I do not think the /vis_scale 20 is working, is my syntax right?
If you're typing it in the game chat, use "/vis_scale 20" This will only last as long as you are logged in to your account. Once you log out, it reverts to the default setting from your graphics settings in the settings tab.
If you're adding it as a command line parameter to the Homecoming Launcher, type "-vis_scale 20" in the command line and it will always launch the game with the highest world detail and not require you to type the command in the game chat every time you log in.

Is there any place that shows what the costumes and/or effect will look like. Since it can take a long time or lots of Influence to get the prismatic aether I'm sure there's others like me who would not want to waste them. Just having a visual of what we would be purchasing full body would be nice.

The time between seasons is starting to remind me of how Japanese anime studios do their work. Usually about 10-12 episodes then an 8-10 month break. Either way this is good news and I'm excited for the third season to drop!

Ice Blast is superb on either Corruptor or Defender and will meet the needs you've described for contributing to team damage.
As for support set (both buff and debuff), it's going to have better values (about +5%) across the board on Defenders. Corruptors aim to make up this loss by using the same support set, but applying Scourge to enemies who have reached a certain threshold for it to kick in at a scaling chance to do double damage on primary attacks.

My abilities appear to be randomly removing themselves from my Action Bars, and now showing up under powers to move them back. Right now I am missing my jetpack to fly. But I cant find it?
The jetpack likely had a timer that expired if it was a temporary power.

@DrRocket The maximum range that players can see enemies is 1153ft. If you're not hitting that cap, try using Tactics or other Perception boosting powers to increase the range at which enemies are perceived.
Edit: Small error on my part - VEATs get a capped of 1260ft Perception.

If I put a Recharge Enhancement in a Toggle Power, will it have any affect?
The toggle will recharge faster.

I'm with you. People find the dumbest shit to nitpick and continue to double click into said stupid shit even further. This thread could have ended 1 page ago with ZemX's first post.
Question's been answered. Slows exist, there are cheap and expensive ways to combat it. End drain exists, there are ways to address that too. Time to stop piling on the guy and do something more productive.
Until the next thread they start saying the same thing...

The original poster never said he got recharge floored from 1 minion; he said he got end drained in 2 shots from 1 minion, and I definitely remember sappers being able to do that back in the day.
I've just been playing the game through again lately, doing every mission from every contact, red and blue side, plain level 25 io's only. Up to level 34 now. I have definitely been recharge floored a few times, and if I weren't in the habit of carrying 4 lucks on me minimum, I'm sure I'd find myself in some hell situations. (For those who haven't seen the main game in years because they spend all their time on max gear characters or in farms, being recharge floored definitely does put all your powers on 20-40 second cooldowns even for basic attacks).
What's the debuff called that lasts 40 seconds and brings a player's recharge rate to -75%?
And the original post did not indicate any endurance drain debuff occurring, just to be clear.
The post said ice powers.
Subsequent posts indicated the enemies were below their character's level in Steel Canyon.
Outside of Outcasts natively spawning, no other enemy group besides Winter Lord enemies have that ability. Specifically Winter Lord itself has a debuff aura that causes -recharge.

You are fond of this particular complaint, but always wrong about it. Many, if not most debuffs, are carried by attacks that need to hit you. So first line of defense against them... is defense. Doesn't mean none will ever hit you but it greatly reduces the odds they'll stack on you if only 1 in 5 or 10 hits you.
Second, specific debuffs can have specific resistances. Recharge debuffs are countered by recharge debuff resistance, a.k.a. slow resistance. Two easiest places to get this are (1) Winter's Gift: Slow resistance IO. One slot, 20% resist to slow. Goes in a travel power. (2) The SG Base empowerment station can give you a temporary 20% boost for 90 minutes to slow resistance (and a lot of other useful things too, like say... endurance drain resistance, recovery boost, etc.) Cost you a bit of minor salvage each time. Aside from this, slow resistance is found in Winter Set ATOs which are, admittedly, very expensive. Slow resistance is also found in some armor sets and powers. I've got a bit in my Rad Armor tankers for example and I build much more on top since I get hit by everything (no defense). It is possible to attain 100% slow resistance and be affected only by unresistible slows, of which there are very few in the game.
Endurance drain is countered by endurance drain resist, which isn't super common or available in IO sets. But you can increase endurance and endurance recovery. Having powers that restore endurance is nice too. Recovery serum temp power from START vendor. etc. etc.
Solutions abound, in other words. Look for them.
I think you meant to quote the author of that post - my post was picking out their absolutes that embellished the actual issue.

Well unless you start using specifics like what level your character was, what level the enemy was, how many enemies there were, what enemy faction it was, or even just writing what the name of the attack itself that caused this was, folks aren't going to be able to answer much.

Noticing a lot of extremes, maybe a lot of embellishments to make a point about recharge debuffs.
Not just an increase, but a MASSIVE increase.
Not just some of the powers taking a long time to recharge, but ALL of the powers.
No way to fight back.
Forever on cooldown.
Impossible to fight.
Have you tried getting some slow resistance? Or teaming with players who have +Recharge buffs? Or using temporary powers to buff your character's Recharge speed? Or lowering the level of difficulty for the enemies you're facing? Or selected powers that improve your character's recharge time?

Seems kind of drastic. Are you sure the mods didn't attribute a comment to you or pick out the wrong person from the thread? Mods are human and make mistakes - it normally just takes filing a support to ticket or responding to their message. And even if it was intentional, you can always just elevate your disagreement of the handling of your case to a Lead GM to adjudicate. Well if you change your mind we'll still be here!

Gonna revive this.
Cause it's 2025. And it's about time for this modern MMO convenience to enter the game.
If they are gonna continue to release new power sets, they need to provide a way to use those sets without needing to completely remake a character.
Cause to head off the "Just make a new character" crowd, the gameplay loop is not varied or engaging enough to support a grind to full build every time a new power that works more interestingly for your character concept comes out, not after the 10th or 11th time. You know it, I know it. You spend most of your time playing the same content with a group of friends or hanging in the D, go sit down. The game will survive a bit of modernizing.
You'll still have to farm out new Enhancements for each change anyway, there's plenty of build in user retention without needing to make a whole new character.
It's just good UX. It's time for this feature to exist. On 7/18/2019 at 7:11 AM, Vanden said:Ah, here it is. The old "super respec but only once per character" suggestion. I was wondering when we'd start seeing these threads again.

My thinking is, am I using the T9 in anticipation of something or am responding to a situation that exceeds my normal mitigation measures.
Proactive versus reactive.

A GM simply closing a ticket doesn't mean much. What was the customer satisfaction?
Closing tickets means a lot to players.
First, this isn't a business. There aren't customers. It's a volunteer ran operation. Everyone devotes their free time so we can play. Without fail, these GMs have come to my rescue within minutes of me submitting my help ticket to fix whatever issue I'm experiencing. That's faster than any game support I've ever experienced in any game, let alone one I don't pay for in any way.
Second, I get what you're actually saying and I'll repeat what I said already - I've received fantastic support any time I've requested it, whether in game or on the forums.
Take a look:

what do you aim it at then please?
It's not an automatic process. The user adds the badges they have manually. There's a way to add badges basically automatically by using a set title command, but I'm not familiar enough to explain how to do that.
Ideas for Mind and Vitae Incarnate Slots

Hey these are cool ideas. Ever since I saw...
the Mind Incarnate control panel in the room next to the Corpse of Ruin
...in the advanced mode of the Lady Grey Task Force I've wondered where the Homecoming developers would go with the remaining Incarnate tree.
