Hey @JJDrakken I would like to see what you can come up with for a dual Blades/dark armour brute. Ideally I'd also like either the dark or soul epic but I understand endurance is an issue and may need the energy epic. The only combo I'm interested in is sweep. Other than that just pure damage. I'm hoping to get resists as high as possible across the board so I realize defense may have to take a hit, but maybe melee defense as a focus if anything. Here's the kicker, I'd like to keep OG, CoF and the Rez as well. I understand this is probably a tall order but if you're willing to take a crack at it then my thanks 🙏 Edit: don't worry about money either 😀

Hey @Infinitum I've been wracking my brains a bit trying to get a build to work that isn't the "meta" but something I dearly want to run. It's a Brute, which I believe you do build also? The powersets are ...........don't cringe........ Dual Blades/Dark Armour There isn't that specific combination in any posts in recent history (last year or so) so I did try my hand at achieving the goals which were: As high as resists across the board as possible for a brute but still maintain good damage, along with at least soft capped melee defense, with the speed travel power and the dark epic(or soul, whichever worked better). All why keeping endurance under control. Kinda want to keep OG, CoF and the revive too 😔 Phew! I gave up in a childlike fit of frustration and then had the brilliant idea to grab one of your tanker dark armour builds and another DB build from the forums( I believe I found a scrapper version), and create a disgustingly sick Frankenstein hybrid, mashing the two together to create my one big beautiful brute.......but I kept running into contradictions on sets and just could not decide what to sacrifice. So then I fell on the ground kicking my heels again while my own children stared on in what could only be described as sumg satisfaction that they were indeed, emotionally superior to their father. Am I asking too much for all of that mixed into a sub par couple of sets? Am I going to seek counseling? Is my wife going to leave me due to these outbursts? All this and more can be answered by you @Infinitum No pressure 😳 TLDR: can I please have a DB/DA Brute with great resists, decent defense and damage, and ok endurance control please 🙏 My thanks!

Thanks for the great build! Would you be willing to attach a .txt file or a mids export for it? Just so I can see what levels you slotted what, that's my biggest issue with HEAT's is when to put the slots for a better leveling experience.

Where are you at with this now? I'm 35 and running +2/x5 without problems so far. Marine really speeds up kill time on my pets man, wow.

Hey @Nemu What were your incarnate choices? Or at least your alpha. I still feel endurance is a small problem at 50 and slotted, but not devestating. Torn between musculature radial or agility core?

You see, this s**t right here....... This is gold. I have seen the OP's ability to make a "tricked out" min maxed , cookie cutter build with fighting pool and Scorpion shield blah blah blah. But this, it looks just simply fun. Is it top tier? I dunno, I suck at builds but I doubt it is. But does it look hella frickin fun and I'm willing to invest the time and influence into it? Yup. This and the batpanda one.from ages past that I really enjoyed playing. Thank you Nemu, for showing me I don't need the same old to have fun.

Indeed I have mine at 37 right now and having fun on teams. Quick question, I'm going to remove tactics and Scorpion shield for sleet and frozen armor. Bad idea? I lose some energy defense but I switched out the lockdown in cinders for entomb and that helped a bit.

Yup, runs pretty smooth alright. Got him all kitted out. Only thing I changed, and don't smack me lol, is I removed shadow slip for hasten. Threw the extra slot into Stygian circle for a little more end. I don't know if the recharge speed change was worth it but I do like having eclipse overlap a safe amount.

I mean, you could take psi melee on a melee AT, color the attacks greenish. I'm sure there's some combination of colours that will make the "fist" really stand out. But then you don't really have any blast powers. Ohhh, maybe illusion/psi Dom? Does their TK power have the fist? But now I'm focusing too much on just one aspect....carry on 🤣

How has this been working out for you? Have you got 50 and incarnated out? Is there anything you would change? Just started leveling your build. At 27 now and I'm so far liking it better than the bi and tri forms in attempted to level

I actually like the AS animation. I visualize it as a close range balefire like from WoT. However I'm all for alternatives so long as they don't remove as well. Also, leveling a fire/fire stalker now and yes, it "feels" good so far!

I think Ice/Claws would be a wickedly cool concept pairing, and rare. I'm sure you can make one of the claw skins "icy" looking (maybe the energy one, tinted blueish?)for a super ice monster?!

I'm running a page 5 viable afk spines/fire brute on an asteroid fire map. Is there some trick to consistently grab the whole map. Sometimes I think I have them then go afk, only to come back 10 minutes later and I'm standing alone and 5 or 6 packs are walking around casually, acting like I didn't just wipe out half their friends.

Are you thinking pulling the 2 from kick and adding a couple of performance shifters into crystal? I can't think of a way of doing it without sacrificing a bit of the e/n defense
