  1. @Darkir how are finding the damage output at 50? I’m currently at 34, most attacks slotted with Thunderstrike and the damage is … underwhelming
  2. @Sir Myshkin I'm really liking the look of this SS/RAD brute build and thinking of respec'ing my brute into it (my current build is here: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/26810-ssrad-build-help/?do=findComment&comment=353377). A couple of Q's if you wouldn't mind: 1. Why Meltdown over Ground Zero? GZ has a nice 15% def debuff, is an AoE attack (431 dmg in my build) and can be proc slotted - including resist debuff. Meltdown doesn't do much to your already capped resits, and adds 30% dmg. In real world play terms - is this significantly different? 2. I've never played a resist only character - how survivable is your build? I also wanted to acknowledge your awesome builds and say thank you - my Energy/Rad blaster proc monster is one of my favourite toons to play.

    SS/Rad Build Help!!

    I've crafted this build, tweaking what @Meknomancer had. I'll try it out tonight to see how it works. Main changes: Added Haymaker to create a ST attack chain that works at lower levels (I'll often run lower TF's) Changed ordering of powers to support lower level play and make it more playable as the build progresses Changed slotting in Beta Decay to make it Damage over ToHit orientated; Added in a HO Reduced slots in Radiation Therapy to free up slots for Haymaker being added. Added in Zinger proc to Radiation Therapy, increasing overall damage Moved Unrelenting Fury to Haymaker and 6 slotted it Moved 3x Brutes Fury to Punch Added Summon Widow. So, single target attacks are: Haymaker, Punch, Knockout Blow and Gloom. AoE's are Rad Therapy, Handclap, Foot Stomp, Ground Zero and Dark Obliteration. Beta Decay as an Aura. This is probably too many attacks, but it gives a nice chain at any level. Things to test: Summon Widow. No idea how this will go, thought it might be nice to have a sidekick adding some damage. Will test and learn. Beta Decay as Damage Aura. No idea how the damage ticks will actually work. Timing of attack chains. I've not tried Haymaker, so don't know how well this will fit together. Something I'm unsure of is how to use the Fury power. Should I be popping it when ever it's up? And the crash... just attack through it? Thoughts and feedback welcome. Build below.

    SS/Rad Build Help!!

    @Meknomancer letting you know I'm enjoying this build and am currently at level 44. I've got a few thoughts for how I might tweak things for me and will try and post a revised build next week in case you're interested. Initial thoughts: This is a really fun build! Late picking of attack chain doesn't allow for easy exemplaring of content. Perhaps an early haymaker would help? My reading suggests a single HO in Beta Decay would be sufficient, freeing two slots I'm seeing handclap as an 'Oh Shi*!' power, or a damage mitigation power, not sure about the slotting. ~60 points for PSI damage on activation seems weak. I'm wondering if the slots are better used elsewhere. I only just leveled to 44, so I'm not sure what the stun duration is and need to actually play and use the power this a bit more before making a call. I don't *need* a travel power - Athletic run works ok for me. Wondering what a better use of those powers might be? (I like fold space - though with a brute is it needed? or maybe Summon Widow?) For what it's worth, this is my 'all content' brute.
  5. I notice that your Defence is 6-10% over soft cap, and Shadow Meld takes it WAY over soft cap. Is there a reason for this?
  6. I'm enjoying this build so far (currently at 40). It hits like a sledge hammer, and is a little slower in animation than I like (more akin to BS or Lightening over Claws / Savage which 'flows' a lot faster). It also uses *alot* of end - enough that I can't currently keep all my toggles up and actually attack. Looking to slot out Energy Absorption and try and get it perma as quickly as possible.
  7. Interesting build, I'd love to hear how it plays now and any improvements anyone has to offer. There's a similar build here using Leviathan over Soul Mastery which I'm currently trying. At 40 now, and looking for a Red Side guide to get the patron powers!
  8. So my new favourite trick is to Buildup --> Throw a Ball Lightening into the mob --> Savage Leap --> Giggle like a girl as the Ball Lightening + Savage Leap land at the same time and decimate the mob

  10. Love your builds, trying this one now. Lvl 39 so far - end is an issue, but it's pretty fun. What have you slotted in Feral Charge? It looks like Hecatomb, but Pines isn't showing that as an option for slotting for me.

  13. Loving my stalker @ 50, now looking to kit her out. My general play style is: * Shield charge in (*bam*) * Single target / attack chain (*whollap*) until no one is left standing * Moonbean or Soul Storm any runners (*pewpew*) More damage would be appreciated. I don't tend to get hit much. Also looking for Incarnate advice, as I just unlocked Alpha. I like the powers I have, though I probably have two many attacks. Sweeping Cross and Spinning strike could probably go. Not really sure what to replace them with. I don't see many builds for this power combo, so any advice is appreciated.   15. I'm looking for build help to max out damage and get a bit more defence/resist in my knock 'em down blaster, which is insanely fun to play. My current live build as follows. Note, it's geared for recharge, which has me popping Nova every fight. I'd like to keep as much recharge as possible maximise my damage increase my defence and resists The Sudden Acceleration tax sucks, but is worth it to be constantly putting baddies on their ass, and I'm not inflicting KB on team mates. I'm not wedded to Flame Mastery epic (though I do *love* Bonfire). Money is not really an issue. I'm happy to plug away at getting purples and ATO's one at a time. Build advice greatly appreciated!   19. I feel the power of /dark is in it's debuffs. If you took the strategy of maximising -tohit, -def, and -regen, what level of defence and resits do you really need? What would a debuff/damage/recharge optimised build look like?
