  2. Recheck your folder path Puma. data\texts\English\menus Many people put either text or menu instead of texts and menus. Also be sure to completely log out of the game back to the desktop. The way COH works is that it only loads up that menus when the game first loads up so you need to start the game fresh when installing any type of popmenu.
  3. Razorcat, you need a bind not a macro. Make your bind like this, /bind <some key you want to press> "+$$powexec <some power you want to activate>$$powexec <some power you want to activate>" So what happens is you get a press/release on a key, when you press down on the key one thing happens when you release the key the other thing happens.

    It's just to easy now is the problem. It's not even a raid anymore honestly. In the old days, raid leaders would ask if anyone has not raided hami before, those that hadn't would be mentored by team leads and they learned to raid. Which created even smoother and more numerous raids as people started learning the process and stepping up to run their own raids.

    On live there was never an unwillingness to alt for fear of losing your spot. Capping the zone accomplishes certain things, leechers aren't going to be bothered to get to the hive early to insure their spot so it get's more active participants. Griefers, likewise aren't going to get their very early to insure their spot. It cuts down on the slide show lag we are seeing. And it turns hami back into a threat. Let's face it, Issue 9 hami wasn't designed for this many people to attack him and has become such a joke that people can't be bothered to even listen to the raid leader instructions. It shouldn't be that way. I'd be willing to say that except for a few raid leaders on excel nobody else on the server could run a raid at a zone cap. People would need to learn how to actually run the raid instead of just breaking the mechanics by 'throwing more explosions at it till they win'. That would also create players that would clean up their own mess when they triple bloom hami instead of being scared of it and just quitting leaving it for someone else to do.

    I think this is a non issue. If an SG is doing a SG only raid, why are they announcing it in a global channel? For scheduled raids, it ensures that people are there early/on time to get their spot on the raid team. It also helps ensure that the people who are going to participate are going to be there. If they don't make it to the hive in time to get a spot, eh. We also on live would get to the hive, see have 2 and hive 1 full, and someone would go into hive 2 to keep open, if there was enough interest a second raid would be held at the same time as the first raid insureing everyone got a reward. If not enough interest, most raiders would wait around and goto hive 2 to raid and help the people who didn't get in on the first raid. At least that's how it was on Justice.

    Somewhere Hamidon was changed from get 1 hit to get the reward to do 10% dmg done to get the reward. This has resulted in loss of rewards for the mito aggro team when utilizing new strategies that have been developed. This needs to be fixed. As an addendum, the zone cap of 50ish people, paragonwiki says 50 but I thought it closer to 100, needs to be reinstated. When 5 full leagues show up for a hami raid the lag is unbearable. So this also needs to be fixed.
  13. No worries, I get that a lot with this blaster. But I'm also packing quite some numbers on him to. A 4x8 asteroid is easily accomplished. He's a bit of an end hog though, haven't quite figured out how to fix that.
  14. Are you including AVs in that as well or just clearing the missions beyond AVs? Because a tank isn't going to be able to overcome AV regen level by himself, neither is a brute probably. If you're just talking about clearing the maps (minus the AVs), then yeah shouldn't be an issue.
  15. I do not feel this is a good metric for tanking because I do this on my archery/ninja blaster. I've 'tanked' Ghost Widow on that blaster by pulling her away from the team and just putting arrows in her until they finished the other three and hover tanked recluse the same way (which I don't ever want to do again, without taunt and the team looks at a pylon funny? you better have incarnate nuke ready or he loses attention real quick). Having said that, tanking is about battlefield management as well as survivability. I was told by a brute one night that I was a good tank because he didn't notice his toggles were off and I was maintaining aggro well enough it took 3/4s of the mission before he realized it because he just wasn't taking any damage. That's a good metric for tankiness. (Edited to add I was on my inv/ss tank when this happened.)
  16. Untrue, the AOE version you are referencing is gauntlet which is different from the additional single target effect both tanks and brutes enjoy. Edited to add, the single target version that both tanks and brutes enjoy does apply to hits from aoe powers effecting every mob hit by the aoe. This is an automatic taunt application. Edited to also add, this single target version is why you can slot taunt enhancements in brute and tank powers. Gauntlet has nothing to do with that.
  17. This is also accurate, at high end incarnate level IO game play no specific AT is needed. And the best team will always be 8 frads.
  18. I would say this brute wasted a power on taunt because the power taunt disrupts the momentum of fury and titan weapons. His aura, pbaoe/cones, and single target attacks should have been more than enough to maintain aggro control for the team just by generating the higher orange numbers.
  19. Gauntlet sucks for aggro control. How gauntlet works, the tanker makes an attack on an enemy, which generates the aforementioned 400% taunt mag if it hits, then a second to-hit check (for gauntlet) is made, and if that second to-hit check is successful a (some number that escapes me at the moment) taunt mag is added to the target and to 4 other enemies around him within range. You get better and more reliable aggro control from the Taunt power and your aura, which as mentioned previously brutes also share.

  21. Also not true due to the tank having a much higher HP cap which translates into a higher regen base. The extra little bit of resist a tank enjoys over even an IO'd brute makes a world of difference that you do not notice when things are being obliterated in mere seconds.
  22. This is simply not true. Brutes and tanks both get the auto-hit Taunt power in their powersets. Brutes and Tanks also both get an automatic single target 400 mag taunt effect placed on enemies from just hitting them. Brutes also enjoy the same taunt aura that Tanks have and a higher threat level than tanks due to the orange numbers generated by fury.

  24. There is a bug with the Tanker ATO +res. when you activate the power to see how much res it gets it lowers your defense roughly 2.5%.
