I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis back in November of 2014 but I am plugging along, trying my best to not let it get the better of me. Busy with school, I went back last year and I have been pulling a full load every quarter, including summer sessions. Happy to have CoH back but I have barely any time to play. Especially since I have 3 papers due in a few weeks. Ugh. But I am glad you have been well all these years.

Since Carnies are just mind puppets, the Nemesis is just a bunch of robots, and Council/5th Column are a bunch of fascists. Next there is the gangs, Hellions mixed up with the occult, Skulls are a bunch of nihilists, the Outcasts are just that outcasts of their own choosing, and the Freakshow are just anarchists. Circle of Thorns? screw those maps of Oranbenga, that right there is enough to make you want to kill yourself. I would say I would start with the Warriors, I like the Greek literature references then I would get in with the Skyraiders, then get picked up by Malta but work, undercover for Malta, for Crey….in the complaints department. :D

Same here, my targeting drone is 3 slotted with to-hits. If I remember correctly I had insta snipe when I chose targeting drone with no slots.

I recreated my main, a AR/Dev and I have him at 34 right now. I am just enjoying the game and the altitis. I also recreated his wife and made her a blueside MM merc/ff and I have her at 24 or 25. All the alts are right in the teens or single digits. I mainly play my main or the wife.

49 Here. CoH was my first MMO. Before I played this game I swore I would never pay a month fee to play a game I physically bought. CO was next, and I got bored with that fast. I think I made it to level 10 before I uninstalled the game. DCUO was meh. I liked running up the buildings, that is what sticks with me with that game. Made it to like the mid teens before it was uninstalled. SWTOR I played for a good year, almost made it to level cap on all the alts, almost finished all the story arcs. Got bored. Uninstall. Rift was play for a few months and that was it. Once more uninstall. Various others that I can't remember.

The only thing I can see is the time that the population was sampled. Taking a snapshot of the servers when it is at the slowest time is not a accurate predictor of the health of the game. Wow...just Wow...If Champions can still be online with that little support, it's still hard to believe that NCSoft ever pulled the plug on this...

What level are you at for one thing. Higher levels, in my experience, the mobs get a major hate-on for blasters. Mid-20s to lower 30s blasters are easy. After that point, everything starts resisting the damage types. As far as support classes it has been so long since I played support I couldn't give any advise other than pick one with powersets that you will enjoy....duh...I know. As far as melee goes, I like scrappers, you can tank with one and it is fun, managing aggro, killing the mobs before they get a chance to drop you.

Back when you could 6 slot for damage in AR/Dev. Back when inspirations didn't combine to make other ones, so what was dropped it what you got.

The timed missions I have had, you couldn't autocomplete, just abandon the mission which doesn't clear it from the mission list.

AR/Dev...That Frankenstein gun*shivers*. Lethal damage, most resisted type of damage in the game. Don't get Flamethrower until late teens so you get something other than Lethal and of course it is a narrow cone and has craptastic accuracy. Then caltrops is required for the tripmine to fire off since it keeps the mob close enough to trigger the mine. Only benefit is beanbag and taser, with those two you can mez a boss as long as you don't miss with one. I believe TD was nerfed like i23 or i24 so it didn't provide the accuracy it use to, making slotting accuracy in the powers now. At least until you have IO sets installed in the powers.

Well we do have the Devouring Earth that we arrest so a bee? Not that much of a stretch.

My old main is the first thing I created. Just updated his back option on the costume with a pair tanks to power the flamethrower. I made a bunch of alts of the main with different blaster powersets and different costumes...just for the hell of it. I made his wife and a bunch of alts of her too. I focus on one for a set amount of levels then it is on to the next one. Rinse and repeat.
