Was using the Yin TF Had a team with 6 blasters and a controller, no badge check icon appeared at all Reformed and ran with just 4 blasters, we had the icon for the first mission, did not have it for the rest of the TF No badge awarded. Tested Yin again, team of 4 blasters all blueside alignment this time, we had the X4 symbol on screen in mission 1 then it was gone in mission 2.

/ Role Diversity - Complete the content on a team with Archetypes that fulfill all five roles. Badge name is Variety act, confirmed that the image changes when you change from blue to red alignment and back.
-
Role Diversity Badges test fail: Yin TF, we ran thru it FAST with the following teams: 1. Tank + PB + WS + Defender looking at the list, the criteria were met, no badge 2. Tank + SCrapper +Blaster + Defender + Controller = no badge. 3. 4 tanks, Yin TF, no Mirror Image badge. 4. 4 blasters, LGTF, no Mirror Image badge. Okay found out the error after reading the notes again for the previous reward version: Team members are checked when they zone into missions, if they don't zone into any mission the challenge won't check them. Epic archetypes count for three different roles at once. Once the bonus is fulfilled, you'll get a pop-up float and a small TF/SF-specific icon will appear to signify the team has qualified for the bonus on completion. It seems that the whole team needs to enter the first mission and wait a moment for the check to complete, one of us on the team was not entering the mission so the whole team wasn't checked. Variety Act badge obtained

Why bother? People will still find quick ways to get the badge with a team of 4. Why install a limiter just because Khelds and Veats cover 3 categories?
-
Yep, the giant spawned normally. QoL suggestions: 1. Can Infernia be taught the art of walk and talk at the same time? 2. Sometime ago the Barracuda SF was upgraded so that the team leader gets the power to shut off Reichsman's phasing, in the spirit of that can we can an upgrade to LGTF where Lady Grey/Vanguard gives the team a temp power with say 30 charges that can be used to hold the greens and shut down their protection?

Netflix Masters of the Universe Revolution (SPOILERS)
Voltor replied to Voltor's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
This one is better. Sets the tone for the future and the characters get to grow up. -
Sequel to MOTU Revelations Kevin Smith takes the show back to the more classic hero vs villain conflict that was missing for some of Revelations. Also he is doing the following: 1. Appears to be retconning away the She-ra series, for a possible She-Ra appearance in a later season. Note: the SHe_ra toyline and live action movie helped cause the collapse of the toyline so I'm not viewing this as a bad thing if she is retconned into a new form and her series negated. 2. GWILDOR! The replacement for Orko in the live action movie is brought into the cartoon! he and orko have some rather fun banter with each other, and some of his lines could indicate that the live movie is now somehow linked to the cartoon........kind of hope not, but ok. 3. Fusion of magic and technology! This was as I recall one of the main premises for the 90's He-Man cartoon where he and Skeletor went to the future. 4. Original canon origin of Skeletor was he was a demon from another dimension come to Eternia to conquer. 2002 he-man cartoon showed that he was once Keldor the brother of Randor. keldor gets disfigured in battle with Randor and conjures up Hordak to cure him, and Hordak turns him into Skeletor. Revolution reveals that Skeletor was always a minion of Hordak and used to be Keldor.

Focused Feedback: Badges & Emotes

Recently added for the new Pierce personal story arc -
Still testing Advanced mode,. however i also have tested Master badge mode and have noted that on mission 3 now if both Infernia and Glacia are defeated the mission no longer fails and the Master badge is also not failed. I completed the TF on a toon that doesn't have Master of LGTF and the badge did award. Also Infernia and Glacia were taken down rather fast by the Rikti, have they been nerfed? (you still MUST safely get Yin out in mission 1, that has not changed on Master mode) Also as of the new update on Beta we finally get an upgraded to the hamidon Essence temp power! Thank you for this as that temp power for years on live has had no information as to what it truly does besides some protection from extra-dimensional enemies and I have thought of as basically useless. NOW it is a TOGGLE POWER! Here are the details: You have tapped into the power of the Hamidon. Channeling this force enables your powers to affect transdimensional entities. It will last for up to two weeks. This power will prevent the following from affecting you in Advanced Mode: - Special Assault Suit Teleswaps - Neural Nullifier Bubbles - Entangler Turrets & Entangler Chasers - Radiation Leaks - Rikti War Zone Pylon Freems - Rikti War Zone Drop Ship Freems This power can be transferred to another player. Expires in 14 days of real time However: despite the 14 day timer, upon completion of a regular LGTF, master LGTF, or advanced LGTF, the power disappears from your character. So no quick runs of LGTF on regualr mode for this power 🙂

Yeah but worth checking for. If you have the figure and most or all accessories and it still works, even without the box..... -
ROM SPACEKNIGHT Omnibus #1 has released
Voltor replied to Voltor's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
You just may have a collector's item on your hands. -
marvel has at long last regained the rights to both ROM Spaceknight and the Micronauts. Omnibus reprints of both series are coming this year. ROM Omnibus #1 has released, 4 different covers. It contains ROM isues 1 - 29 and Power Man and Iron Fist #73 where ROM guest starred. This is the first time Marvel has ever reprinted ROM and first time they have ever regained the trademarks. These Omnibus collections will also have the issues of other Marvel books that ROM guest starred in that could never be reprinted before. Including Power Man and Iron Fist #73, Marvel 2 in 1 #99 and Incredible Hulk #296

**Bailout Hero Badge**: the final badge from Dark Astoria arcs. You only get this mission from Dream Doctor after you have done all the other missions including his personal mission. Also you need to do the DA missions live in DA and not via Ouro or you can't get this mission. The mission is to complete the Dilemma Diabolique trial and you get the badge. To be safe you can use the 3 day auto complete option to complete the mission and you get the badge easily. After some testing with this mission I have learned for sure that it awards only to the mission holder AND if you are on a Dilemma Diabolique iTrial that fails (rare but possible) then you luckily get to retain the mission and try again to get it via the iTrial. That is good as this mission/badge is NOT available via Ouroborus. Just confirmed this on the Brainstorm beta server, thanks to the ones that padded the team so that I could launch the trial and wait out the clock solo.......

Swiss Draw has been broken since live. It awards only to the person in the 2nd spot of the player roster. So let the 2nd player win all their fights, set it up again with someone else in the 2nd spot on the roster and repeat.

Indiana Jones and the... Dial Of Destiny?
Voltor replied to ThaOGDreamWeaver's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Passing the fedora to his own son or daughter would be better then bringing Harrison back. -
Cyborg Superman: technology origin: TANK Level 50 Powers: Invul/Super Strength plus laser eyes from the Epic pools, but also his ability to turn others into Cyborgs and control them and his own metal structure would also add Robot Mastermind powers to him. The Eradicator: hard-light hologram meant to defend and revive Superman. Technology origin: TANK, Level 50 Radiation armor as he is energy and energy cannot be destroyed only transformed, and he was sending energy into Superman to revive him. Super Strength but also energy melee as he was energizing his fists and also energy blasts. I classify him as a tank as he easily withstood both Steel and the Superboy clone, and held his own against the cyborg, their battle ending in a stalemate. Superboy: quasi-clone of Superman. Science origin: TANK. I'd would say Scrapper but super strength is not available for scrappers. level 25 at best as he is young and not in the fullness of his powers. Steel: Technology origin TANK. Level 50 as he was able to hold his own against Eradicator for a time in their second fight but was worn down as he is a man in a suit of armor and can get tired while the Eradicator cannot. Powers: Invulnerable and titan weapon hammer. Also some blaster capability as he was shooting at the Eradicator in their second fight. Thoughts?

Indiana Jones and the... Dial Of Destiny?
Voltor replied to ThaOGDreamWeaver's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
They should have recast Mutt and passed the Fedora to him. However as weak and bad as this movie was, I would rather watch Indiana Jones 4 and 5 and the Star Wars Holiday Special then Matrix 4. -
Forgot to mention: The RV AV's can be soloed, odds of success vary depending on AT and power sets. You also need to figure out which AV to hit first, possibly separate the two, drag them to nearby NPC's that will attack them, have a heavy unit, envenomed daggers and some other temp power pets that work in the zone. Of course.......I never said it would be easy. Have fun soloing Lord Recluse! (yes, it can be done 🙂 )
-
It is all random, there is NO pattern of pillboxes for spawning the AVs. It will be either Scorpion + Mako, or Scirocco + GW with Recluse randomly replacing one of them. He spawns when you are solo or with a team, it is just random

I watch older TV shows and movies that have lost some cast and crew over the years, case in point Babylon 5 and the original Night Court. Richard Moll aka Bull recently passed away leaving only Dan and Roz left from the old show. I still laugh at the jokes in Night Court and enjoy the story of Babylon 5 James Earl Jones has struck a deal for his voice to be AI cloned from now and forever. Thus voice of Vader shall live on. I have no problem with that as I have heard others play Vader in assorted Star Wars games over the years........James Earl Jones IS Vader, imo. Peter Cullen, a prolific voice actor best known as the original voice of Optimus Prime is still around and I think he got a life time achievement award recently. I don't know how he feels about AI voice cloning, but I hope he does strike a deal to keep the voice of Optimus Prime alive. His most recent work is in Invincible Season 2 as Thaedus. You will know his voice when you hear it 🙂

The TV series retcons the first movie so that yes Connor did defeat Kurgan but it was NOT the final gathering. This is established early in Season 2 when Duncan first meets Joe Dawson. Season 1 of Highlander was a bit rough until he went to Paris to meet up with Darius and fought Grayson, the first "ancient" immortal Duncan had to face. Grayson was roughly 1800 years old to Duncan's 400. Season 1 then had to adjust for the death of the actor that played Darius, and they wanted a new "wise mentor" type of character for Duncan to talk to and tried a couple until they made Methos, the 5000+ year old immortal. A fun TV series, I did not like how they removed Richie from the show however. The movie Endgame.....well there is the theater version, the cable version and the DVD version all with some differences. We get the forced fight of Duncan vs Connor so that their literal combined power can take down the big villain whom according to the Watchers was at nearly 666 kills of immortals to Duncan's 100+. The premise was that made him too powerful despite Duncan taking down far older immortals in the TV show.. OVerall Endgame was mediocre at best and Highlander 5 The Source was so bad it skipped theaters and premiered on SyFy and was flamed to ashes by the fans
