Back on Live my main was a Bots/FF, I leveled this toon to 50 pre-incarnate days which took like 6 months...ugh. BUT, in that time you really get to learn the dynamics of your build, and through various changes over the years (running treespecs for respecs another ugh) I found a build that suited my micromanaging. Now my builds I used them for base raids (lol stupid tanks ya can't touch me), RV, and generalized play. In PVP I found it useful to just plant my fat bubbly ass in a choke point and invoking my inner Gandalf "You shall not pass" worked well and it made me a target because taking a MM into pvp was just inconceivable although my fellow VGmate had a necro/dark that stacked bodies in SC which was fun AND it made him a target because he had some really crazy piss you off macros that he did on dead players it involved tea and bagging and shooting off his wedding confetti...you get the point. Back on track...so when HC came about I was all for making my favorite main but I stopped myself because all those years I never considered rolling anything else...well I did have a SS/FA broot before it was cool. So now literally hundreds of toons later (I delete just as many as I make and yes I only do 50's) I want to make that old MM again and dust his butt off clean him up and give him a fresh coat of paint. So now we have IO's, I dabbled with them on Live but never got really into them...namely because I was broke all the time making different costumes lol. I mess with them a lot now I have 3 bases just full of storage for...well everything. I'm a collector not Benicio del Toro collector but I collect the shineys which is my drive. Its part ebil marketeer part ebil hoarding collector. I do not or hardly ever take attacks, I'm sitting on a cadre of MM's right now and now of them have attacks other than whats in their secondaries although certain debuffs tend to draw the ire of some baddies. So during that time I micromanage, whats the team doing, debuff, heal, position pets for better tactical advantages, buff, etc so in my busy world attacks are just more shizz to put into an already tight schedule and face it with today's steam rolling teams the window of opportunity on what you can do has reduced itself dramatically before everything is dead. Most of the time I just force the mobs into a corner with FB and let the bots and teammates decimate them as they flounder, can't really do that with AV's so its back to a support role and do what I can to keep the heavy hitters and my bots alive (looking at you Reichsman nazi bastard). I pulled up builds on Discord and omg I was like yeah these suck...no ideas and was thinking why did they take all this unnecessary stuff and have like a 26% s/l def??? But they have purples in useless attacks (useless to me) so getting nothing from those I said fudge it and made my own, from what i can remember BUT instead of SO's I now have IO's..huzzah..? I slotted for caps first and foremost get the caps on s/l def and res then after that I slot for everything else. Now some might question why do that when ranged would be better on a ranged pets. Well its simple, I am really aggressive with my pets, so I slot for my survivability first and then everything else because really without the MIND there is no MASTER. I also do not plan for incarnates initially, those abilities should never be a crutch to get your toon where they need to be, they should be an added bonus to a strong build. My build is good def wise then add in the bubbler bots buffs and its golden, rely on you and your pets not other powers that you are not going to have for awhile (unless you PL then well do whatever). On this build though I'm going to take my sweet ass time leveling him and learning it all over again which you should do on some builds because sometimes the trip is better than the destination. I would love a critique/advice whatever on my build it has been a while and as some of you know I usually role chaos masterminds (basically any primary plus /Storm) although /EA is becoming a mucho loved set but with it being a RES set I choose to forego it. Although as I sit here I'm like "damn that might be really tanky fun" shizz freaking altitis. So I just started a patriotic themed SG, and have been on a kick with various ATs of that spectrum, so I'm thinking of doing a Inv/ but the secondary eludes me. Not doing SS or EM thats been played out, maybe TW if something fits the theme but I don't think large swords is the route to go. So I'm at an impasse on what I should go with. Any ideas?

Yeah possibly but, seeing how shy the devs were about superheroes/villains in Marvel, DC, Image, etc i figured it was more that they didn't want to have Thor or Zeus running around and potential lawsuits, legal snarls, etc to contend with. Besides back then during live everyone wasn't as offended about everything.

Definitely don't name him Colossus lol, use a thesaurus for different names if you don't have one. I actually think the skin is called metallic btw.

The well of Mimisbrunnr was the one Odin drank from for wisdom. Yes, furies are from Greek myths but as we've seen sometimes names are different for everyone. The actually gods themselves is what I'm looking for, oh sure there are references but did they just retire, die, never existed thats the question.

So where are they? Do they just not exist in this reality? You'd think that with Cimerora (Greco/Roman), Olympian guard, Shiva, etc that there would be references at least that they exist or did. The Well of Furies good tie in to Odin, Celtic gods to Croatoa, the list goes on. Is this because of Marvel and DC or just never added.

I heard it was a combo of being limbo, re-shoots/scheduling, and the time it came out. Couple with critics immediately panning it for direction ie; is it horror or a superhero movie. So basically a tsunami of negativity. Personally, I like it some things could have been left out or compounded upon ie; Dani and Wolfsbane, character growth, etc. So yeah I could see the re-shoot issues because some areas did feel choppy. The main parts were great though, I thought Magick was great, would have loved to have seen more about them while dealing with a threat. But, too late now as this direction is now dead.

A few reasons, one the secondary is a protection based set for Sent's, two which is a tie, mezz protection and Opportunity. The ability to stay in the fight and keep going is the the highlight that I see that outweighs the blasters ability of high damage. Yes, it is possible to get a moderate amount of protection on a blaster but, at what cost? And which you asked, I do a lot of lower lvl TF/SF so there is the attraction to the AT for that reason. I should have re-read what I typed because even I questioned my motives as to why I posted it in that way. I understand exactly where you are coming from with your post and I appreciate the response and the "hey did you think this through" style.
