The Demon/Storm bringer of chaos.......this was my first toon I created when I logged on to HC for the first time and my first 50 as well. Such a fun combo with so much mayhem going on with tornado, lightning storm, freezing rain and all the demons going crazy. With the MM playstyle and storms the biggest issue will be endurance so you'll need to keep that in mind, the MM's truest attack chain are the pets with your attacks being the added seasoning to the chaos and with LS,FR and nado offering extra damage........well it's the cherry on top. As for how to play the AT and pairing........that's up to what works for you and how you like to play but I've found MM's can't really be pigeonholed into a specific role and are more "all things" type of creation. You can control with some builds, defend with others, bring insane damage, keep everyone safe with healing or shields and last but certainly not least you can be an insane buffer or debuffer while still bringing damage. I'll log onto my other computer that has my builds and post my demon/storm. While she may not be the prettiest she is quite nasty to give you an idea.

Necro/cold is a fantastic combo.....very strong with all the recent updates to necro. Another solid pairing would be necro/storm........can never go wrong with storm. A Dark horse is necro/thermal because flaming zombies are awesome

Imps be squishy and run off everywhere......they either die or aggro more mobs. Ill/dark is a beast that can do so many things

I like that it's a toggle and since I play in melee range most of the time it helps my pets stay alive so I'm not just pumping my heal. Think I went with numi since I slotted the Panacea proc in health but either way would work

With the changes to necro it really took my necro/cold MM to a whole new level of nastiness. The crits from the knight, paired with the debuffs from sleet and the Lich.......so much undead carnage

Here's my demon/pain build to maybe give you some ideas. Very solid with good defense and resist to s/l. Pets are very sturdy with the buffs that pain offers them and with sorcery thrown in for some added goodies. I also slot the soulbound proc in my demons with my Demon Prince having cold and hold procs slotted which really seem to pay off. On my dark/savage dom I originally had a proc'd version with heart of darkness, rending flurry and feral charge all proc'd out. Tactic was to leap in with feral charge and then hit HoD followed by rending flurry and watch everything drop, was so much fun -

Have you considered dark/savage.......very fun combo. I've leveled dark/earth, dark/dark, dark/psi up to 50 as well but the dark/savage was just a fun ride. -
Fun is anything paired with storm for pure, beautiful chaos......demons, bots or undead all love the storms. As @PLVRIZR mentions the updated necro/dark builds are a blast and like he also states.........I like me some Dark Miasma. Dark lets you do some insane things with all the debuffs/control type powers it has to keep you and your pets standing.

@Mr. Apocalypse, based on your current build I've modified it a bit to get some slightly different results. Not knowing how you like to play....such as do you just like to command your pets and sit back to oversee everything or do you prefer to jump in and attack as well. As @kelika2 mentions different suggestions for the build, there is not one way to make MM's but many, countless variations based on player preference. With the build I posted the 2 upgrade powers each have 2 slots in them which were left blank, place 2 from a healing set in one to get whatever bonus that interests you and place 2 from a resist set in the other, again for whatever bonus interests you. As people have already stated dark/dark is the classic combo that flows the best however, my current tank that has been a blast to play is dark/rad, even with the upcoming changes to rad melee(irradiated ground). With resists that are insane, strong defenses, debuffs and the combo of damage from the 2 auras it shreds enemies at max settings with little issues. As for the dreaded DDR......I just grab ageless radial epiphany and pop it as needed

The fun thing about dominators is that they vary from player to player. 2 players can have the exact same build but get completely different results based on how they play.......do they mow down entire mobs like a buzzsaw or do they stroll in and maybe toss a confuse and watch the show while picking off the stragglers. I went about making a non hasten dom as a........."wonder what I can do with this kinda thing" as well as being based on me getting easily distracted by things.........my wife describes it as me having the attention span of a 5 year old. It was a lot of work and even more influence as I built and rebuilt to get something I enjoyed but in the end it's just a game and seeing what's possible while still being fun is why I play.

I've made 2......and I love them but it was a hard road but managed to get permadom and good survivability , Mind/dark and dark/dark. If you can achieve permadom without hasten and not sacrifice damage, defense or resists then go for it but if any of these are lost then take hasten

while rad/fire is probably the best farmer in game and can be built for all types of farms. With dark armor......I've always been a fan of dark it offered other things that made it fun......cloak of darkness, cloak of fear and oppressive gloom........it became more of a what can I do with this kinda thing. Came up with a concept and build for that concept and now rebuild again as the concept has slightly changed to not only do s/l but also fire farms
