  1. Let me know approximately when you plan on doing this - would love to run some PUGs with you
  2. If its a character I still enjoy playing - Once Ive unlocked all incarnates and slotted everything, I simply go back to the beginning I start with DFB and work my way up - using my 50 🙂 Sure I cant use all my powers, or get the full effects of my IO's. I enjoy playing, so thats what I do.
  3. I love PUG's, and more times than not I don't worry about the team makeup. I can adjust the level accordingly. For me, its all about having fun, and hopefully helping someone else have fun. As for the speed/kill all confusion - I've said it somewhere else. I do not join speed TF's, under any circumstance. I hate spending however long just chasing after everyone else. If someone lets me know its a speed after joining (but not advertising it that way), I will politely back out and move along. No hard feelings. When I put together a TF, my instructions at the beginning are simple . Not a speed, or a kill all. Just have fun. I hate to hear that so many of you are against PUG's, but I also hate hearing the horror stories you guys tell when you decide to join one. Maybe its all in the mindset - who knows. I enjoy them, so I overlook the bad experiences. You guys hate the, so the bad times are magnified.
  4. You must have the worst luck in the world - or maybe its karma 🙂 I regularly run PUG +2 ITFs so the non 50's will join - and they usually do. The biggest problem I ever run into is getting them to Cimerora. Not everyone has a buddy who will hold their hand through the higher level content. I never mind slow rolling through anything to help someone, or a group of someone's who may be experiencing a certain TF/Arc/Mish for the very first time. Now dont get me wrong. There are times I am not in the mood - and in those instances, I stay away from forming anything.
  5. I like where you're going with this
  6. In the beginning, buy enhancements from the store. I usually don't until around level 9
  7. I know certain sellers will hate it, but I think its not a bad idea. Or at the very least, have a warning pop up that you have to acknowledge if bidding a certain amount over the average high
  8. I actually have a few names on my ignore list Most are for the same reason - It drives me crazy when someone is putting together a TF, and then ignores tells. If you don't want my alt, say so. Say something for heavens sake. I have always sent polite tells, asking to join. If I'm ignored, and then still see the person asking for more members, I put them on ignore. I also have someone on there who decided to spam LF DFB in all caps, on every channel, every few seconds or so. This was during the weekday (for me anyways) and went on for roughly 30 minutes before I had enough.
  9. something? Thats an understatement 🙂
  10. Gotta take into account when you're trying to put your team together. What else is going on ? Mass runs on the weekly's ? A costume contest ? A couple just filled lowbie TFs/Teams ? Whenever I do feel the urge to put together a team, I am usually able to get us to 7/8 players - 6 is my goal (am actually thinking of purposely putting together 4 person teams, for the challenge) For the first time ever, I tried putting together a Posi 1 earlier today, and got absolutely no one. After 15 minutes, I gave up. No biggie. Ill try again later today after I watch my team dismantle West Brom (EPL fans will get it ) 🙂
  11. Only thing I would add, is to have the names appear in blue for hero and red for villain - so we can distinguish
  12. This is the exact reason to lead a team First, make it clear that its not a speed run - I always advertise casual or kill all TF's. Sometime I will get someone who joins that will still ask if its a speed run, and I will gladly tell them "nope". Some leave, but most stay. Second, if someone starts taking off, speeding, or doing something you dont want - you (as leader) have the ability to remind everyone "no speed running please". Third, the Kick button is always an option. Me, I've only ever used it once. It was during Pen Yin when someone sped through the last mish, leaving us at the entrance. I asked him/her to come back, and instead was told "no, lets just get it over with" and sent an ATT request. I accepted so the team wouldn't be split, and then kicked the person. No one complained or even said anything. We finished the TF, and other than the one person, we had a good time.
  13. Depends upon the mood I'm in. There have been times I will log off after 30 minutes of looking for a TF to join (that I'm interested in) Sometimes I will put together a TF team. Other times, I will put together and run several TFs - one right after the other. The only time I do not like leading, is when I get bombarded with tells to join. I invariably miss someone, or invite one too man, which causes me to feel bad for most of the run.
  14. I never ask if its a plus, nor do I care. Only two things will make me immediately (and politely) leave 1. If its a speed run - I enjoy playing the game, not wildly chasing after my teammates 2. If I'm invited to a team more than a couple levels above me. When I organize a TF, I always start out at +1x8. Just to see how it goes. If the first mish is smooth, I usually ask if anyone wants it upped before the second mish. Sometimes they do, but mostly I'm told "no"
  15. funny thing is, the one I joined wasnt either. We went in, and surprise !! During the the first fight, someone even said it should be lowered - but 3-4 people said "nah", so we went with it. Think I was sitting on 49, and was just trying to get that last ding for 50 - so I didnt care what we did 🙂
  16. I joined a +3 frostfire the other day - and yes, the first fight or two took a while. Once everyone realized they couldnt run in, and took their time, we actually had fun.
  17. Maybe Imperious is tired of your snarkiness ?
  18. I join random invites - doesnt matter to me if they hit me up and ask first. However, unless I'm on one of my lvl 50's - I immediately back out if the team is more than 1 or 2 levels higher than my toon. Hate the feeling of being useless. If they are a lot lower, I'll gladly help them through a few (sometimes more) missions. For me, its all about playing 🙂
  19. Mine is the first PB I ever made. Got her to 50, and still use her to run all types of TF's (not Citadel. Cant stand Citadel grr) and missions. She just seems to be able to do anything I need. Tank, Blast, and even Heal up to a point.
  20. The idea was to keep high level toons from just running amok, and get low levels toons to enjoy sewer runs again
  21. I agree - was just offering up a way to get people to run sewers again
  22. Well, not for you Snarky The Great Everyone else will enter the sewer, and become level one. They will then arrest the required amount of villains - (or maybe make it a level requirement. Attain 8 or 10 levels in the sewers, and get the badge) - they will then be awarded the badge. You however, wont. No matter what you do, you'll never get it. You'll sit in your room and cry about how its not fair. You'll have temper tantrums. You'll beg and plead. Probably even quit.....for about an hour. You'll keep trying to make new toons. Even on different computers in different countries. All to no avail. Somehow the Devs have found a way to punish you. For no matter how hard you try, you'll always have 1 less badge than everyone else. Any thing else you need clarification on ?
  23. Simple Make a badge that can only be achieved by arresting x-amount of villains in the sewer system. Oh yeah, put a level restriction on it so 50's dont just go stomping through.
  24. First one might have only been you - or a select few. My first 50 back in the day was an emp defender who never got a moments rest. If I wasnt on a team, I was being messaged asking me to join. Think I hit 50 pretty quickly, just by joining a ton of pick up groups When HC relaunched, my first toon was an emp defender - my how things have changed. I now go days without finding a team. Im right there with you 100% on the sewer run - those were a nightly tradition for me
