  2. Well I leveled a beast/dark, bots/time, demon/cold and thugs/traps to 50, and many many more to 30's and 40's. (incidentally, my altitis doesn't prevent me from making 50's, that's easy. My altitis prevents me from making money to fund the 50's) Sorry, got sidetracked there....much like my ninjas! Seriously though, I've been leveling a ninja/electric and am now at 35. Yeah it's kind of a maniacal carpal tunnel inducing playstyle and you definitely can't "chill" with the combo, but man, those suckers hit so hard....mobs just.....melt under their frantic swords and shurikens. With electric it's easy, although still busy, to keep them alive. I think it's my favorite combo so far. Like, of them all. Anyway, my main purpose of this post was to thank @Sir Myshkin who casually dropped a ninja/electric build back when electric was brand new. That's the build I'm using and it's really good. The only issue is it has (3) attacks in it and well, I can't seem to find the manual dexterity to get them off as I need to keep healing the little buggers, but I can get one off every so often. I've been afraid to try ninjas due to their paper thin skin but decided to take the leap. I encourage others to do the same. Good fun!   3. LOL I guess I did sound a little dramatic 🙂 I think I took Physical Perfection as I borrowed from a dark armor build and now just realized...oh wait....this is electric armor. Thanks for the guidance!!
  4. HI All, I searched and only found one build of this kind but it looks like it was before the DM buff. Could you have a look at my build and see if it could be tweaked a bit? I wanted soft capped melee/S/L which I got but the others are pretty lowish. I wanted as many maxed resistances as I could get, I fell a tad short on neg energy , psi and of course toxic. I also really want the teleport pool: Teleport, combat teleport and fold space but I cannot seem to get fold space in there. Anyone better at this then me have a way to improve it? Is it redeemable?   6. Do you mean a boost to damage or accuracy if we fulfill a certain requirement? What types of things were you thinking? I'm curious now. Or are you saying that MM pets performance is poor to begin with and you wouldn't mind a long recharge as long they had a buff in the future rather than a deceased recharge time? Not trolling just genuinely curious

I totally agree on no auto upgrades, I don't have an issue upgrading with each summons, but for your second point, no other AT is "punished" by losing access to their primary for a period of time. You still have to upgrade them, buff them with other abilities etc so it will still be a small inconvenience when they die.
  8. Thank you for the response. Yes I use those ones and find them great for controlling each tier. I remember reading somewhere (maybe on these forums but I cannot find it now) that you could create a bind or macro using the "name" you give each pet?
  9. If there a specific set of binds, or better yet based on my hand agility, macros, that divide your pets up so specifically? Very interesting read! And a compelling argument for trying the combo out. Thank you!
  10. That's just awesome thank you @Force Redux! I hope this encourages other would be MM's to try dark out. I never realized how fun it is. And safe, well so far, at level 46.
  11. Ok, that's good to know that time bomb is still not worth it even with fold space. That helps a lot, even just to get scorpion shield.
  12. So I've been reading on here how good fold space is with traps now. I've been mixing and matching builds and I have a question. I am finding it difficult to fit 3 teleport powers in unless I get rid of the epic pool, or the fighting pool as I want so many powers from the primary and secondary as the 28 and 32 powers are good solo with fold space. If I can still achieve soft cap(which i like) is it worth it then to not have an epic pool? Thanks for any advice you can give.

  15. I don't know how I didn't come across this post sooner. Amazing amount of quality information, thank you @Force Redux. I am using your guide for the dark portion of slotting, but I am unsure about beasts(which is the way I'd like to go). I read somewhere that their attacks are more useful then the other sets so that means less choice of powers elsewhere. Also, you can't slot the defense and resistance uniques in their level 18 ability so I am unsure what to take out of each of the beasts slots to make room for it. Should one consider taking the attacks or would you be "fine' skipping them on beasts? And where is the best place for the uniques? Maybe that's too many questions lol. Sorry. It's my first real attempt at a mastermind because this guide inspired me, especially the little intro for beasts/dark.

  19. Hi there, I stepped away from the game for a bit and came back to dust off my Dark/Staff Tanker. He was built using the posted build. I found it on the forums last year and I *think* the original build creator was @Justaris? I just saved it to my mids folder so I cannot for sure remember. Anyway, with the "new" damage and and AOE range changes with tanks, is there any tweaks that could be made to this build? I love it to pieces, and taking it for a test drive he performed well, but thought I would ask the tanker community if some of the AOE attacks should be slotted differently now?     You're right, doing a search on these forums yields very little info on this particular combo. Thank you for posting this build as well as you're analysis of it. A couple questions if I may? Do you find the stone attacks necessary for the build? As in your damage output was poor without them? Have you tried proccing the single target hold? I did mine and it's seems like it does good damage but I'm not super skilled in builds. Also, what about mace mastery for the shield? Or have you found your defense enough in combination with darks - to hit and would the shield be way over kill? Thank you for your input.

  23. Hi Omega, I am using this build to the letter and so far has been pretty good. Not sure if you have since updated it or not? I have a question about channelgun. Its not really slotted and doesn't play a large role within the attack chain, so for concept purposes would it be a big deal to change it t the melee attacK? And if so what 3 IO's would be the best fit? Thank you for all your crabber input these past months!!!

I have plunked in your IO's thus far (minus the purples of course, i replaced them with their "lesser" equivalents), so may as well take it to 50 and see. Thank you for your contributions...... however, if I may, would necro be a good fit? I have a concept for that as well. Aren't they resist based? a good fit with electric i mean
