  1. Hello Everlasting! Save your calendars for 10/23/2021 for Octoberfest! Event will take place approximately between 9-11pm and will host the following events: HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST: Between 1-2billion inf in prizes! MURDER MYSTERY EVENT: Can you figure out the mystery? Win prizes if so! HALLOWEEN COH TRIVIA: Test you Halloween-event trivia knowledge! Win some goodies in return! ...and more!
  2. lol I own that comment. My SG has currently made it to 801.A So we have A, B, C and D left I believe till we complete the series.
  3. Same. I shared it with a discord of individuals who run alot of raid/league contents on the Everlasting server. Quite few of them were supportive of the idea as well & were able to see the benefit,
  4. The complexity of the WS is kind of what brings its unique twist into the CoHverse+what Tyrann said, For those reasons, I say no.
  5. Cool concept/idea, but don't think the implementation would look good for quite a few powersets/attack abilities (e.g. kinetic melee, martial arts, SJ, katana,). And for those reasons, I say no.
  6. I know you said you didn't read every post. Right now its only 2 pages. Few people have brought up how this idea is a better alternative, even in addressing the email piece.
  7. I 100% support this idea. Pretty much for same reasons as shared by everyone else -easier way of transfering funds -good for handing out as prizes/events (specially useful for people who run in groups/events) -even useful for solo players to trade between funds (bypasses clunky email system of typos/keepn tabs on alts/milking for inf) I see no downside to this suggestion.
  8. I 101% agree on every point. I think the others which liked your post saw the benefit of this as well, which is why they liked it without posting. This thread has pretty much run its course, since the 32 bit integer pretty much eliminates the idea I proposed. However, your alternate solution completely bypasses the spaghetti system and is something very doable by the current team w/ much less effort. Another reason I recommended you making a thread with this idea is cause knowing forum experience, majority of ppl view this thread will only see the OT, skip the remainder of posts, then post their own opinion 😛 I doubt this particular thread will run more than past this wknd.
  9. This is a legit idea & multiple people have "liked" it on the post. You consider posting this as a suggestion thread? It will prob be overlooked in this thread. I would 100% support it.
  10. 2 billion per char seems bit small with current market. Instead of sending countless emails, or making new alts as inf holders, how about just simply increasing the inf cap? Instead of 2B, make it a 10 billion inf cap. There's only upsides to this suggestion, imo.
  11. Not really. Just reread the OP, there's quite a bit of difference in my post compared to the OP.
  12. Recommended: How about finding people who are willing to lead more server events & supporting them? This past year has done a number of people, understandably, yet I'm sure there's some people who would still be willing to run global community events. Just a matter of being creative & then supporting those said-people. For example, Smol and his sports-like pvp events. I share this because, 1) I interact a lot with the player-base in Everlasting community (my server home), and most feedback I see is a desire & appreciation for variety. 2) I remember the GM event back when HC first came out in 2019, with the GM who had the riddle, then had a custom-made boss fight in both blue (PI) and red (PO) in the community, which was very cool, fun, & creative. I recall tons of positive feedback from that event. 3) I believe variety of global events is a supportive catalyst that contributes to the current growth of the community.
  13. What time is this event, Vile? Either I'm blind or i dont see it lol
  14. Update -added Dec events; not too many, if anyone is running or know of any, feel free to msg me. Check 2nd post for all monthly events.
  15. I 100% agree about the poll being easy to cheese, especially with multi-boxing. Even if multi-boxing was not a thing, the purpose of the poll would only be to support the voice of the majority already expressed in this thread. Poll or not, results are easily predictable. @Arli, outside the negative pvp impact, what other impacts has the basemacro exploit had on the community?
  16. I can not add more to what has already been said in this thread. Judging by the first 8 pages, I am seeing people more in-favor of re-instating the basemacro versus what was updated; which would be my stance as well. I think people fully well understood the Hami and MSR limits and were agreeable to those changes. I hardly recall anyone leaving due to those changes. I think people are well aware that the basemacro was a staff-mechanic and not meant to be used in Live; but after <1.5yrs of the macro being used, it's become a part of Homecoming and more people enjoy using it vs those who don't (which from what I've seen in this thread, make up 3 n less people). If a poll was created to re-instate the basemacro vs keeping as-is; I can guarantee the great majority of CoH player based would be in favor of adding it back in; or even reducing the cooldown time significantly (per realtitanman's suggestion as a manner of meeting middle-ground).
  17. I've teamed with him multiple times, especially during the beginning of the HC itrial runs. Always a positive player, I can not recall one thing negative coming from him. I am glad I was fortunate enough to talk to him a couple times after he shared he was fighting against cancer and before he passed away. /em holdtorch
  18. I heard they ran into a pvper in Sirens Call who was a gun/energy named "Cattle Gun"......and Bovine Avenger was never seen ever again.
  19. If this is the case, I'd argue that any "Who would win?" discussions should only follow the original character creation of the writer/artist who made the character, or been officially approved/acknowledged by the original character creator. Any spin-offs, alternate dimensional, fanart/stories should be excluded from such discussions. What's to stop me, some random Joe, from sending a huge sum to DC comics granting me permission to write my own Superman comic where he is immune to kryptonite, gains true invincibility, and does become god incarnate? In that case, Superman would be indisputable as the winner, but it would be lame for discussion because I wrote a comic strip entirely off-course from the original character design that the creator intended. Same for Goku.
