No the population is low, most people "can't " play at being a bad guy for a bunch of reasons.
I have only played on redside, 1 time on gold side, and never on blue unless I come over for a task force.
I would say choose a place to start and make your own decision on what side you want to play on. You can always go back and forth.
I thought this happened on live in Atlas dont remember the server and the villains started attacking lowbies.
I thought I either heard about it or remember it, anyone else recall this?
Yes but you grow outside of that to betray them and finally kill Recluse by serving up his head.
He recognizes you as equal and then you surpass him as an Incarnate.
This plus, I'm not really a nice person in rl and it irritates me pretending to be something I'm not.
I could go into in much more detail but ultimately it would detract from your question.
All I know when playing since I don't pay attention to the numbers is that necro/EA is a fun asf good time. Babbage, Reichsman, Scrapyard, etc they hold their own, they can't beat them but they can fight them to a stand still.
You have the answer already, by leveling it up.
That is the sure fire way to learn what works and doesn't work, having a basic understanding of the powersets, and then trial and error.
(Hi all Larkerbunny here, going to take a moment to say I'll see you all later. Rl stuff has started to speed up and working plus the new training is taking a large percentage of my time anymore. You may have noticed but I'm hardly on the game anymore and unfortunately I have to cut some stuff to be able to do other stuff concerning my future in my field. I'll probably be back on this winter it depends on how the classes go.
But I thank you for being an escape from a world more crazy than the Rookery. Take care and much love.)
*waves at everyone and hops down the bunneh hole*
Solo it has to spawn as an AV/Hero, or a GM.
On teams I regularly crank it +4×8, I build my toons to survive so I'm really stringent on my builds and regularly delete fully kitted 50+ toons (after I strip them) if they don't live up to my standards.
Me and a VGmate will regularly go over builds on Mids for hours, he also builds to the same standards and regularly solo TF'S at +4.
