  1. I'll plug Plant/Time. Was my main character on Live, capable of so much with what you have. /Time is pretty much all-around buff and debuff set, nearly everything you could want from a Buff powerset, and Plant is a fairly offensive focused Control set (it was originally a Dominator set) with a great cone confusion, strong group controls, and the vines, good god I love the vines. Together you get a ton of solid control and debuff, while also being a strong team support with your excellent AoE heals, Temporal Selection for your whoever needs it and Farsight/Chrono Shift being two amazing team buffs that are just as useful solo. Back on Live I had rolled this specifically to stack Spirit Tree with Temporal Selection for the Hamidon tank; extremely potent +Regen potential between the two, especially with enough recharge to dump 3 trees at once, though I think the current Hamidon strats don't really need this kind of help anymore. Currently attempting an Electric/Storm. Just getting started with it but I think once I get the Force Feedbacks and KB>KDs in there will be some shenanigans. The combination of abilities makes this combo look like it prefers to stay with the melees, that way your Conductive Aura, Steamy Mist, and possibly Hurricane (if the Repel isn't an issue) all help out and take effect. Endurance Drain and Knockdowns are looking like they're going to be super strong here.
  2. From what i've seen, /Time's sustain has a solid end recovery on a free toggle that also gives a minor amount of absorb every few seconds. My Rad/Time never runs out of end unless i'm fighting things that drain it. Also, /Energy has a click End Discount in the form of Energize. For 1 minute, you get a 54% endurance discount which will completely erase your end issues, and you get a minor heal and regen buff on top of it; with some global recharge and/or a couple recharge IOs you can easily make Energize permanent. On my Archery/Energy I never run out of end as long as I remember to Energize when it's up (I have Boost Range on auto instead), even with running a full Leadership set, Stealth, CJ, and Scorpion Shield. Hell, even when I forget to turn off Super Jump i'm not running out of end.
  3. From experience: Archery is an interesting note. I don't know if it's better or worse, but when you BU/Aim your Rain of Arrows, you're still technically "out of combat" just after firing. This allows you to launch RoA and still take a long-snipe on a boss in the group that will survive RoA for the 4.5 damage while BU/Aim is still up. I have a little bit of interrupt reduction in mine, so the shot usually goes off before the group hits me back. It helps soften the boss while still providing the nice range bonus for Fistful to mop up any other survivors.
  4. I admit I stooped a bit. I rolled a Minotaur themed character as a fire/fire Brute. I named him "Raze the Steaks"
  5. Try double clicking; it stopped mid-download and just let me play when I chose the live 64-bit client.
  6. Probably gonna sound a bit ignorant here, but what's the advantage of running in the 64-bit client over the standard client anyway? I never paid much attention to the bit differences when programs use it.
  7. I generally don't get punny names, i'm not clever enough. But as for amusing, I derailed the help channel the other day by having the name Disco Ninja (Katana/Reflexes Stalker). Suddenly the chat became a variety of many musical ninjas, such as Folk Rock Ninja, New Country Ninja, Heavy Metal Ninja, and my favorite: 80's Power Ballad Ninja. I also have Rail Baron (Titan/Fire Brute) under my belt. A stereotypical railroad baron looking dude who wields a crossing signal as his weapon.
  8. Hey, @Zork Nemesis here if anyone remembers me or my various characters such as Precambria, Rail Baron, Urban Champion, Ulawun, Lionsblade, or just Zork Nemesis. I've set up shop on Indomitable and have been releveling Precambria and Rail Baron since I found out about the homecoming servers a few days ago. Hard to believe it's been a good seven years.
