Windows 7 Professional 64 bit SP1 I was unable to get the launcher to load the first time I tried (see earlier in this thread). I cleared my browser cache and downloaded whatever is the latest version of the installer (11/8/2020 5:30 PM EST). I was able to run it and get into the game with little bother. To run the launcher a second time, I needed to replace my start menu shortcut with an apparently identical one that I created. Dunno what's up with that, but it works. I'm now playing the game using the new launcher.

In the Penny Yin TF, in the reactor anteroom of the last mission, a Freak always says this: Mad Freak Slammer: You can control the chaos, Task Force Temblor! Presumably he means "You can't control the chaos."

I tried installing Ubuntu, Wine, and Lutris -- not sure I did it right, but I tried to follow the instructions here, and I got pretty much identical results to my Windows 7 attempt. edit: Posting from Ubuntu - I'll dual boot back to Windows so I can play. edit 2: Redownloaded the latest launcher and it is now working in W7.

All I can think of off hand is the Cosmic Corsair jacket and the mad scientist lab coat. I don't know if either one will look good to you.

I added an exception and turned my AV off entirely, but neither made any difference.

It sounds like what happens when the SHIFT key gets "stuck" - when the game drops a key release message and thinks it's still pressed when it isn't. Try tapping each SHIFT key and see if that clears the problem.

Yeah, XP boosters are temporary powers, and shouldn't have any effect while you are defeated.

Agreed on the Energy/Energy blaster. How about Gravity/Force Field or perhaps Ice/Cold for a controller?

The Tsoo Shenanigans arc from Kong Bao (Blue side, 20-24?) Response to a fedex mission has an error in it - "an berserk killing machine" should be "a berserk killing machine." Correction - level 15-19.

Last mission text from Apex: "... methods from invasion..." should be "methods for invasion" or something similar.
