I think in ep 4 the Death Star defenses were designed to ward off capital ships, but their deflectors weren't built to effectively block starfighters. Also the original Enterprise DID take a few blasts from the Doomsday Machine's planet destroying beam before shields went down and the hull began to suffer. So maybe one blast from the Death Star super laser could have been withstood. But once Enterprise shields dropped, the Tie fighters and laser cannons may well end the fight.

Ahsoko Tano tells Mando that Grogu/baby Yoda has a lot of fear in him and that it may be best to let his abilities fade. The classic game: Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast had Kyle Katarn go through the process of rediscovering his abilities as he let them fade after Dark Forces 2.

And there 's the old question of how would the Enterprise fare against the Death Star
-
The old saying "use it or lose it", Leia may be instinctively using the Force at this time in the Obi series, but without training and being sheltered by Bail Organa and trained as a diplomat and joining the rebellion, her Force powers could have faded. Vader sensed Luke in the trench attack on the Death Star and later learned he was the one that blew up the Death Star and that his name was Skywalker. That was when Vader knew his child survived and he began to change. In Empire Luke's training unlocked his power and the Emperor realized what a threat Luke could be. ROTJ Vader and Luke sense each other but that could also be the father/son bond via the Force. Until Luke revealed the truth to Leia she had no real awareness of her power, with her awareness comes her power as she sensed Luke survived at the end. However she wasn't trained yet and did not seem able to see the ghosts at the end.

Well at least Kennedy's influence is diminished now. However Leia could save Obi Wan from the "certain point of view" that her being kidnapped makes him realize that while he must guard Luke that he is still a Jedi, and that evil triumphs when good does nothing. Thus he retrains and gets his fighting edge back and Qui-Gon helps him with the advanced training to become a ghost. Right now I suspect Qui-Gon doesn't speak to him at all because of Obi's current mindset of despair and now horror at seeing Vader. Also I suspect this season will be what convinces Obi-wan that Anakin is truly destroyed as he tells Luke in ROTJ. "Your father was seduced by the Dark Side. He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker and became Darth Vader. When that happened the good man that was your father was destroyed. So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view" and also "He's more machine now then man, twisted and evil" Obi and Yoda are convinced that Vader is beyond redemption and must be destroyed.

I had heard Thrawn was back thanks to Rebels but hadn't watched it, As to the Obi series, rumors abound that it was expanded to 3 seasons with Obi slated to appear in other TV series set before the classics. As to Disney not handling characters from the classic movies very well, that is due to Kathleen Kennedy, imo. Her TV show for Star Wars called Acolytes I believe, is facing troubles all due to her disorganization and constantly changing things. Rumors abound that CEO Chapek is phasing her out of the Star Wars projects, Rumors state that Lucas will become President of Lucasfilm and rebuild it and then pass the torch to Fiege and remain as consultant. As to young Leia saving Obi Wan, maybe. However that would likely occur in such a way as Vader does not see her directly or make contact with her at all via the Force. IF he were to see her or sense her in the Force he may notice the strong resemblance to Padme and do the math or he might just kill her for being a Force sensitive and thus a future threat. While he does encounter her in Ep 4 and 5 he doesn't do the math until Ep 6. I suspect that the next 2 eps of Obi Wan will be him seeking Leia while at the same time restoring his connection to the Force and getting his groove back. The final ep would be Obi vs Vader and possibly Qui-Gon's ghost giving Obi an assist.

Rumors abound that they plan to incorporate Legends material and story elements/characters into the assorted Star Wars TV series, including Thrawn. We shall see. Another rumor is that Mace Windu may have survived, but I hope not. Nothing against Sam Jackson, but Mace took about a million volts after being literally disarmed and was blasted out the window for a long fall. If he survived, what reason would have for not seeking out Yoda, Obi Wan and other Jedi and forming a strike team to first shut down and destroy Vader and then the Emperor? As to Obi-wan, I am enjoying this series and await the next episode with eager anticipation. This skirmish was only round 1, I predict that round 2 may well occur on Mustafar as Leia might be taken there to lure Obi-wan to Vader. By that point, Obi should have gotten his head back into the game and regained his fighting edge and spirit. At this point he is no match for Vader at all as we saw. He is horrified at what Anakin has become, he does not believe he can defeat Vader and that lack of belief is making him even more unfocused. Rumors also abound that the ghost of Qui-Gon will indeed appear to Obi Wan after Obi gets his head back into the fight.

Sounds like power customization and/or proliferation. Something old returning and something new?

You can do them anytime you want in the order you want on any alt that you want.

Marcus Valerius offers some timed missions to fight against regular Cimerorans. Since the new contact's story arc is still in development, can she simply offer some timed missions that pit us against incarnate Cimerorans until the new arc is ready?

Any chance that some alternate attack animations are going to be added to radiation melee? Example: atom smasher as a foot stomp and not just smashing fist into the ground or a single fist attack animation for radiation siphon instead of the current one? Also Devastating Blow could use a tune up, imo.

Only the mission holder needs to enter, all members on team should get the badge even if they are in another zone. If a character is zoning when the badge is won though, they might not get it,

Statesman: is it time to resurrect him or replace him?

If memory serves didn't the plan a contest for a player character to join the phalanx but the shutdown ended it? -
Statesman: is it time to resurrect him or replace him?
Voltor replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
The Phalanx has powerful members, but Statesman was the Mary Sue/Superman of the team. yes he could be a bit of a jerk but as the incarnate of Zeus that wouldn't be a surprise. It has also been stated that he didn't use his full might often because he understood the Well and the dangers of being linked to it. Positron is an overamped armor wearer, Bab and Cit are powerhouses but not at Statesman levels, Sister Psyche and Yin are the obligatory telepaths, Numina brings magic, Manticore is the hero without powers. While they have likely stepped up their game and rallied around Positron, the team lacks the overamped powerhouse that can swoop in and pulverize superior enemies that the rest can't handle. Case in point the lousy Justice League movie: they can't stop the invasion so they revive Superman and of course get smashed by him until Lois arrives and he fully wakes up then he returns to smash the leader of the invasion. As to Silos/Nemesis, he believes the power of Rularuu is the key to stopping battalion, and he does state that the power of Statesman is dispersed and cannot be reformed at the end of the VIP arc, however that statement is open to suspicion given the source. -
Which do you think? resurrect or replace? IF memory serves, had the game not been closed down, Emperor Cole was going to suit up and claim to be Statesman to fight the Battalion, but that isn't likely to happen now. So should Statesman be revived and restored to his full power? Or should he be replaced? If replaced, I would suggest that the time has come to cure Hero 1 of his Rikti contamination and be restored.

I will also warn that if you try to get the Bailout Hero badge via running the DD trial and it fails, which is a rare event but still possible, it is not known if you lost your only chance to get the badge. Just use mission autocomplete.

I don't know who it was back on live that decided the criteria for this badge but they must have been in a really bad mood that day. Currently to get the badge, you need to defeat one each of the 16 nightmares that spawn in stage 1. Only 3 spawn in stage 1 and its random. Which means many runs of the trial, or else the Ten Rounds of Nightmare farms that happen at times. So the question is: does it really need to be one of each of the 16? How about changing it to either: Cutting the amount from 16 to 8. or Leave it at 16 but remove the one of each of the 16 criteria so that after 16 nightmares, be they repeat spawns or not you get the badge.

Method to get the Handsome Badge unlocked in a fairly quick manner: 1. Your Main account with badge seeking character logged in 2. Drone/alt account with toon that does not have Handsome badge already. 3. Team up the alts, drone gets the Ganymede mission, badge hunter completes it. 4. Drone gets next mission, badge hunter enters it and door parks in it while drone speaks to Null and goes Rogue and then enters the mission. Badge hunter gets the key. Drone speeds to lock box and smashes it. 5. Drone and hunter exit and Drone shifts back to Hero or Vig alignment and speaks to Ganymede then back to Nul to Rogue again. 6. Drone gets mission from Scratch, badge hunter clears it quick as it is just defeat boss+guard. 7. Drone gets next mission, both hunter and drone enter. Drone door sits, badge hunter gets key and smashes cauldron. Both get handsome badge and both can talk to DJ Zero for Snaptooth missions. Fastest time for me to the above: 10 minutes. DJ Zero can be contacted 10 times as always for the Snaptooth mission, however unless they made a change you can call him anytime of the year as long as you have not reached the limit of 10. Thus new alts you make through the year could go get heart of light, party goer and V-tips from the snaptooth missions and Toothbreaker badge as well. This has been this way since event released on live.

issue 27 Patch Notes for February 10th, 2022

Nice updates. So......about the missions with the incarnate cimerorans....... -
This was suggested back on live by me and I figured I'd suggest it again. In a Malta group if 2 hercules units are damaged enough they will merge into a Zeus. When fighting Rularuu Natterlings I have observed that 2 minions and merge into a lieutenant ranked Natterling. So the power/mechanics of merge/combination into a gestalt appear to be at least somewhat in the game. For masterminds it could work like this: All 6 pets are summoned, they are fully equipped and upgraded. At this point a new button that Masterminds would have lights up and is ready to be used. However if even one pet is defeated before it is pressed the button greys out until pets are summoned and equipped/upgraded again. Upon pressing the button, the pets merge into a Gestalt, which has all the powers of all the pets but the powers are greater then the sum of the parts thus the powers are stronger when merged. Bots become a super robot Demons merge into a super demon: use the artwork for Ractespriel the contact for the third treespec trial. Soldiers merge into a super soldier Undead form into a super lich Thugs merge into a super brute Animals merge into a giant wolf If the gestalt is defeated, all pets must be summoned again. Gestalt duration: 5 minutes, after which the gestalt can either depsawn and all pets return in their separate forms, or else all pets must be summoned again. If you summon pets while the gestalt is out, it will despawn, or else pet summon powers grey out while gestalt is out. The Gestalt despawns when you zone. Recharge time of the power to merge: 30 minutes. Many has been the time when I would love to give the command to my bots: "MERGE INTO DEVASTATOR!" or "All units! ASSEMBLE VOLTRON!" or something similar. While this would be a serious upgrade to Masterminds, I do not believe this would be a game breaking change to them. They wouldn't have the power to merge pets until level 32 and that is presuming they have all pet powers plus the equip and upgrade pet powers.

Weapon suggestionm for Titan and Staff: SCYTHE
Voltor replied to Voltor's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Perhaps you are right about staff, unless maybe there is a spike on top of the scythe then it would work. As to spinning like a propeller....no more dangerous then spinning a lightsaber 🙂 -
Let's get a nice grim reaper style scythe for titan and staff weapons.
