  1. With Soothing Aura slotted like how I have it in the build I posted, it heals for approx 196 HP every couple of seconds...not counting the chances to proc. Nullify Pain, the PBAoE Heal, with my slotting, heals for 281 HP every (roughly) 3 seconds. Combined, that's a decent amount of healing. Also, your DP attacks, if you put, say, the Ice Mistral Chance For Cold Damage in your attack, it will have a chance to fire regardless if you have Cryo Ammo selected or not. Meaning, any proc, even if it *should* only have a chance to proc based on the certain ammo type, will have that chance to proc NO MATTER the ammo type selected. Might be a bit of info you didn't know, didn't wanna know, or might actually give you a couple of ideas if you want to proc out your attacks. Oh, crap. Just realized I only slotted one set of the Defender IO...I forgot to slot Superior Vigilant Assault (has some nice set bonuses). Either way, I have several DP toons, and it's a fun set. The only Pain Domination toon I have is my Mercs/Pain MM, and I like it. I wish that Suppress Pain (the same as a Defender's Soothing Aura) worked like Soothing Aura. On MMs/Corrs it gives a Regen bonus,NOT a flat out heal every couple of seconds. BUT, the procs still fire off on everyone 😃
  2. I play a Mercs/Pain MM. It procs on my pets, myself, and allies as long as they're all in range.
  3. If I were playing one, and trying to stay as close to the powers as you took, I might build mine like this. Does Rune Of Protection get any benefit from Recharge (I ask because the description in Mids says it doesn't".
  4. Beat me to it.
  5. I love Soothing Aura. If you slot the Panacea and Numina's procs in it, it has a chance to proc for all allies in the aura. Pain bringer is a great buff for a teammate. I think I put Miracle:heal/recharge, heal/end/recharge, same 2 pieces of Numina's, and 1 performance shifter (end/recharge) in it. It's especially useful on teammates that constantly run low/out of end, or on your tank to keep their health up. Does conduit of pain really need 6 slots? I'd just stick with the default single slot. That's the first things that jumped at me. I can look more in depth later.
  6. Bring on a specific/purple/very rare/whatever Healing IO set! As long as Regen gets nerfed! 🤣
  7. My AR/TA is pretty fun. So is my Sonic/Pain, though I'd say it's geared more towards team play.
  8. Cold shoulder FTW
  9. I love my dark/dp defender. I think it's kept me from rolling any other Defenders bc I'm afraid any others won't be anywhere close to it.
  10. After debating, I ended up rolling a Ninja/Sonic. The Ninjas have better Defenses, and a heal. Figured with that, coupled with the Resists from Sonic might be pretty decent. I really don't know why, but I just want a /Sonic toon. Maybe because I hardly ever see any in game?
  11. Anyone ever played this combo? With Beasts' fairly high defenses (without using Fortify Pack) and heals, combined with the high Resists from Sonic, sounds good. Just wondering if anyone has played it, or has any insight on these 2 powersets. Appreciate it.
  12. I had one before the rework. It was pretty good. Teams generally love /EA to begin with. I haven't played it since the rework, but I could see it being a powerhouse. Some of your resistances should be capped, and the Absorb, heals will be a nice addition. Your 1st upgrade slot some resistance IOs in it, and your final upgrade throw in some Heal uniques (Numina's, Panacea, Regenerative). They will have a chance to trigger , and it helps. After the rework, I fell in love with my Necro/FF.
  13. Fixed that for ya @PyroNugget
  14. I love being told how to play my toons.
  15. How's this look? Invincibility is turned to just 1 foe, and I didn't choose any Incarnates. Not too shabby as far as Resists and Defenses go. 5 enemies fueling Invincibility hits the soft cap. Tanker - Invulnerability Energy Melee.mbd
  16. Then call me Raphael 🤣
  17. Have you thought about Demons/EA ? It's EXTREMELY tanky. Anywho....between Demons and ninjas, I would lean just a bit more towards Demons. Ninjas are cool and all, and can pump out some damage....but they have like no resists. Having the ice shields on them would cap them, but when something gets thru it, MAN it hurts. Demons would have a nice mix of Def and Resists...plus one of your pets will heal also. I feel like Demon Prince is a better pet overall compared to the Oni. I like throwing in the Impeded Swiftness proc in him since most all of his attacks has a chance to trigger it. Demons= safer, good mix of damage types, good mix of Def and Resists, heal Ninjas= can pump out major damage, hardly any resists, last upgrade will allow pets to heal. Better kill fast before the enemy gets to you
  18. Care to share that Rad/Stone build?
  19. Jeremy?
  20. I also thought about Bio, but I already have several Bio toons 😎
  21. Seriously? I didn't know it only worked when power Siphon was up. Hmm... And I have a dark/dp defender. It's pretty awesome!
  22. Hey all. Thinking of trying something totally new. Looking at building a tank debuffer, and Ice or Shield paired with Kinetic Melee sounds like a gem. It appears you could pump out a LOT of -damage debuff...especially with Darkest Night. Is -damage debuff actually worth it? Is the debuff noticeable? Or should I go back to the drawing board and maybe build something for -to hit debuff, or -defense debuff? Thanks for any input. -X
  23. I don't have PB, and you can see that I have my Necro pets at 45.05% Defense.
  24. Yes
