New Window Names Page at the Wiki... Suggestions?

Yeah, just write it up as a guide, link it, give it an explanation, tell why you did it, etc. You did the legwork on it might as well polish it up and get some lasting credit for it. -

Remove AE buildings from all zones and put them in the Shadow Shard zones. Might not stop ya but it will slow ya down, especially at the furthest points. Someone said PVP zones too, just no pvp inside the buildings. Risk vs reward baby! At this point it really fvcking sucks but gawddamn 5 hrs that's bs. I wish there was another work around that doesn't screw everyone over. Everything we are suggesting, arguing about, etc really doesn't go in this thread and he'll I'm guilty as sin on that account. Maybe let our stuff die off or a GM start a new thread for the testers. BESIDES Is anyone actually testing this in Beta besides @America's Angel?? -

Ok as an avid AFK farmer...5 hours is just fvcking ridiculous even I have an issue with that. It takes me roughly a week to afk a farm to what these people are doing in 5 hours. So if this is the root of the issue then yeah I agree. But, taking vet rewards away are just bad, this not only penalizes farmers but also people playing AE for content. There has to be another solution than taking a hammer to honest farmers and content players. 5 hours...fvck me running thats nuts. -

Exactly with one addition...time. I don't want to get on a team that's going to take however long in a trial or tf. I can hop on do a couple farms and then off again. In addition you are very correct I'm not interested in the story/lore, I don't care. I get on to play, complete the objectives, and get my reward that gets me to my objective as quickly as possible because once again time. How many itrials does it take to get the stuff I need to get to T3 on a build compared to a farm? I'd like to hear the numbers on that. -
Simple enough question, I thought I heard broots had conflicting issues with Rage. Tanks if I wanted to be nigh unstoppable and scrappys I don't think about although stalkers might be viable. Any primaries that have good synergy with Ice?

I agree with this for a variety of reasons. -
Masterminds have wanted changes for years now.

Well in the OP defense I will say I thought there was supposed to be MM fixes/changes coming and was disappointed to not see anything. But, not to that dramatic level. The approach is all wrong though, you'll get no sympathy from the people OP. Although, there is a poster in the general beta section that had some good suggestions. On stuff that would have been better. I would have rather seen more powerset proliferation, fixes, or content other than some of the stuff(vet rewards nerf specifically and new currency for costumes). People have been asking for MM fixes (Mercs), more proliferation/new stuff for awhile. So I can understand that frustration, but, the drama and approach of that post...yeah not so much. -

You should have wrote it up as a guide to go in that section so it can be referenced. Good job though. -

It's all farming regardless, the only thing that changes is the speed in which it's done. AE farming obviously is quicker, itrials are no different other than the time it takes, it's a grind to get what you want. Now ask yourself how many times have you participated in trials, MSR, Hami, etc and run that damn thing as fast as you can to get the rewards? How interesting is it going to be or how much insight are you going to get from having to run the that over and over again? I don't have the time to run itrials for weeks to get what I can get in fire farms. Most of you are mad because there are people who know nothing about the game outside of AE, who cares. When did it become acceptable to tell people how to play the game? If they are happy, not causing damage/disruptive, then what does it matter? Apparently it does to some of you and the devs, they call it exploits and unfair but created the conditions to do so. Why do think people do speed runs all the time? Because, they don't want to have to grind for what they want. You are forcing a time sink on people. If you don't think this is not going to have negative consequences then you're ignorant, look at this thread, how many pages, and how many posts? It far overshadows everything else about this update AND we are only a small part of the population here on the forums. Now go to AE buildings and start telling players what is coming down the pipelines and gauge their responses. Of course from what I've seen a few of you wouldn't care as long as you get your way. -

But, as you collect IXP you level, that's been totally removed? I always thought the ticket ratio was rather low. (Looking at RWZ too, outside of MSR) -

Ok here's a question I'm curious on, what happens to a farmer in AE that's above 50(obviously) so what is the rewards? Just inf and drops? Do you collect xp to unlock all the incarnate stuff ie: destiny, lore, etc or is that gone? If so you just don't level anymore? -
I fixed it for my use, but, I totally get where you're coming from.

I laughed because, I thought it was funny. Your response struck me as something that should be laughed at. I have no other reaction other than to be pissed because, I have zero understanding why the "devs" felt it is was necessary to eliminate vet rewards. I'm not coming off as an asshole towards you, I have mad respect for you and all the stuff you contribute. A component of the way I play is getting removed and it totally destroys my ability to play how I enjoy to play. You posted that and I laughed and thought yeah you can but half out it is now going the way of the dinosaurs. Regardless, of the reasoning (AE babies, Afk farmers, etc) it's shit. Everything right now is conjecture until the "devs" post their diary with whatever reasoning for this. Meanwhile people are going to stew for a bit and stay pissed until it comes out. Hope that came across clearly, no disrespect intended your way. -

I don't have time. I afk farm because I cannot grind itrials/content forever to get the same thing quicker in AE. I have to PL a build, slot them out, and then unlock everything I need to get everything to T3/T4. Then if I get lucky on a toon that I built up I have a few hours Saturday night to run some end game content on my toon. This to me is fun, the idea, the Mids build, the lvling, etc, etc now remove a primary component of how I play and now I cannot do it anymore. While I am a small percentage of the player base, how large is the farming player base that doesn't get on the forums and don't know this is going to hit them? This is the reason why I quit Live because I don't have hours to grind trials/content for what I can farm in AE, which is the only reason I came back to play. -

It's a tie on the amount of broots and tanks I have. I'd take either of those ATs over a scrapper, as a matter of fact I'd take a stalker over a scrapper. Broots are just bashing good fun.

Probably because its easier to get it in the Ms Liberty tf, it's stationary in the TF. If it's in zone there's the risk of failure by it flying off the map. -
If I didn't have access to farms to get the necessary components to get my T3/T4 items, then there would be no way I could do so otherwise. (I only go to T3 anyways) I only have a few hrs to play every week, not the multitude of hours required to run itrials over and over to farm for that stuff. Getting to farm helps that, I go afk alot because of work/life and there's no way I could do that on a itrial. At this point in time if they start changing stuff again that takes away from how I play then it's no longer beneficial to me and then I question why I should play. Really I hardly play anymore, maybe 1-2 nights a week for a couple hours. Farming on the other hand (prior to my graphics card dying), I was on almost 5 nights a week farming, I farm more than I play. But, I digress. I get what you're saying, but, there should be a tiered system in place, if you run these trials it gets you to this point, and then if you run these itrials it gets you to another point. You "level" as you go eventually achieving T4 and then after that some final trials to conclude the whole of it.

Why am I getting the distinct feeling that it's all code for your responses? 🤔 😘

Hey Ghost, I got an idea why don't you quit giving the guy a hard time with shit that doesn't pertain to the thread. Everyone spouts about how great the people are on this forum, but, in reality alot of threads devolve into pissing matches and get locked. Namely because someone wants to get a wild hair up their ass because, of some perceived slight that has occured in their head. So kill the drama already, and go ahead and down thumb this too since really that's your superpower.
