  1. Yes. You do. You have been specifically asked, by me, to not post so many pictures in this and other threads.
  2. OK, let's not start another argument. I trimmed some back and forth and debated removing the pics. I'm leaving them for the moment, but if KingCeddd03 or anyone turns this into a New York bulletin board by adding more they all might go. Also, be excellent to each other.
  3. I mean in the sense that we have damage auras (you can pretend it's reflected back) and we have -dam Auras. So both those things have been done. Genetic Contamination does both damage DoTs and -Dam. I forget if there are others.
  4. Maybe it could be an aura that reduces incoming damage and reflects it back. We already have ones that do that, though. To give it flavor, it should reflect back the damage directed at the tank. Fight fire with fire! Ice with Ice!
  5. Yes, damage done to you gets reflected back to enemy, like bullets ricocheting. However, that also brings up an interesting possibility -- what if you had a tanker power that acted like MM bodyguard, but for your teammates. Damage directed at team gets deflected back to that tank. Sorry, just riffing off your ideas.
  6. Soooo . . . Force Shield. I'd have to see the end numbers after a typical Mids build, but on first glance it seems like it will be easy to soft-cap and still have a decent amount of resist, as well as absorb, and a team-wide hibernate that everyone can still use all attacks and powers. Sounds OP at first glance, but again I'd need to flesh out a full build with IOs to see. I was also hoping you had some deflection damage in there, which is something I'd like to see in an armor set some day. PS. - Debate the topic, not each other and . . .
  7. Steer as in cow, clear as in water . . . I see what you did there.
  8. I might get in trouble for posting this, but the people have a right to know!
  9. Always watching . . .
  10. At OP Vic Raiden's request, thread locked.
  11. I predict there will be stuff that people love, and things that people hate. And that these stuff and things will be on open beta SoonTM. And finally, that when these things and stuff do get revealed that I will spend hours refocusing the focused feedback threads. 😔
  12. Hey you two (you know who you are), knock it off. You know the drill: stick to commenting on the topic, not on each other.
  13. Yeah. I apologize on behalf of the forums. But suggestions and feedback section tends to quickly break down into camps promoting or critiquing the suggestion, which is fine, and breaks down to the camps critiquing each other, which is not fine. So guys, please, stop doing that. As to the idea itself, my only concern would be making something as sturdy as a Dwarf with the ranged damage of the Nova, all without the other forms' weaknesses. I like Laucianna's "Vixen" concept. I was trying to think of something similar but couldn't find the right words or image. The closest I got was Armor from X-men as a parallel for Dwarf.
  14. Apparently, the game Ark: Survival Evolved has developed a method to tame leeches using fishing baskets. Sounds crazy to me. B.E.T.E.O
  15. Since you asked, I don't think we need a new rule. I believe that it is covered by: "If you encounter a negative person please block or ignore them; do not escalate the situation by engaging them yourselves. If their behaviour continues, please report them (see ‘Violations and Consequences’ below)." AND "Do not abuse or harass others" But I don't make the rules. You are free to pass your proposal up to one of the Lead GMs or the Council. And you can also seek appeals of any GM action (or inaction) by contacting a lead GM, preferably via a ticket so that it can be tracked. I do wish that you and Arcane could get along, but sometimes people just can't get along due to personalities, or history, or whatever else. That's why it's best to ignore people that have that effect on you and not engage with them. I know it's hard to do sometimes. But that's our policy.
  16. You may not like who I choose to identify as a bad actor. But any way, strike 2. Stop the snide attacks unless you want the thread locked. It seems like some may be dead set on it. Maybe I should start issuing time outs instead.
  17. *Sigh* Shin, apparently, is psychic. Or at least good at spotting patterns. I should probably close the thread. It was one post from four months ago, during the last testing cycle, that was resurrected. Folks are bickering over personality traits instead of the topic. And, in order to conform to the perceptions of certain players, GMs should immediate stifle any criticism of the Devs. We don't. But folks believe that we do nonetheless. There will not be any open comments from the devs at this time. There have been many comments from the devs in the closed beta forums, and even more in the closed beta sections of Gold Standard Testers Discord. So Radio Silence should be expected until things go into open beta. I can understand the perspective of the players because I've been a player for 20 years and only relatively recently joined the team as a GM. A bunch of new Devs have also been on-boarded recently too. But you should live a day in the devs shoes. They too have been players and fans. The only difference is they have some coding skill and have agreed to volunteer those skills. They, like you, have favorite sets and sets that think need help. They, like you, have content that they would like to see added to the game. So they spend countless hours learning this game's crazy code and countless more hours trying to create something they like. And when they show it to us some praise it as the work of benevolent gods and others curse them as evil know-nothings. Neither of those is true, in case you didn't know. And, despite the criticism thrown their way they continue to work on the game in the best way they know how. Do they listen to players' concerns? Hell yes, they do. Do they obey players' demands? Hell, no they don't. Unless it fits with where they want the game to go. Here are wiki links to the last two issues that have been put out by Homecoming. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Issue_26 https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Issue_27 I'd ask all of you to read through them and ask yourself if they haven't added things that you wanted, maybe even lobbied for. Perhaps things that you even love. And yes, I am sure there are other things that you hated when they came out. Some you got used to and some you still hate. But if you don't want threads locked, please don't insult each other (or anyone, really). Please stay on topic. And for those that hate me most of all, please be excellent to each other. Thread will remain open for now. How long is up to all of you. Oh! I meant to link this as well: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/dev-vs-qa-cant-we-all-just-get-along-ruslan-desyatnikov/
  18. Guys. No mocking, poking, or burying please.
  19. Indeed it has. This is the second time I've had to trim posts (and those that quoted trimmed posts). Thread locked. BETEO
  20. Sometimes it's Finland!
  21. The amount of time it takes between receiving an IP violation complaint and acting on it can vary based on numerous factors: 1. How many GMs are available at the time the complaint comes in? 2. How cooperative our tools are being? Sometimes we can look up a player costume and it populates instantly, other times it takes minutes, sometimes it glitches and never populates. 3. How obvious is the violation? Making a blue and red character in tights with a red cape and an S on their chest, named SUPERMAN is easy. Sometimes the IP being violated is more obscure. Sometimes it has become public domain. Sometimes it's a judgment call as to whether its parody or copy. We sometimes research the IP to look at images or to see if there is any registered trademark, etc. 4. If the GM has any doubts or questions they will seek the opinion of other GMs and Lead GMs before acting. All that generally happens in less than a day. But if it's timed just right it can happen in a few minutes.
