I’d. Take cj, tough/weave. Leadership for maneuvers makes defense a little easier. Can skip first attack and I don’t like the cone on a scrap.

So if you’re an elec/ninjitsu scrap. Will lighting rod now crit when used from hidden?

Yes. Or tank would be good too as resist cap is higher. Scraps get the lighting snipe though so I would stick with scrap

Those will work well. Divine valance will help add defense to the resist based electric.

A billion isn’t much when you play the game for a while. And too often helps too. I only farm to skip lowbies a few levels if I can’t get on a team. I don’t play the market. You get quite a bit from playing the game at 50. Doing an apex/tin and use merits for pieces you need or get stuff to sell. Reuse IOs if you end up not liking a toon. I think a power should only be able to take one damage proc. Would be an easy fix. You can for sure manipulate powers to have high chances to proc. Some people throw a ton of procs when it only has a 47% chance to fire which I don’t fool with. There are a lot of powers you can have a lot of procs with 90% to fire and still be up often with recharge global bonuses and hasten. Still one of the best parts of this game is there are a million ways to play it. You don’t have to have a ton of money to make a good build. I have a perma pa ill/storm that doesn’t have any purples and performs really well. I made a proc tank and it was boring for me. End was awful and would detoggle if not super attentive. I have a proc db/sr that is a blast though. id also make a few powers toggles, PA or light form for example, and get rid of hasten. It’s almost a prerequisite for a lot of builds and certainly required for min/max builds.

I’m liking it finally on a defender. It’s dark/storm. Hopefully new buffs/changes help.

I tried tanker Tuesday a few times. Was slow as fuck. I’d try some all brute tfs. I like doing all X ITFs. Don’t think I’ve done all brute one though. Gonna do all storm blast soon once I settle on a 50 respectively of my storm blast toon.

I'm also messing with a build where I can have flight and combat jumping. Would have to drop another set of course.

After your notes, may go with something like this. Still not final. It looks like I won't really need hailstones at all. I currently have it on bar but don't use it. Slot in Darkest NIght I mean on the accurate to hit debuff.

Well few things after playing a bit more on it. Direct Strike stuns at mag 4 when in Storm Cell. So that stacks with OG. Mids lets you slot accurate tohit debuff sets, but in game it doesn't. I do like chain lightning after trying it. I think I'll end up taking but not even using the T2 attack. Might mess with build not chasing perma hasten.

I haven't tried out the chain yet. I'm gonna give dark/dark a try before I settle on dark/storm. The dark/storm is at 45 now. I find the dark/ part fun. I'm getting kinda tired of the /storm part. I really want to like it. Maybe it is better suited for a blaster or a sentinel with a passive secondary. Took Oppressive Gloom more for theme than anything. I'd definitely slot up more -to hit into darkest night though. I'd never take tough and not toggle it on unless it's over cap. The difference between 50% resist and 75% is taking twice as much damage from the most common type. I do a lot of ITFs too so its mostly that and coincidently enough dark which just happen to fit.

Hello again. Made a dark/storm. Love it. Lots of fun. Dark Mastery is for thematic reasons. I might wanna try out new T5 power but don't really need another ranged power anyway. I love glue arrow and would fit as well. I’m gonna play at least the primary regardless, but even as a lotg mule I don’t want the cloak. Might be cool for a predator homage though.

I’ve done an all heat and then an all veat too. Don’t specify pb so some ws too. Heat was fun but nothing special. All veat was killer. Soooooo many buffs.

I like it. My random all scrapper or all beam rifle type ITFs will get a badge more than likely. I’m also looking forward to “all assault rifle” ITFs being a bit more diverse once everyone gets new set to 50. I know this isn’t about the aether being removed but I’m glad it was.

So many of the maps are just so dark. I can’t see shit most of the time. Might only be a few maps but damn when they come up it’s just too dark.

I had an ice/bio. I couldn’t get the bio part to work with theme. You can minimize a lot of bio but not all. Ice/shield is cool as there is an option for a shield made out of ice. My current scrap is ice/sr. Still has ice patch but don’t even close to need it. I use it some here and there. I like the swords though.
