Warrior's got an insane damage scale boost in some of their attacks. I said the following:

Clobber animation reduced from 1.83s to 1.23s, damage scale increased from 0.25 to 2.92

    Is that 2.92 a typo? That's a large jump from 0.25...

    Current damage scale of 0.25:

    • Boss Crushers swings for 96 points of Smashing Damage
    • Lieutenant Crushers swings for 45 points of Smashing Damage.

    New damage scale of 2.92:

    • Boss Crushers swings for 1,125 points of Smashing Damage
    • Lieutenant Crushers swings for 527 points of Smashing Damage.

True.   Though it's defeating the spawns that generate the Winter Lord.  Number being between 400 & 500, which is why it spawns quicker if a team is opening presents since you get larger spawns.

I'm confused. I've spawned the Winter Lord after server reset on Indomitable at 88 Snowbeasts defeated and 47 presents opened. I've done it other times at over 200 Snowbeasts defeated and hundreds of presents opened (multiple full loops around all present spawn locations).

I've also seen it where it never occurs after an entire day and multiple badge toons collecting Toy Collector, only to realize it spawned in an area (like inside a aircraft hanger in Cap au Diable) and all my effort was wasted.

Of all the Giant Monsters to spawn, this one is just a head scratcher.

It would be really nice to have controls over the pulse that happen when static shield is on. It's my favorite looking toggle in the game with the aura it has, but it makes the character pulse white under the aura and kinda ruins whole effect. Dark armor powers have controls for "no pulse or fade". I'd love it if Electric Armor (or any of the toggle powers) had this option.

Welcome to the forums! I agree! Also, you may have better luck posting this feedback here:  https://forums.homecomingservers.com/forum/45-suggestions-amp-feedback/

I just started broadcasting on twitch a few months ago.  Problem being I loose my videos by not having enough subscribers.   Would you care to provide some feedback?

    Fantastic content Monty!

Easy to see UI and plenty of room left over on the screen for all the action and hijinks. Audio quality of teammates was goldilocks (not to loud, not too quiet) and the overall video length lended itself to digestible in one sitting or easy to watch entire length if it's live.

The only addition I would recommend is giving the audience a sense of progress or idea of what you're doing (i.e., me and my gang of villains are going to fight the good guys or I'm leveling up my character with my friends and just chilling). This could be implemented in the video title or in an on-screen banner.

  5. I wasn't a fan of NetEase's other game "Once Human" so I haven't tried out this one. The art style for both games makes me feel like I'm staring at A.I. generated content with no soul.

  6. I enjoy watching modern YouTube or Twitch streams of City of Heroes. Players today know how to adjust UI and position themselves so that their audience can feel like they're a part of the experience. In the old days of 240p and awful video compression software, it was akin to watching a car going through a car wash from outside the car.

Agreed. I only meant that its not worth the 6 slot investment. And i don't rely on it to keep the green bar full, if it gets to the point where you need a heal then its usually too late.

Makes sense. The fact that the set gets such great resists from Toroidal Bubble and White Cap jumps me in to the thick of things incentivized me to have a decent heal in my back pocket.

I have the one from the DVD Collectors Edition, but it's labeled "Quick start manual," so I don't know how much of a difference there is...

    There's also this:

    http://www.cityofheroes.ca/game_info/official_guides/official_city_of_heroes_manual.html

Which has a link to this PDF:

    http://www.cityofheroes.ca/global/includes/pdf/CoH_Manual.pdf

Maybe that's the right name - Quick Start. I've only been able to find ones called Game Manual online, but if the Quick Start was the one, I think that's what I'm looking for.
