Shouldn't Galaxy City be a hazard zone by now?
mistagoat replied to Random Axis's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
As long as this has no effect on the echo version of the zone, I'm on board. It would be fun to fight high level stuff in what was once the starter zone! -
That sounds like fun! Wonder if its possible to put skull costumes on all the enemies for a weekend. Like you would still be fighting Malta or CoT but they would all look like skulls. Maybe the Nemesis have supplied all the other groups with the costumes to sow discord since everything is a Nem plot! Oh and maybe a Bone Daddy giant monster zone event!

Gender Equality!! MM Thugs/Zombies/Merc/Ninja
mistagoat replied to MidnightCry's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Not a sentence I expected to read today! OP, I'm on board for randomly gendered henchfolk. -
Oh dang! Thats a shame, was an interesting idea. What if it applied a costume change to the target in the vein of the arachnos costume temp power that players get in the Faultline arc that makes all the other arachnos non-hostile to the player when its activated? I'm assuming that it applies a non-hostile flag to the player, could the reverse be done? (disclaimer: I may be wildly misunderstanding how that temp power achieves its effect.)

OP, my apologies if I'm goatsplaing something you already know but ALL the PVP sets are PVE sets that can be used by PVE players in PVE zones, they just get different bonuses in PVP zones. This is why they keep getting brought up, PVP sets are extremely similar to purple sets in function and enhancement value. From my perspective (a vehemently anti-pvp player) they are essentially equivalent. Basically every enhancement set in the entire game is a PVE enhancement set. and there is a small subset of those enhancement sets that have alternate bonuses that only apply in pvp zones. Again, my apologies if I've misunderstood, it just seemed like there was bit of disconnect going on in this thread.

It sounds like this would be single target. You hit one "villain" with it and he becomes a "hero" and then all his villain buddies go "oh snap! Where did that hero come from? Git em!" for a few seconds.

I kinda love this one! I could see a solo troller using this to great effect on spawns that are really spread out. Fire this off, get them to gather on it and then unleash all your AoEs. Yes please!

While I don't really feel like this is a hole in great need of filling, I wouldn't be opposed to such a thing. However, it would really come down to the specific values/procs/bonuses.

Is there anything in this game that you like?

Tourist Civilian in Ouroboros
mistagoat replied to Ridiculous Girl's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Lol, user name checks out, what a goofy suggestion! This sounds fun, I'm on board! -
Disabling that pop-up bar is the first thing I do on EVERY new toon I make, I hate it with the passion of 1 billion exploding suns. I can't support anything that would make more use of that obtrusive monstrosity.

Sending Yourself INF after Issue 28 - An Open Question
mistagoat replied to archaelia's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I just leave an email (from main account) in my inbox and have my farmer (from secondary account) reply to it with 25 mill and have the newbie (on main account) claim it and delete that email so I don't clutter up my email with empty stuff. That's enough inf for all the P2W teleports and powers and buffs for a newbie toon. It doesn't feel cumbersome to me but if you've been doing it differently for a long time I can see how this would be frustrating. -
Training Options: Powers vs Enhancement Slots
mistagoat replied to Perma-Newbie's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I don't dislike this idea but I'm also perfectly content with the current system and don't think is is in need of revision. If it were an easy change to make and didn't eat much dev time I'd support it to expand options. Probably, like Biostem said, for 35+ toons. -
I guess I assumed that the current in game ceiling for a given stat would still be the ceiling at the full extension of the slider because I can't see everything getting rebalanced around this. That stat would go down until it hits the center and then it would start enhancing the other stat to it's ceiling. It's all hypothetical though so you may be correct.

Big troller fan myself! There are a few pets that I think could do with some extra durability, namely imps and gremlins. They do feel pretty squishy. Though pets like Rocky and the Snowman are plenty tough and the Tri-cannon is the tankiest troller pet to ever tank for a troller (had one with spirit ward tank Jurassik for me recently). So there is some room for improvement there but it would probably need to be specifically directed rather than a blanket buff. As for more damage in epics and more acc in aoe immob, well I certainly wouldn't turn it down but I also don't really feel like its in a bad place. Is there a specific power that feels off to you?

While I agree that would be wonderful, I don't think the code allows for such a thing.

Focused Feedback: Marine Affinity
mistagoat replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Ya know, I hadn't checked out the water only option until you mentioned it but yeah, that looks great and for whatever goofy reason a giant water bubble following me around makes perfect sense! Absolutely love the hermit crab concept too, I'd use that in a heartbeat! -

Yeah, thats true. Maybe we can give the reef legs? Strangely, within this world, I'm more apt to believe that a reef could grow legs and follow me around rather than sliding along the ground sans any ambulatory appendages. It's a small detail and it won't affect my enjoyment of set either way, just pickin nits. Anyway, I got my Beast/MA up to low 30s so I've unlocked all the MA powers. Shoal Rush and Brine seem to be only potentially skippable powers, not that they feel bad but the rest of the powers just seem far more valuable. Good to have a couple powers that are on the bubble for the builds where power picks are super tight. I don't have any scientific details or numerical breakdowns to offer but I can say that it feels good and offers a comparable leveling experience to other similar sets. I have been playing with a buddy (MA/Fire Def) and we've duo'd everything so far so that may skew my perspective but that's also how we play on live and the experience feels comparable. Feels based data is probably not super helpful but figured it couldn't hurt to mention. -
Focused Feedback: Pocket D Friend - Blarf
mistagoat replied to The Curator's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Played with Blarf last night. He's a fun lil' weirdo! Everything seemed to be working as intended. Gift timer was working and he killed/ate me after a bunch of clicks/messages and I received the badge. -

Barrier Reef - Overall I really like this power and I like that it follows you. However, it feels odd that a reef is mobile and sentient enough to follow me. I'm sure it's too late to change anything but making it something like a sea turtle or a big crab or a Gary would make much more sense to me. -

Violet Block mode (regular and mini) are coming up white both in game and in the tailor interface. Perhaps this is intended but for Undefined Mode (regular and mini), the preview in the tailor interface does not match the in-game result where elements of my original costume are still present. -

Played 1-14 last night with a buddy. He was Archery/Marine Corr, I was Beast/Marine MM. Street sweeping to 5 and then +2 Hollows to Frostfire. -We both took Soothing as our fist Marine power and were very happy with it. I wouldn't typically enjoy a cone heal but this one also hits the caster and enemies caught in it take a damage debuff so thumbs up from me! The debuff wasn't huge but every little bit helps. -Then we both took Toroidal, love this power! When we stacked them we had 55+ s/l resist al lvl 7.. If they didn't get stacked we were around %30 each, still not too shabby but not the near invincibility of 55+ at that level.. This allowed us to play pretty aggressively. Oh and it's perma out of the box, love it! -Whitecap is freekin awesome! I'm fine with the tp to enemy it currently has but a tp to location would absolutely be preferable just for the additional flexibility it brings. I need a tank armor set that incorporates this power with better damage!! That's all the Marine powers we tested so far. At this point we jump leveled up to 20 and will start there tomorrow with a couple more Marine powers to test. So far we've having fun and the powers we've messed with have felt impactful and useful. I think my buddy's gonna swap to a defender with a pbaoe nuke in it's blast set to make use of the whitecap nuke delivery system. That sounds like fun, wonder if it's better on a Def or a Corr. -
I wouldn't want to go back to no aggro limit full time however I could probably get on board with a no aggro limit weekend event or something similarly limited. I do, however, doubt that the devs would deem this worthy of their limited time though.
