  3. While I don't disagree with your point, searching and replacing 'He' with 'They' is trivial. With what we saw with the 'Shocking' power name, a change is likely, what would you like it to be? I'm an asshole and even I know this isn't worth lacing up over.

  8. I ran the Who Will Die arcs over the weekend. A couple notes Stances are pretty fun. Combat Jumping + Super Jump doesn't feel right. Not sure if there is more control while going faster but it just didn't feel right. I stopped using both at the same time. Wish that wasn't the case. Power sets are feeling a bit herky jerky rather than being buttery smooth. Not sure if this is fiddling with animation times but some sets are noticeably less smooth. Hard to describe. Thumb tacks are a nice addition.
  9. I get what you are saying and we all appreciate being able to play and the overall efforts of Homecoming. That said, they have clearly indicated they listen to what the community is saying and take action in part based on what is being said. If we like something we should speak up, the opposite is also at play. That's how the HC team has set the table we enjoy.

  12. Come on.. just stop posting if can't be nice. and no, not everyone understood. ..at that point, only one poster {me}, mentioned scrappers snipes. Tidge was specific about blaster snipes while Grinding was non-specific. You are stating we need to re-read and trolling.. a glance in the mirror might reveal who needs what. My first words were "Lots of amazesauce in page 2. LOTS. Plenty to like."
  13. Folks attempt to stomp on reports of issues or potential issues. Spending time to try stuff out and put words down only to have it deleted / moderated or find out "it's been decided" is very poor. There's always some yahoo saying "this is prefect, push it to production today" who proceeds to then argue with anyone who is not in agreement. There are some who do excellent for the community @Myrmidon @Galaxy Brain @Bopper and others. There is an equal number of the opposite. I'll leave it there.
  14. Don't take what I said as bagging on the work that was done. There was a big list of accomplishments. My comment was in regards to hurrying / schedule on travel powers which impact every character. It is a numbers thing: There's going to be bugs/issues. The more changes the more chances. Regarding testing & Beta, tried it and was more grief than it was worth. Between know-it-alls and coolaid drinkers, it's a terrible experience.

  16. These should stack. That's what was being sold with the changes. If they don't stack for travel powers why wouldn't they? It is unimaginable why they wouldn't stack. Does jumping a little higher break something.. no it does not. Sprint + Super Speed stacks, doesn't it? Swift + Sprint + Super Speed stacks, doesn't it? but Combat Jumping + Super Jump doesn't.. it's wildly inconsistent with 'they now stack' Gain = increase the amount or rate of (something, typically weight or speed).
  17. Isn't this what beta was for? Seems like these changes were rushed. I would like to use stronger language but don't want to get moderated. Most characters have a travel power. Extra scrutiny and going slow.. hindsight.

  23. There are examples of less usable/effective. Maybe not all are effected equally. From another player: "there's no visible indication that your stealth has been suppressed." "At 33 or 55 (or whatever the numbers are), visual effect is the old stealth translucent. With invisibility, if you do something that suppresses it or you get hit with splash from an attack, you go from invisible to "oops there I am". That aspect got me killed several times yesterday, that I didn't realize I was visible. It's also an issue where "I've activated stealth and start sprinting through the base - but the full stealth hasn't kicked in yet so I'm dead" (at the time, of course, I had no clue that I needed to wait 10 seconds after activating the power)" Afterburner was formerly a toggle, it is now a 30 sec power with a 60 sec recharge. (why is the one minute recharge necessary?.. PvP is the only thing I can think of) Afterburner had defense removed, added to another power, which will never have the same level of defense available in combat. From HC Team: "Leadership will suppress the out-of-combat defence component if it hits an allied entity"
  24. Awww so cute. It's confusing to these players why anyone could have a problem with one or two of the changes..
