Yeah back in the day an alt of mine had super speed and easily got them, but that isn't my favorite travel power by far and none of my alts have it now, even the rebuilt one that did have it back then. Basically though, with just the buff station even a Level 1 should be able to do the ski slopes.

Frozen Fury: defeat the Winter Lord. Gather team of 6+, open presents, defeat any winter horde that spawn from naughty present. Hope for him to spawn, search map and defeat him Cold as Ice: defeat Lady Winter in the mission from Father Time in Ski Chalet. Note: only need to defeat her once, but the mission can be farmed for winter horde and tuatha defeat badges. Running mission again lets you choose another reward from the reward table. Run up to 5 times for all rewards. Pro tip: you may want to run this mission 5 times for the rewards rather then Baby New Year as Baby New year is a rescue/escort mission. Update: door sitters will get this badge even if they do not engage her in battle. Cold Warrior: defeat 100 winter horde Lord/lady of Winter: form a league of 12+ and LFG queue into Lord of Winter event. Fight the Lord of Winter, defeat his guardian 3 times then defeat him. Edit: must be level 10 minimum to participate in this. Crystalized: win either baby new year mission or lady winter mission and select this reward. Can also be purchased with candy canes Frosty: see Crystalized Joyful: see Crystalized Miraculous: see Crystalized Gift Getter: receive a duplicating gift from another player if you don't already have it, alternatively go present hunting. Gift Giver: give the duplicating gift to another player if they don't already have it Toy Collector: collect 200 presents, note: clicking a present only counts for you and not teammates. You will also receive Winter Horde Gladiator badge. Protip: do NOT camp a spawn point for a present, it will not respawn. defeating any winter horde will help it respawn faster, but they will eventually despawn on their own. Protip 2: you do need a team clicking presents and defeating the snowmen to spawn Winter Lord, but once that is done you are better off soloing this badge as teammates clicking presents does not count towards your badge. Also this is the only way to get the Winter Horde gladiator badge so if you are a badge hunter looking for them all, you have to get this one. Longbow reservist/Jetsetter, Cold Front, Gifted, Frostbitten and Festive: these are the old login badges from past winter events. Obtain them via redeeming candy canes at the vendor in the Ski Chalet. Toothbreaker: defeat Snaptooth 5 times. He is the boss guarding baby New Year. So you need to do that mission 5 times. Pro tip: you have to escort baby New year out of the mission....which means 5 missions to get this badge. OR: you can defeat Snaptooth, log out to reset the mission and defeat him 4 more times. You also get Red Cap gladiator badge. I find the mission reset preferable to escorting Baby New Year out then speak to Father Time again and again again. Running the Lady Winter mission multiple times for all rewards is better. Also if you somehow do not get Toothbreaker during Winter Event you can also get it in Spring Event. Update: Lowbie doorsitters can get Toothbreaker even if they are not actively fighting Snaptooth. Pro tip: in the Baby New Year mission: to get the key you only need to defeat the Winter Horde Group that has the Winter Guard in it

Correct a kinetic buffer is the more standard way of getting the medals, and there is also the "teleport chain" method of a team with everyone having recall friend. But the Base empowerment method is great for this time of year when the event isn't officially running and some players are likely not even thinking of the ski slopes. :)

Okay so the ski slope appears to be open year round, yay! Here's how you could get the 3 badges from each ski slope, total of 6. Bronze, Silver and Gold depending on your finish time. Prestige power slide + flight speed boost, run speed boost and jump speed boost from your base's empowerment buff station. use flight on its own to travel the slopes and you should easily get bronze medal. Or activate prestige power slide and get near the finish line then stop and wait until you know you are in the bronze medal time frame. on the advanced ski slope, if you can get to the portal that warps you to the second half of the slope with 21 seconds on the clock you are doing good. There will be that part where you can drop and go under the chunk of ground or jump onto it and keep going. Either way risks time loss but with run and jump speed boosted from your base empowerment station, time the jump right and you sail right over it and back onto the track and keep on cruising. Other then that, keep practicing. Also afterburner can be handy as an inertial reduction.

Having played all the story content and trials/TF's etc on my main character I am now working on other alts and do not mind the slow pace of adding new content. I'd rather see: 1. The game continue to survive, which means holding the line against NCSoft and hopefully get their corporate blessing. 2. Would like to see the devs obtain a list of all the bugs and glitches that were never fixed prior to shut down and debug them. If they can contact Positron or BaB for help that would be even better 3. Occasional new story new content, such as perhaps the restoration of Hero 1 from his Honoree contamination. 4. Perhaps a new AT once a year. Maybe released during the holidays as a gift to the players.

Well that's fine. I'm glad you caught the stability issue before server reactivation. 🙂

Soloing the TF's is great but the trick is to be able to withstand the AV or AVs in it. To wit: being able to debuff their regeneration. Purchasing some venomous daggers from the VIP Vendor can help with that, also having your shivan shard temp power from Bloody bay. However if you are attempting to solo any of the high level TF's on Master Badge settings (no defeats and no temp powers) then the daggers and shivans won't be available. For them, I would suggest Longbow T3 or T4 core pets and diamagnetic T4 radial for the regen debuffage. Another important thing: whether it is a high or low level TF, how is your defense cap? 45% Smash/Lethal is key, if you can get to 45% in those 2 and also 45% in melee or range, or aoe, or energy, or fire/cold or some combination thereof, you are doing well. Remember that we can have up to 3 builds per character and /selectbuild 1, /selectbuild 2 and /selectbuild 3 are the switch commands. I try to design at least 2 builds, with build #2 being the low/mid level build that is defense capped to switch over to when I need to exemp down. Build #1 is the overamped, min/maxed, defense capped, regen/recovery/recharge capped with T4 in all incarnate powers which adds up to PHENOMENAL COSMIC POWER!!!!!!!!!!

Trust me, unless someone found a doozy of a loophole or something, the only winter badges available now are the 6 ski slope badges, the trucker badge, and any badge you can get for candy canes from the vendor in the ski chalet. There are about 18 winter event badges total There is the Baby New Year mission which you will need to run 5 times to get the defeat Snaptooth 5 times badge, which also gives a gladiator badge There is the defeat Lady Winter mission Get a team together and collect presents in a zone until a giant winter lord spawns, defeat it for a badge Start up a league and use the LFG tab to warp to the realm of Lord Winter and defeat that giant for a badge Collect 200 presents for badge + gladiator badge

You don't need to be an incarnate to farm out the badges. Back in the day I had a tank that I kept at level one and farmed out the damage badges. He ran around at level one with the Immortal badge title. Hold badges can be farmed out with any enemy that can hold you without defeating you, i just find sappers to be the best but mileage varies. A rad corr of mine back in the day, at level one it could heal others so I turned off xp and had a level 1 empath titled character running around after awhile. With XP turned off at level 1 you could in theory farm up the money badges.....though for that you may want to door sit in non ae farms

For the hold badges, I just get a malta mission and stand in front of a sapper after clearing the rest of the room. Do not go into rest mode as that can sometimes be lethal, but rather use /selectbuild 2 and switch to an unslotted build to remove your defenses and io buffs.

Also about 12 to 15 hours in the arena with the 3 longbow wardens doing their heals and as many of the lost cost gladiators that you can bring in will get you the heal badges

If you dont have someone with a healer that wants to work healing badges at the same time, then no. I use a +4 CoT guide also

I found that setting the mission to +4 and using contrl+click to set ion judgement to auto to be the best

Sometimes when using rest mode with the sappers you can be defeated. The better way to negate your defenses is to use the command /selectbuild 2 or /selectbuild 3

Dark Watcher and Black Scorpion offer some nice missions for farming Nemesis. As to the incarnate CoT and other enemies at that level i street sweeped Dark Astoria.

That's good to hear but as an FYI, if you just log out at the tunnel that takes you out of First Ward the DJ job will accumulate time even if the icon isn't there. As I think back to the first era of CoH, the icon was a bit buggy. Possibly due to the other specific DJ locations in that zone.

The error is back. If I quickly double click homecoming I can launch but Tequila i still crashing

Well my Tequila crashes half way through the download of whatever its downloading. I have an exception for it and the entire coh folder in my AV....unless malwarebytes is somehow flagging it but I don't think so as it never sends an alert. So now I have to launch tequila and quickly double click homecoming before the crash and if it time it right CoH launches. So what else can be done?
