It was having 12 to 15 fulcrum shifted fire imps that made them so popular. When they got limited to only 3 you can imagine how much of a nerf that would have felt like. They are still popular but doing 1/5 of the damage, from the imps anyway.

If you arent getting the power back then you may need a GM to grant it to you while ingame. Use menu -> support while you are ingame. Possibly the homecoming discord can get you in touch with a GM as well.

If you abandon the quest then accept it again you should be given the temp power again.

It would be amazing if we could use the inner tube while using fly in the water. Then we could use the fly down button with the camera properly tilted to move around in the water with the tube.

I have a different method in mind. I dont get home for a few more hours though. And it probably wont work but it will be fun if it does.
Edit: it works for other emotes but didnt for this one. the tubes will stay anchored for the time being.

I could go for some super senses and super personality pool powers. Anything that offers me the eventual opportunity to troll my friends.

More specifically, i can run a scrapper with no taunt aura at 'full power' and not be taunting enemies. Ill sometimes turn the bio armor taunt aura off for certain teams.

My best guess would be that they became the default red side tanks before everything got blendered with going rogue so they are still being given the tank treatment.

Hmmm, it may be possible to move around while in the tube. Ill have to get on the test server when im home.

I like that some scrapper secondaries have a taunt aura and that some dont. It gives me a little more variance in gameplay. But i started the topic about if you prefer power sets to be the same or different and this would make them the same so im probably biased on this topic.

ive never tried dual blades, partly because i didnt want to learn and manage combos. but now that i have a few more hours (months) of CoH under my belt i may give it a go. my guess is the combo building melee sets are the most different feel when it comes to melee.

The AH seems to be limited by how much it can do at once. Try to collect all inf from a bunch of different sales and it says you are trying to do too much and wait awhile. Im not sure if the AH can handle stacks of more then 10 reliably. Ive collected 4 enhancements that i purchased 6 times when the AH was lagging. Then i sold the extra 2 i ended up with. I also posted 2 EoE for 39 million each with the help of a bit of AH lag, they still havent sold.

When you are choosing a power set for a new character, many of them are fairly similar. Blast for example has a small shot, medium shot, big shot, snipe, aim, AoE and a nuke on many of its choices. Melee and control have their own pattern that is mostly followed.
Then there are several power sets that clearly dont follow the pattern. Illusion control and ice blast are the first that come to mind for me and there are others as well.
So my question for you is do you like power sets that stand out as unique or wish they were more similar to other sets for that type?
Personally, i like having power sets available that have something different to offer. Ice blast doesnt have a snipe or a nuke but it has a pair of holds and a pair of rain powers. Illusion control is so different from other controls its probably quicker to say what it has the same...the T9 is a pet summon.
Im always happy to see new powers and power sets but im especially happy when they dont follow the 'traditional' format.

Sometimes i wish i had the bonuses from a different set in the same category but not from a totally different category. Like the end mod set that has damage but with the bonuses from a different end mod set. But i just go with whats available and make some characters with super builds and some with less then optimal builds.
....i hate respeccing, i mostly go with less then optimal builds.

Scrappers get crit, tanks get gauntlet, brutes get fury. There is a pool power that has an AoE taunt for everyone that wants it. If we were giving them a portion of another ATs inherent then why stop at tanks? Give scrappers 25% scourge, 10% domination, 15% defiance and some supremacy, why not.
Alternatively, a few of the armor sets have a taunt aura. Bio armor has taunt aura on scrappers. But i heard no new armors going forward will have taunt aura for scrappers so what they have is all they will get.

The temperature is starting to fall and Positron is bald. He should put his helmet back on to keep his head warm. When it warms up he should keep his helmet on to protect his noggin from a sunburn.

Very well presented. And while i dont expect this to happen either, there are alot of good ideas in here for the devs to consider. And if they do decide to revamp hazard zones, you may be suprised at how much may come from this idea. And dont let likelyhood of implementation stop you from suggesting more zone revamps. The people want part 2.

I love me some good old fashioned knockback. Enhance it over 9000, knock them back to the moon. The map is only clear if they were knocked clean out of it. The floor is lava and you are saving their lives. Up, up and away. Its a bird, its a plane, no its a hellion hit by mag 50 knockback. Time a knockback with a friend using the baseball bat.

I believe the ouro crystal has contacts sorted by the max level the mission can be done at. The pilgrim is in the lvl 50 section even though you can do his mission at much lower levels. And it is repeatable. Did it a few days ago through the crystal and there were hundreds of infected in there.

You are correct that we dont have hard data numbers but not having the numbers doesnt mean that we cant come to a conclusion based on our experiences.
Altoholics will alt and gear up their characters. If they get to skip leveling then the portion of their gameplay where they can contribute to the economy is removed. They will mostly be an enhancement drain on the market then make another 50 and drain it some more. Marketeering would be the only way to accumulate inf fast enough to sustain this and would further drain the market.
Those like myself will probably use the free 50 on occasion. While leveling another toon there will be some point when i decide i could just be 50 already and skip this. The toons i play the least are the ones i powerleveled to 50 so i dont farm anymore. Taking away the feeling that i earned it would eventually drive me to quit playing the game.
I absolutely could be wrong, but i feel this would be a likely outcome. Ill also just go ahead and say im against free lvl 50 for no reason if thats preferred.

It would destroy the economy to have instant 50s. Demand for enhancements would outpace supply and prices would skyrocket. As you said, Cake exists for this purpose. Homecoming is meant to have a live server feel.
