Great! Just great. Now I need to get Stan and Ollie involved and you truly don't want to see those two pissed off.

Focused Feedback: Various Power Updates

Across the board? Please don't say across the board as in also removed from Beta Decay. I know that you all noted in the notes that Positron Cell (referred to as Proton Cell in the notes) was just mis-identified. But right now it still says -ToHit on Beta Decay. -
Why is the PI trainer so furious?

Such a lost opportunity for product placement.

What? Seriously. What?

I have a Storm/Atomic Blaster. I love her and she is fun but the secondary is not as much of a helper monkey that I thought it would be. Still leveling her through so there ya go.

No shit and its not even true, Storm Blast is awesome once you learn its mechanics and play them. But maybe people should hop over to the test server and see how the NUMEROUS changes that were made to Storm Blast affect their play.

PPD Equalizers, Arachnos Huntsmen, Longbow Nullifiers and Spec-Ops, Malta Group just to name a few in game who use suppression rounds from guns. Firing target suppression rounds from a rifle-like weapon is not only a no brainier but the norm. With the exception of the ports of tranq and cryo freeze ray (and its terrible lingering muzzle glow) it's awesome. People have asked for grenades or grenade launchers and now we have them . . . Military M32 MSGL FN 303 By the way, I got to shoot cans from the M32 when I was in the navy for SSDF school, fun as hell, almost as fun as firing Thumper and a Ma-Deuce. Tingles. -

These are valid points. Still Fun. Except for the barrel glow from Cryo Freeze Ray. Ick. -

Focused Feedback: Arsenal Control

ZOMG I am totally putting a ring on Gun Drone's finger. Again on the ARS/ARS Dominator. Testing in Brickstown at level 30 with regular IOs in the slots. Solos real well, taking +3 mobs well. Recharge seems balanced on the powers and was able to get myself out of a couple "punching way above my weight class" jams +5 with layered application of powers and gun drone; didn't have to run away (not saying it wasn't close). But Gun Drone, yeah its effing phenom. The Sleep pulse on Sleep Grenade is frequent enough so even when I am putting the 12 gauge on a group or the Gun drone is spraying, the sleepers are going back to sleep. Only used Dom once and that was just to refresh the blue bar. Testing continues though I al probably gonna switch back tot he Crontroller side to see how that works at higher levels. -
Regardless of AT, they all start Blue (except the one all the way Red and one as far as possible without grinding Gold). I do not farm or use XP boosters (you do you mate, no worries) 1. Tutorial 2. Visit P2W for goodies (unless I actually got them in the Tutorial, I always seem to forget you can). 2. Hashaby Arc while also talking to the respective Origin contact in City Hall. Work their missions usually gets me to 6 maybe 7. 3. While doing those, get al Atlas Badges and go to Ouroboros so my transport options are improved. 4. Kings Row Scanner and Safeguard to get Jet Pack 5. A single DFB run for Badges and buff most needed by the AT playing. This usually puts me at or over 10, if not I try to trick Tony Kord into giving me Negotiator. 6. Off to Steel Canyon. Do Montague's Arc to open the Midnight Club. Do the Crafting Tutorial (even if the crafted item is essentially useless). Also doing radios to get KR Safeguard. When done, almost always at 15. From here its catching Task Forces, doing Spelunker and the Requisite Plaque for Atlas. Posi 1 and two plus Synapse while doing radio for Skyway Safeguard and soon I am 20 at a minimum. Form there is when individual flavor and action begin; no pattern. But to 20, almost always the same.

Yeah, so testing the Dominator I altered my camera view to get a better look at the Beam of the Cryo Freez doodle. Yeah, hate it more. But please if everyone is set on the beam please, remove the lingering muzzle glow, or at least make it go away when another attack is triggered. -

Yep, reapplied. Just saw it on the test run I am doing on the ARS/ARS Dom. -

Gravity in the Movement section of Combat attributes? Interesting. I didn't see it anywhere in the various power updates notes. Moon! Zero Two! -
Focused Feedback: Sheathed/Holstered/Custom Weapons
High_Beam replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Well I wanted holstered pistols and I got hip attached pistols. I will take what I can get. Options are good to have and on my non-dual holster belt people it will work. Draw animations clear it from the hip so awesome. Didn't see any delay in the render/de-render time. Bravo and thanks. -

Now I am going to be in the minority here but I say lean fully into the AoE here. As others have said, swap out the ST Tranq for an AoE immob. Grenades by design are not clean weapons; they splash and scatter. Grenadiers are there for the purpose of infantry suppression and to aid the rest of a fire team to maneuver. Let this new power set flourish as just that. The problem with sleep that everyone points to is that it is rendered moot on a team or when damage is applied. If the sleep reapplies (like with Static Field) then its totally workable, especially if you add the AoE immob. Just give em a Wide area Web Grenade so it can be applied between Liquid Nitrogen. But even if the sleep power is rendered no sleep, SO WHAT! Let a new set be a new set, not a full copy. And lets add the two cryo/freeze doodle powers. You are hosing them down like a cone from flamethrower (animation recycle?) but laying a circular patch (Liquid Nitrogen). Change that to a grenade. No Spray! Cryo Freeze Ray, again, call it a Cryo Slug or something. I repeat - Do not like the Cryo Freeze Ray animation. Should be a grenade like the rest. If not then please remove the lingering icy glow on the barrel. Not a good look. Lingers when other powers fire. I tested with traps as a secondary knowing that Acid mortar was going to negate sleep at times. Did this for about an an hour at level 20, leaning mostly into all of the primaries (less tear gas and gun drone) and running around Talos aggroing +2/+3 small clusters solo (3 minion or 1 Lt 2 minion). Initially done with ZERO enhancements slotted and used ZERO inspiration. Attack chain was relatively good (endurance of course) but I was able to avoid death taking out trios of +3 minions (warrior, Tsoo). Judicially cycling sleep, Liquid Nitro and Disorient then working the held target down got it done. I imagine on a Dom the kill speed will accelerate, will be testing later. Recharge reduction was added a little later which took the danger edge off the attack chain. -

Also, for some reason Hat Detail 2 causes the display to zoom back out and you cannot zoom in unlike Hat Detail 1. -
I am pleased with the look and feel of the new berets and ACH helmets. It definitely adds additional options to military themed characters. I also appreciate the proper "bun" of hair on the female berets; mil reg represent. Love the PPD SWAT patch. I think there are too many Special Forces Group badges mixed in there when other generic logos could be fit in place (even to units that don't wear berets); Marine Raiders, MRF from Vietnam, etc. But I would really like to see added is a O-6 (Bird) (Navy Captain, Colonel in all other services) . Color changes can be used to differ 0-1/O-2 (Ensign/1st LT Navy and whatever the other services call them 🙂) as well as O-4/O-5 LCDR/CDR (Navy), MAJ/LTC (All others). But that is just nit picking. The Cybil costumes give me some ideas for a number of toons. Like.

WB Fade, Its High Beam. As I said when we chatted in game, there are a couple other Babes of War on Excelsior that I know of. Libbyator, Sweet Dream, and Xai Cross I have actually talked to in game.
