No takers? C'mon, Krampus ain't that scary. Also, you get free money!

You slowly open your eyes. At first, things seem quite bright, but as your eyes adjust, you notice white all around you. You make out what seems to appear white snowy mounds and hills, even some trees guarding around you. You find yourself in a tundra wonderland. You notice different objects around you, broken parts of what appears to be a crashed airplane. You remember now. You were in an airplane flying to your destination, when all of a sudden the turbulence was too much and the plane could not handle it. Before you gather your thoughts together, something in the distance catches your eye. A house. A run-down type of house, but you notice a faint glow of what appears to be a light in the windows. It is cold outside, very cold. You can feel your body becoming numb. What choice do you have? You make your way to the house. An inner chill fills up through your body as you make your way towards the house....on one hand you know you need to reach the house for your own survival....on the other hand.....you can't help the deep sense of inner-warning as you make your way towards a dwelling that seems more oddly peculiar and sinister the closer you get to it. ========================= Welcome to the haunted House of Krampus! This is a series of games I hosted on other chat forums, all which had great success. :} I decided to bring this to my CoH family as well. Was hoping to post this on the main channel for more views, but I noticed it was for CoH-content only. Hopefully this will catch enough attention in this section. I'm only hosting 3 spots for this game, usually I will do 5, but had to start this game late due to some RL busyness. House Guests (victims) 1: 2: 3: HOW-TO-PLAY: [1]- This game is limited to 3 players total (one at a time). Each player (house guest) will go through different scenarios (up to total of 10 per player), making choices and trying to survive through Krampus's house! [2]- I will NOT RESERVE SPOTS. After the current player is done, the first person to respond to claim next spot will get it. No holding or claiming of spots. [3] If a player does not respond within 72 hrs of the posted scenario, that individually automatically forfeits their play in the game and their participation reward. The spot will be open to a next available player. The player who forfeited their play is not allowed to re-participate in the current game's play (but is allowed in future versions of the game series if they choose). [4]- For each player who successfully participates in this game (w/o breaking rule #3), they will get a participation prize of 25m sent to their in-game email. Any player who survives up to 10 scenarios will not only complete Krampus's house for bragging rights, but also claim a reward of 250m inf to their in-game email! [5]-I will not transfer the rewards to other players. If a player chooses not to claim any reward, I will keep the inf for myself for my next game. To get the reward, you must be willing to type your global in this thread at the end of your run. If you're not willing to post your global in this thread, please do not participate. ===================== Who dare ye enters the house of Krampus?!?!

Easy! 1) At 9pm EST, come inside city hall in Atlas and get in line to claim ANY purple OF YOUR CHOICE! 2) 1 purple per person/player. 3) There may be some extra side lottery chances for more prizes...thats the word on the street! C U there!

I cant imagine thats what HC intended. lol, I'd still label it as a bug. Unless HC is intentionally repeating that 1 minion at the train station kill in RV badge again 😛
-
Tried both. Nada.

Story arcs w/ incarnate cim, Island hunting in cim, ITF, and missions in Cim story arcs----- none counting towards Legatus badge counter. Tried different methods with multiple people; none seemed to work to for any of us.

New salvage for holding large amounts of Influence/Infamy
CU_Krow replied to Andreah's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Same. I shared it with a discord of individuals who run alot of raid/league contents on the Everlasting server. Quite few of them were supportive of the idea as well & were able to see the benefit, -
The complexity of the WS is kind of what brings its unique twist into the CoHverse+what Tyrann said, For those reasons, I say no.
-
Cool concept/idea, but don't think the implementation would look good for quite a few powersets/attack abilities (e.g. kinetic melee, martial arts, SJ, katana,). And for those reasons, I say no.

New salvage for holding large amounts of Influence/Infamy

I know you said you didn't read every post. Right now its only 2 pages. Few people have brought up how this idea is a better alternative, even in addressing the email piece. -

New salvage for holding large amounts of Influence/Infamy
CU_Krow replied to Andreah's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I 100% support this idea. Pretty much for same reasons as shared by everyone else -easier way of transfering funds -good for handing out as prizes/events (specially useful for people who run in groups/events) -even useful for solo players to trade between funds (bypasses clunky email system of typos/keepn tabs on alts/milking for inf) I see no downside to this suggestion. -
I 101% agree on every point. I think the others which liked your post saw the benefit of this as well, which is why they liked it without posting. This thread has pretty much run its course, since the 32 bit integer pretty much eliminates the idea I proposed. However, your alternate solution completely bypasses the spaghetti system and is something very doable by the current team w/ much less effort. Another reason I recommended you making a thread with this idea is cause knowing forum experience, majority of ppl view this thread will only see the OT, skip the remainder of posts, then post their own opinion 😛 I doubt this particular thread will run more than past this wknd.
-
This is a legit idea & multiple people have "liked" it on the post. You consider posting this as a suggestion thread? It will prob be overlooked in this thread. I would 100% support it.
-
Would that be difficult to do?
-
2 billion per char seems bit small with current market. Instead of sending countless emails, or making new alts as inf holders, how about just simply increasing the inf cap? Instead of 2B, make it a 10 billion inf cap. There's only upsides to this suggestion, imo.

Magnificence Unwavering

Not really. Just reread the OP, there's quite a bit of difference in my post compared to the OP.

Recommended: How about finding people who are willing to lead more server events & supporting them? This past year has done a number of people, understandably, yet I'm sure there's some people who would still be willing to run global community events. Just a matter of being creative & then supporting those said-people. For example, Smol and his sports-like pvp events. I share this because, 1) I interact a lot with the player-base in Everlasting community (my server home), and most feedback I see is a desire & appreciation for variety. 2) I remember the GM event back when HC first came out in 2019, with the GM who had the riddle, then had a custom-made boss fight in both blue (PI) and red (PO) in the community, which was very cool, fun, & creative. I recall tons of positive feedback from that event. 3) I believe variety of global events is a supportive catalyst that contributes to the current growth of the community.
