  1. TW in general and top end PvE content, I can see it being bad in PvP.... but yeah
  2. I dont think so, energy blast arguably has tons of control as does Ice Blast already.
  3. TW is a step above other melee sets in most every test thrown at it.
  4. We're way more powerful now than ever, whatchu talkin bout? ED? Look, the reality is that we cannot simply continue to buff everything else you get Syndrome.... syndrome. If every melee set performs just as well as TW (which I among others have proven) then the game gets broken / or at a more menial level powersets just become aesthetic choices.
  5. Honestly, you do lose out a lot on raw enhancements + set bonuses chasing a ton of procs. Vice versa you lose out if you exclude them.
  6. I'd totally be down! A slower, heavy hitter set with tons of knock up and control / big hits, but not very dps-y.
  7. As somebody who is responsible for an odyssey long epic thread about nerfing TW by a hair, I agree that buffs should be dealt first and foremost. If nerfs do happen, even to TW, I would much rather also see it buffed in kind to shift the power rather than take away.
  8. This is a tricky subject, as on the flipside I think it is a refreshing meta-metagame diversion to want to build totally, radically different from the norm in order to utilize procs as well!

  11. 100% agree that more themes would be great, but on top of this I think having alternate pets in terms of what they do would be rad: Pet A: Oni - Magic based Ninja Demon with fire powers Pet B: Shogun - More natural ninja boss with armor and dual blades, use existing Samurai Armor assets Pet A: Lich - Magic based Zombie Wizard Pet B: Abomination - More sci-fi style Monster Zombie Boss, use existing Horror Zombie assets. Pet A: Protector Bots - Defensive Tier 2 Pets Pet B: Assassin Droids - Offensive T2 pets, could use some existing bot models scaled down, or color them red idk lol
  12. I hear you, just think I misread it at first 🙂 Customization would be awesome, but going 1 step further to actually having Pet A vs Pet B to boost the total MM combos without needing 100% new sets could be really fun.
  13. Right, but this goes a step beyond where the sets could well be clones of each other except for a different pet. That or the alt choice mechanic that Sentinel SR has, but iirc that idea has been abandoned.

Just a stray thought when thinking about the Ninjas specifically, itd be cool if there were an "alternate ninja" which had its final pet be a "Shogun" samurai with dual blades / archery instead of an Oni. A zombie horde that had less magic influence as well, using the Halloween event zombies with minimal changes. I know altering or adding in new MM primaries is tough to say the least, but recycling sets with bare minimum changes could be something to chew on. Thoughts?

  19. Spitballing.... what about Reverse Scourge? The more End a target has, the more "Electric Feedback" they receive when struck by electrical abilities. Essentially a bonus amount of energy damage that either scales directly or the chance to occur scales directly off of target endurance. When it procs, you deal extra electrical damage and end drain but as you continue to drain and make the fight safer this effect diminishes?
  20. I don't see why not! In fact, if Rage were axed to 1/2 values but was still allowed to stack and had no crash, + Bruising I think it could actually be in an awesome spot... Maybe add AoE "Better Bruising" to Hand Clap for more utility?
  21. I think this would be nice specifically to give people a bit of wiggle-room between when you do fully drain and when the enemy regains a tick of endurance. Instead of being able to attack immediately, the enemy is still slept / stunned and gives you bonus reward for managing to fully drain. The scourge effect is nice too 😉

I didn't, I just theoretically nerfed Rage to be 1/2 it's current power (80% damage -> 40% damage), and then looked at what adjustments would need to happen to make SS perform essentially the same with that nerf. Of course, such a nerf would probably also get rid of the crash I'd imagine to balance it out 😉 The options then would be to increase the recharge of the SS attacks by about 30% in order to roughly match the current damage output per hit with the 1/2 rage, or to apply "Bruising" which conveniently matches the old Tanker amount of -20% res when you hit with an SS attack. Or something in between!
  23. The difference here is that Dark Melee does not have KO Blow and Footstomp
  24. I agree that what Regen really, truly needs if we were only allowed "1 thing" is to allow you to fight off debuffs. If it had a ton of Debuff Resists that stacked up per power you could "feel" like (Wolverine) in that you constantly are at peak performance both Health and Status-wise.
