Got my Sonic/SR scrap up to about 40 last night. Im running duo with a buddy on a Sonic/Electric Brute. We have both mostly stopped using Attune on anything less than a boss. It's just not worh it if its not a hard target. That being said, when we do encounter hard targets, Sonic seems pretty good at melting them. We ripped through Hopkins in record time last night! We're going to try him again tonight at a higher diff to see if it still does well. Outside of those hard targets, its pretty mediocre at mobing. I like the speed of the clap and the pbaoe and they can do some decent work but they are the lower damage higher recharge type of powers and they don't feel very strong so it feels lacking in aoe. I like the interaction of Attune and Strident Echo. All those DOTs are pretty nice on a boss+. I like the speed of the whole set, both recharge and activation. It feels fast like claws. I can make an aoe chain from Clap, pbaoe (forgot the name), Clap, Earsplitter, repeat. Clap can essentially be used every other attack. Attune is undercooked. It seems like its supposed to be the cornerstone of the set but its so clunky it's just not getting much use. I currently have it 6 slotted but if I were to respec i think id give it 1-3 slots max. I'll get it to 50 but i dont expect it'll get much playtime after that unless some big tweaks are made.

While we're at it, how about making its activation time equal to TT?

So I did a very unscientific test with my Seismic Corr. When I make a big toon I always give them a tiny version to make it easier to get through tight caves so I already a big and little version of the toon. I captured right after the moment of impact. I didn't ask for Sonic to be as good as Axe nor did I offer any opinion on the set. I can't test in a vacuum, I need a know quantity to compare it to. I'd encourage you to perform your own tests if you don't see the value in mine.

I love this list and have saved it to reference in the future, I had forgotten all about Recovery Serum! Thank you! I'd also add, Do the lvl 30-35 Talos Bank/Safeguard mission for a +End bonus!

As far as I know there is no universally understood deeper meaning to the slap emote. Maybe someone just learned of its existence and wanted to play with it or maybe it was RPer with an elaborate story playing out and you just happened to be nearby and got used as a prop.* Lots of possibilities but I doubt there was any deep meaning to it. *I don't RP so that might not even be a thing.

I duo'd the best Synapse ever last night! I was a Rad/Mace Tank, buddy was a Fire/Sonic Blaster, neither of us have any KB/KD so I just balled em up and he burned them down. We ran at +2x8 and got ourselves a mountain of xp! I think we got 5 or 6 levels and it was a breeze. I usually avoid Synapse because it's so tedious but we had the secrete sauce last night! Great run!

One day I started a new toon, got into the game and told my buddy what I was going to be playing. Then my buddy said, "wait, don't you already have one of those?" I said no don't be ridiculous, then I checked and sure enough I already had one. I started a spreadsheet the next day!😆 I'd be happy to share my spreadsheet so you could save a copy and replace my toons with yours if you'd like, it'll add up your toons by AT and grand total.

Fair but I find the set bonuses to be more valuable at those low levels, especially the ATO bonuses. Plus then I'm not spending inf on upgrading SOs or having SOs go red in the middle of a mission and not noticing. Personally, if all Set IOs went down to level 10, I'd probably never buy another SO. I'm not suggesting that I do it "correctly" or anything, that's just how I like to slot.

When I see an Ada announcement, I head to DA and broadcast 1 time "Here for Ada if there's a team". If I get an invite, great! If not, no hard feelings. I already know where and when it will spawn, I don't really need a team, I just gotta get a couple hits in. Though I don't think I've ever gone there with a level 4. I do not believe the player who announces Ada has any obligation to form a team/league.

Heres the one that drives me crazy, why can I slot every Regular or PVP enhancer at level 7 but ATOs are not slottable until 10??? Nothing game breaking but it's a minor frustration! The sets that start at 30 are the ones that annoy me most, feels like I have to wait forever to slot those dam Oblits! Oh and the Snipe set that starts at 35!!! C'mon Gitdafukouttaherewitdatbullshi! So yeah, run them all down to 10, that would be wonderful!

Defenders and HEATs I don't dislike fenders I just prefer their Corruptor cousins. I have lots of issues with HEATs but maybe one day.

I certainly understand the logic but I enjoy that bit of fluctuation. I'm fine with the TFs being normalized but I'd prefer that variance be kept in normal missions.

I use this one, it's easy to set up and use and Sythlin is is pretty responsive if you run into an issue.

I have 3 Ice Armor Scraps and an Ice Armor Tank. The tank leveled up much better/smoother than the scraps but at 50 the scraps can do crazy things and live! The tank is fine at 50 but the Scraps really blossom at 50/higher levels, mostly due to Icy Bastion and Shadow Meld being so awesome! Battle Axe/Ice is my favorite Ice Armor toon but leveling it was rough with the high end costs of both sets, Claws/Ice was a little smoother to level and Scrapper "Spin" is a dang work of art! I also made a Broadsword/Ice Scrap that I hated... Ice/Ice Tank was very survivable but damage out was nothing to write home about.

100% agree! A simple button to click would avoid all this and be so very welcome. Fingers crossed for future upgrades! I can offer 1 weird workaround in the meantime. It's been years since I've done this so forgive me if I've forgotten the details but your character list is stored as a text file in the game folder. You can open and edit that file and move your toons around that way too. It's still very clunky and with that many toons it may just be to much of a pain but maybe worth looking into. I think I had less than 50 toons the last time I tried this so it wasn't quite as large an undertaking. Good luck fellow altoholic!

Fair point! I hadn't really thought about it like that but you're 100% correct!

I feel like the HW event really overstays its welcome and dramatically alters the way that a significant portion of the population plays the game such that it has a (slightly) negative impact on the rest of population. Don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming the sky was falling or that you couldn't fill teams to do non-HW stuff but everything was slow to fill for the duration of the event. It also doesn't help that the event has become synonymous with afk leeches. The Map Server event has a similar effect on the population but doesn't last as long so it's more palatable (imo). I loved the Vday event and had no issue with the Xmas event and I think Xmas goes for the whole month too. I think 2 weeks for HW would be the sweet spot.

Oh don't feel too bad, the search is only top of mind for me because I posted a very similar suggestion a long time ago and was educated by some friendly forumites 🙂

Ukase sums it up nicely, not worth it. Back on live I'd use them for rare salvage once in a while but it's way easier and cheaper to just buy them on the AH now.
