  1. Not knowing how to enter the mission when the door is a Freedom Corp helicopter is slightly embarrassing. It gets way more embarrassing when you somewhat recently did the Faultline arcs that also have that type door. Still had fun, though.
  2. Amplifying a question from Discord: Has anyone had any difficulties with custom enemies with healing powers not using them? They stated that the enemies are set to Ranged preference.
  3. A power outage prevented me from getting in range for Eden so I'm signing up for Sutter with Ebony Gyro - Elec/Elec Blaster.
  4. Just bumped into this. Maybe it's event based? Roughly above coordinates [365.4 0.0 1714.0]
  5. All considered, people are probably getting settled in now that they have more characters and those characters are more fully built. So it's a lower max population but those here are more active.
  6. All considered, there are reasons to search outside of just the arc ID. Some situations, especially with the more prolific writers, you might search for a player's global instead of the arc ID. And just a few weeks ago, someone was here requesting comedy arcs since they were in a SG that enjoys them. They had to ask here since for some since Comedy is flooded with farms for some random reason but they did do a search.
  7. I was about to post similar. While there's maybe some adjustments needed with IOs and Incarnate powers, it comes down to enemy design. What's interesting is that it looks like devs are starting to play in this space. The recent change to immobilization powers alters how knockback affects a target and the change to high level Council actually have a control weakness.
  8. For the writers: Prince Kiros Nandelu, the Galaxy City contact for Mutant heroes, is stated to be an African prince. Was it ever determined what country (real or fictional) he was from?
  9. To whoever would like to answer: Since the Blood of the Black Stream has already been asked about I'll instead ask, were there more plans for doing things in the Shadow Shard? I remember it being noted once that costume pieces connect to a limited number of nodes but a few were empty and reserved for future additions. What update to the costume system do you most wish could have been added to the game? Which zone do you most wish got a chance to be revamped and why? What feature seemed cool but due to code/complexity didn't get added to Mission Architect?
  10. Figured I might as well rip off the bandage and republish the sequel instead of waiting to get other things finished. Tested, but I'm sure someone else will find something I missed.
  11. I'll have to look over the powers but I actually wouldn't exclude the nuke. The AE powersets sometimes do interesting things with the actual powers available.
  12. Something that would be quite useful would be HP groupings for Destructable and Defendable objects. Sometimes they can wind up way more fragile than a mission intends so having the ability to make them tougher (or even weaker) would be useful.
  13. Cutting it close but I'd like to join in @ZamuelNow - Ebony Gyro - Elec/Elec Blaster. Now to finalize the outfit...
  14. Would like to join but doing other things during the day. How long does Synapse usually run? Have run one since before shutdown but never ran it much.
  15. What if it isn't posted this week? Just wondering if it were finished later if it would still count.
  16. On the feedback side of "Suggestion and Feedback", I have to say I've been enjoying the change the devs made to the way knockback interacts with immobilization powers. It sounds subtle on paper but it really is a nice increase in soft control. And this is on a Blaster so it's probably far better on a Controller or Dominator.
  17. And Thunderous Blast had the odd quirk that the crash was based off the number of targets hit so you could do things like use it on smaller spawns and not fully crash.
  18. Well, on to the most nitpicky of typos... Speaking of Mission 4, I failed it since I was calling myself smart by using a Stalker and trying to avoid picking up allies. That was wholly on me, especially since I've been back to the game only so long. Good arc regardless. Only possible comment on the substance of the arc is that warehouse maps with the airplane rooms can have close spawns...but it does fit the theme.
  19. Sounds good. I forget the exact set of what teammates could and could not see in AE. I do remember team leaders copy/pasting a lot to chat.
  20. Today I had a ton of fun with a bunch of lowbies redside. Some of it was preplanned but most of us hadn't teamed before. There were a few faceplants but no team wipes. Everyone was chill and looking forward to teaming again. Anyone else have fun today?
  21. Had a malevolent time. Looking forward to the next one.
  22. Though Studio B has worthy goals, it's mostly subpar in it's execution of a quiet space. I think there's three things that could be done to improve it. Change it from deactivating powers to suppressing them. By allowing powers to stay on but not active, it is safer to enter instances where the spawn is way too close to the door or there are ambushes and patrols. This ties into... Put a data stream and contact inside Studio B. Working on a mission is a fairly iterative process. If you're already using a separate room for editing, it would make sense to be able to quickly enter the mission. Create a new AE location in a coop zone that is only a Studio B style location. Don't interfere with the RWZ and Pocket D locations (which actually don't even have a Studio B section) so people using them as is aren't inconvenienced.
  23. I still haven't quite figured that out.
  24. I like how Strike Forces have unique rooms and bosses instead of repeatedly clearing out the same warehoues. You can also describe them by who you fight. Punch a tree and take it's stuff. Punch Hitler and take his stuff. Punch Drumstick Satan and take his stuff. All memorable experiences despite the oversimplified descriptions.
  25. Well, I guess I'll start with conversation. Which are your favorite Task Forces/Blueside Trials? While many show their age, the sheer number of them allows some to stand out. My favorite is actually the Abandoned Sewer Trial. It's something that requires coordination but doesn't need some massive League or being hooked into voice chat. Granted, I ran them PUG so it was an adventure at times. I also have to give a shout out to the Eden Trial for being hauntingly beautiful if you're not speedrunning it.
