  2. *hold mah beer* Technically the matrix is a great subject for patch notes because people are 'logged' into the 'matrix' where they have 'superpowers' much like we are 'logged' into 'paragon city' where we have 'superpowers'. The only difference is the interface they use is plugged into their wetware, whereas we have to go through hardware that we aren't plugged into. *chugs beer*
  3. I personally hate them. It's almost like the Wachowski Bros wanted to make a live action anime, it follows all the main tropes. Hero get's more and more powerful until Hero dies in fight with equally power villain. Which is sad, the first Matrix was a master class in sci-fi. The rest could have simply been an akira add on.

  5. I like how you think you'll be some anon leecher. Raid leaders talk, word spreads who helps and who doesn't. Character names are learned and when the call goes out to move zones, all you are likely to see is that 'the raid has been canceled'
  6. How will it make hami useless to run? The longest part of hami is spawning him. You only clear two waves of mitos btw, the third you dps through. It literally takes about 15 minutes from the moment hami is spawned. That's 15 minutes for 80 merits. Useless?????
  7. The point is that entitled hipster leechers who don't do anything at the raid shouldn't be there. Will they still show up? Probably. Will the people who actually bother to lead the raids learn their names quickly, not invite them to league, move the raid to the abyss and not tell the leechers? You bet all these things will happen.
  8. Obviously you've never lead a raid. It's cool, I've been leading them since issue 5. I'm well versed in both versions of hami raid. The problem you speak of, isn't a problem. People who actively want to raid will generally show up early. Sure, freeloaders and griefers show up, and go AFK on the rock. You make it sound like there are no options, you can bring the wall to the rock killing them, you can spawn hami and hami blast them into nothing. You don't have to invite them to a league. Everyone that wants to actively raid can literally spawn hami, and leave for the abyss. Freeloaders and griefers as a rule have a hard time actually raiding hami.
  9. Except I'm not wrong. During that time I was blessed with a job that afforded me enough down time to surf the forums nearly 8 hours a day. I saw the Complaints for months, often before they would get removed by mods. You're choosing to believe what the 'devs' told you and that's fine. But you don't get to call me wrong because you didn't see what I saw.
  10. Yes because the mechanics are so hard. Oh please help me with the Hami. This is not a curse. This is how it should be, and quite frankly the reduction of leechers to the raids are a good thing. You can run a raid yourself you know, there is no 'in-group' of people leading hamis. There is only people willing to lead hamis. But just because your not willing to lead, don't try to claim some vicious elitist motive to who leads the Hami raid because your unwilling. but oh the Hami mechanics are so hard. Get out of here.   11. @Galaxy Brainwhy do you think the GDN happened? PVP blasters complained about not being able to hit SR scrappers in PVP zones. why do you think tank toggles are susceptible to toggle dropping in PVP zones? PVP blasters complained about not being able to damage tanks through reisistances. why do you think the clusterf that was the i13 PVP changes happened? Anything you do/suggest/ or actually change in this game is met with another AT complaining about the change. I worked very hard on the logic of my proposed changes so they wouldn't drastically effect the other ATs and still be able to raise tanker profiles at higher levels. i see now that was a mistake, as many lauded my proposed changes as ineffectual. i do think blasters will complain about this. I also think this is going to be to overpowering but I am willing to test it if time permits.
  12. @Myrmidonthis isn't those. If you mean where every tank attack did aoe splash dmg, this isn't it. This is simply an increase in aoe radius for aoe attacks. *waits for the blasters to complain tanker aoes are larger*

But to do this in a popmenu you would want Option "&v 5th Column" "targetcustomnext val enemy alive$$targetcustomnext mek enemy alive$$targetcustomnext vam enemy alive$$targetcustomnext wo enemy alive$$targetcustomnext sha enemy alive" also, you can instantly load bind files from a popmenu, the actual popmenu though will only load when you start the game from the desktop. So if you make a change to the popmenu that's when you need to quit to desktop. You can make changes to the bind file all day long however without restarting. so if your popmenu was option "&v fifth column" "loadbindfile groups\5th.txt" you could change 5th.txt all day long and never have to restart, simply load the bond file on every change
  14. I was pretty sure that's what you meant, but I've also had people ignore me when I tell them how game mechanics etc really work. So it sometimes pays to be precise.
  15. @Cipheris not entirely correct in the wording. It is possible. If you want to run a personal server and do it you most certainly can and their are already programs out there to let you do it. The problem is, you need access to the server/db/auth etc to get everything setup. So it is certainly not possible to do it with the Homecoming Db/Server/Auth, but it is certainly possible to do it with a server you have spun up, which is probably what Cipher meant. Note that I am not saying it's easy, I've looked over the programs that have already been generated to do it, these people are out and out Geniuses for getting it to work. But it does require a discord bot, and it requires a bot account that stays logged in all the time, plus the aforementioned server/db/auth access, so it is probably a good drain on server resources.
  16. Impossible due to the way bases are coded. The salvage racks in bases aren't linked to a db table somewhere, they are actually part of the map, so when you add stuff to them you aren't just inserting a line in the db that something else can look into, you are literally editing the map data file. Your suggestion would require rewriting the invention table code, and would also mean every time an invention table was accessed a base map would need to be loaded. And the base code is very resource intensive so that would put a hard strain on the server.
  17. Seems it's strictly a browser issue. So probably changing browsers back to firefox, especially since the main reason I was using this browser was a plugin that I've since found a way around needing.

  21. To be fair, that is exactly where a brute is at SO levels. It is only after IOs and tricked out builds come into play that we start to see the issues. So no, no nerf to brutes is necessary.

  23. I'm not paying him anything. Foxy and I have played this game a long time. We've been friends a long time. A long time. Foxy has seen me tank things that you wouldn't believe. Foxy has seen me tank for teams you probably would have walked away from and keep them together and successful. Do I have friends? Yeah. Do they know what I'm capable of on my tank? Yeah. Do they not like to see people who apparently know nothing about tanking talk to me like I just picked up the game yesterday? No they do not. All the things you guys are describing, brutes tanking as well as tanks, blasters stripping aggro off tanks, tanks needing support, psi hole OMG, these are things my friends have seen me demonstrate to be untrue time and time again. And yet there is still a misconception in the game that brutes > tanks at tanking. They are not. You are not going to take my word for it, that's fine. My suggestions in the OP are meant to solidify tanks as the main tanking class, no ifs and or buts and still leave room for a brute/scrapper to step in and tank in a pinch. My suggestions are meant to address inadequacies created by easily obtainable res/def IO bonuses that causes another AT to be able to step on a tanks toes. And they do that perfectly while not hurting any existing Tanker character in the game. They don't change those characters to be different than the player who created envisioned and they add extra to the class in a subtle way. Then again, you are the guy who told me to 'lrn2tank noob' because I've never tanked in other MMOs. If you want to discuss FFXII tanking, goto those forums. You need to realize one thing though, 90+% of my time playing COH is spent on an INV/SS tank, tanking in a dynamic COH environment, I know tanking in this game. I may not know it in other games, and I will be bow to your knowledge in WOW/CO/EverQuest/DACO/FFXII/Whatever, but here in this game? I am the tank, you are not.
  24. Can confirm, a whole tray of yellows and no TP effect. The check should be removed, Wormhole is such a large part of Gravs appeal.
