  1. I was making a second version of it that was clearer then the first, it was a nice tool to have today after server maintenance, I led the team to the majority of the conduits, others spread out and got the others, Paladin was down a few minutes after.
  2. Eh, its been a long, long time since I used DO and SO, I just go straight to IO. My badge hunters seek all the badges including the crafting ones so I make sure that some L10 and L15 IO's are in base storage for new alts, when it comes time to respec and install set IO's the regular IO's get sold in AH.
  3. I have obtained the badge on level 1 alts that I had sitting around gathering dayjobs and dust. There is no level requirement to this, as far as I can tell the bug is caused by: 1. random glitch in the code a.k.a. bad luck 2. zone events do not combine, hence there cannot be a zombie attack and a nemesis attack in the same zone at the same time, however it MAY, emphasis on MAY, be that while and event is occurring in a zone that someone elsewhere completes an LGTF or a Katie TF and the event that would trigger from them is randomly chosen for the zone that Nemesis is attacking and thus causes the error. This is only a theory of course.

  5. I've assembled teams as soon as the announcement flashes in chat window which zone is being attacked. We gather in a couple of minutes and still get the glitch. The event proceeds until the timer expires and the GM doesn't show My strategy since I have to work at home for the foreseeable future is to work some badges on some alts, when the two hour mark approaches I grab the next alt for the badge and if I have lost track of which zone is next I just park in my base, announcement appears, I broadcast I am assembling in the target zone and off I go
  6. When it first started he was hitting all zones at once, but other events such as Rikti, Zombie, Burning Building and Troll Rave seem to have thrown it off a bit, as I stated in above posts. (unless the mods adjusted it), wait until next server restart and see if it syncs up again. I also monitor the alerts and have alts placed in some of the zones in advance to quickly jump to. As to the badge, here is the text from paragonwiki: Badge The following badge is awarded when the Giant Monster version of Nemesis is defeated in a zone that he has invaded. So one would think that you have to participate in the fight, but perhaps not. It's all a Nemesis Plot On the other hand I have been in events where he should hav spawned and it glitched, he never shows up and no badge dings
  7. Were you part of a team or a league involved in the attack before going afk? I find it hard to believe that anyone just sitting in the zone gets the badge if they haven't hit nemesis a few times.
  8. Okay a Nemesis attack wave occurred this morning, KR/Talos/Pi/Founders all attacked as per usual Nothing right away in Skyway or Steel..... After crushing him into tinfoil in Talos, I logged to an alt in Skyway......no attack. But there was a Troll Rave. Nemesis attack did not occur until sometime after Troll Rave was complete. Logged into alt at Steel...no attack. But there was a burning building. After that event was done, approx 15 minutes after came the Nemesis.
  9. Okay more event notes: Kallsti Wharf was in Beta server only back before the lights went out, as a result the event was never adjusted for Nemesis to attack there. Too bad, gathering under Statesman's statue for a battle royale against the Nemesis would be nice. As the 2+ hour mark from the last invasion occurs, recommend you get the alt that you want the badge on and standby for the alert followed by the channel broadcasts of someone forming the league. Wherever the league leader wants to gather is where you gather, you must gather as one League with at least 10 members in the same spot to ensure he spawns and that he will spawn where you are at. Multiple leagues at different spots means he only spawns at one of them. If there is a Rikti or Zombie event occurring the Nemesis attack should not occur until after those other events are done, this can push the 2+ hour count down up a bit. You can only get the badge once per alt, so while you can farm for xp/inf and fake nems for that defeat badge, if you have alts that you want the badge on, as soon as the GM is down and the badge dings, grab an alt and go another zone and see if you can face him again.
  10. You have to attack the GM either solo and do enough damage to qualify or else be in a league and do enough damage to qualify Nemesis should make the usual "I shall return" type of speech as he withdraws
  11. Finally the event is upon us! This event provides one of the rarest badges as it is an event that tends be only once per year. Some say that Avoids the Green Stuff in Keyes is rarer but Trials and Taskforces can be run any time of the year. The other Nemesis units that spawn are good for XP and Inf, and of course the Fake Nemesis should count towards the badge for defeating 100 of them. The event occurs at intervals, I did some timing and it is roughly two to three hours from previous event to the next one. Keyword is roughly, I may be off a bit. When the event starts the Nemesis speech will occur as an alert in your chat window, on blue side he appears to simultaneously attacking: Kings Row Skyway City Steel Canyon Talos Island Founders Falls Peregrine Island Port Oakes Cap Au Diable Nerva Archipelago St. martial Grandville Some zones seem more preferred by players then others, such as Talos Island and Peregrine, but assemble a league at a zone of your choice that is under attack. Once the GM/Nemesis is defeated the fight against the rest of the Nemesis continues until time runs out. If you do not gather 10 or more players the GM will not spawn and the event will eventually run out the clock. If your league is too weak, he will decimate you, remember he is a giant monster and hits like one. HARD! Also remember that when you defeat a Nemesis Lieutenant the rest of them get a Vengeance buff and it can stack. Have also had a glitch occur twice in Founders where we have enough to spawn him, we get the text message to indicate that he is coming, but he does not appear. A dot appears in the north east corner of the map, but he isn't there and I have patrolled the zone but he is nowhere to be found. Not sure if this is a bug or he spawned by another group that was elsewhere in the zone.
  12. There are 2 gladiator badges like that, one is for Mu Guardians the other for Sky Raider force field units, I know of no defeat badges that are like that.
  13. HE CAME!........I SAW HIM!......... I KICKED HIS CHASSIS! ONE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY BADGES!! That's every badge in the game! (At least for now!)

  16. So I am thinking hosting weekly arena events where we can obtain some of the elusive/buggy badges in the game, the Arena badges. Therefore starting this Tuesday, March 31st at 9pm Eastern time I shall do some arena hosting. The plan is to work the Pentad badge either via a Pentad or Septad gathering in the arena, then after both teams win that badge, we break up into teams of 3 to work the Arena Survivalist badge for winning a Battle Royale and then if there are at least 8 people left in the gathering after those two badges I can run the group through the buggy arena to get Tournament Victor/Swiss Draw badge. I know the Arena is buggy, but I am confident I can work around the bugs to get us the badges. Please note that Swiss Draw is the buggiest one of them all. This first Arena badge farm shall be in Pocket D, Tuesday March 31st at 9pm Eastern, provided that enough sign up for it. So below is the sign up list for those that are interested in going for the Pentad arena badge, it requires two teams of 5, but each team can only be ONE of each Hero/Villain AT, except for the VEATS and Khelds. Also the alignment of the AT doesn't matter, just what AT it is Please indicate toon name and AT 1. Tank: 2. Scrapper: 3. Blaster: 4. Controller: 5. Defender: Team two: 1. Brute: I shall be bringing the brute 2. Stalker 3. Mastermind 4. Dominator 5. Corruptor EDIT: to clarify, this is not my first rodeo with the arena 🙂

  19. Hm free movement without alignment.....no. To do that would nearly defeat the purpose of alignments in the first place.
  20. The Psionic Brass Conduits are clockwork bosses that send energy to the Paladin that make it invulnerable to attack. Until all 12 are defeated you cannot fight the Paladin. Conduits can be taken down with relative ease, the real trick is finding them and noting their locations which are always the same.
  21. The Efficiency Expert badge is easy to get, the main problem is if you suffer a power or internet connection failure that doesn't get resolved in time. So adding this to Ouroborus would be good. Arena: debug it and add the ability to have "arena bots" to fight in lieu of actual players. Not sure what you mean by unlock explore badges for everyone, at level 1 if you are a stalker you can go anywhere except the Hive, and Abyss, and PVP Zones. so at level 1 you could ghost around and rack up a lot of map badges and plaques. Also a badge that I try t forget how much I hate is the Avoids the Green Stuff in the Keys Trial. I grow weary of people not turning off their TP prompt, or having alleged lag spikes that keep them from moving away in time and thus costing that badge for the whole league. Incandescence is great to have in that trial but ti doesn't guarantee a badge win. Can be adjusted to fail only for the person or persons that get trapped and not the whole league?
  22. Anniversary badges are per alt, not account wide. So when May rolls around and the next Anniversary badge is active log all your alts in to get it on all of them,
  23. Yep 100 merits each, stock up on merits for all alts that you want to get them on, or convert merits to hero merits for easy transfer to an alt who can then flip them back into regular merits.
  24. Favorite badges? hard to say there are many. The easiest ones to get are the map badges and plaque badges. The only map badge that is a mild problem to get is the Unabashed badge from atop the Rikti ship which requires a ship raid. No big deal. Among my least favorite: 1. Buddy: for 100 Hami buds. I don't like Hami raids, and repeat runs of LGTF get monotonous. 2. Warburg Rocket badge, I made a post a week or so back about how the launch rocket 10 times requirement should be lowered to either 3 or 5. The war burg rockets are basically unnecessary to have as a temp power, and getting the launch codes involves escorting 3 techs through a hazard zone. Can't use stealth or run too fast as you have to back to get them and of course the potential for other players to interfere. It should be changed to either the techs giving the codes upon being rescued, or only one tech needed instead of 3, or else change badge criteria to 5 or 3 instead of 10. 3. The Arena Badges: first the Arena is in need of being debugged as it tends to lock up and not launch matches which is a shame as I'd rather PvP in the arena then in the zones. Also the Swiss Draw match was broken before the game went dark and unless you know the trick to getting it, which is not an exploit but simply understanding the glitch in the award system of the badge then it cannot be obtained. Also needing 8 people for it can be a hindrance. Add the ability to spawn "Arena bots" to fight in lieu of players. The player still needs to defeat the bots to get the badge but they can still solo the arena when other players cannot be found. 4. The Paladin event in Kings Row, any time frame for repair? As for new badges, well map and plaques for Kallisti Wharf would be nice. Also, given that Summer Blockbuster is year round and that Nul the Gull can warp us to special areas that currently serve no purpose, perhaps Nul can be used to warp people to the special version of Atlas where it is always Halloween and have some of the Halloween event running like the Haunted House?
