  1. Yes, exactly! For instance in my build. I don’t regularly use the shields or combat junping but I took them so I could slot an enhancement that gives a global bonus like psi res or global recharge. I don’t intend to ever use the power.
  2. It may depend on some of your other incarnate slots and how you like to play and/or what holes your build might have. The most general advice is to use incarnates to provide WSs with some status protection since they don't really get it in their power set. Maybe you took Clarion Destiny for that so perhaps you want more damage and go the Assault Hybrid route. Or maybe you have a lot of defense IO bonuses but needed some extra % so you took Barrier Destiny and use the Melee Hybrid for some mez protection. Also, maybe you use the stuns and wanted to rock the Control Hybrid to do extra damage to foes stunned, immobilized, or held and also +1 Mag. I haven't tried it yet (maybe I'll jump on test and try) but say you have enough recharge to have 3 fluffies out and you wanted to help support them while you pound away in Dwarf and took the Support Hybrid route. The support numbers are doubled for pets! I hope that helps a little. What other incarnates do you plan to take and what powers do you use the most on your WS?
  3. Yeah any attack power of your choice. I have mine in Bright Nova Bolt since I don't use it anymore (glinting eye is usable in nova form) and just used the default slot.
  4. Let's team up sometime and I can show you how I play mine :D Yeah, sets really help fill in holes or improve on traits you already have but the slotting mindset is a lot different. Speaking of Solar Flare, I just added that into my build in place of gleaming blast. They do about the same but because I'm usually in melee range anyway, I'd rather hit more targets. It's slotted with the full 6 Superior Kheldian's Grace.
  5. Yeah my PB has 212.5% recharge and my heals are up in 16s lol and Essence boost is perma too. I'm way more durable than my WS. I also don't have to worry about stats effects as much. I use the dwarf flare in my AoE attack chain along with the nova AoEs. That's another thing I like about my PB too is when I'm on teams, all my buffs are pre-engagement so I can go in all buffed out and kill everything with the team.
  6. Thanks for the compliment ;D They are strictly for the set mules because I shift a lot lol. I wanted to be able to take more psi damage. Since we have essence boost and two heals we can take psi damage purely with hit points but at higher levels I really wanted to tank everything without having to watch my HP bar. Plus, being on a team can boost the Psi on top the 50% I have. If I'm exempting below Light Form my team adds some and I use dwarf to play more of a tanker role a if I'm below dwarf I just kill things in nova form. I have all the sets attuned so I have some bonuses across all levels. If anyone wants to see how I play the forms let me know. I play on Excelsior right now and I'm always down to team up!
  7. One thing that is new is the bubble-less shields power customization in Icon. I.E. Shining Shield will give you the eyes if you don’t want to be flying and Thermal Shield will give your body a good PB effect.
  8. 90% of peacebringer glory is Light Form + human melee + Nova until everything is dead, then Dwarf form if everything is not dead but Light Form is off cooldown. It doesn't have the complexity or nuance of MFWarshade, but it's ready out-of-the-box once you get things unlocked. One of the Kheldian's Grace enhancements is called Form Enhancement or something, and is 100% worth getting ASAP as it gives Nova a noticeable damage buff. Definitely slot the Archetype IOs because they provide excellent bonuses to what ever build you may be going for. At least dedicate a couple powers to 6 slot. I find PBs to be more survivable and WSs have more damage. But you can build them similarly. They both have a T9 resistance power, +Damage/Tohit power, resurrect power, heals, ST and AoE attacks, intangible/stealth/movement, mutli-T9 nukes, and endurance recovery. One supplies it naturally the other needs enemies. Biggest differences PBs have a psionic hole but more HP and WSs have a better psi res and longer pets
  9. Yeah right now I'm 50% res to Psi and Essence boost recharges when LF crashes so as my health drops to 50% I get it all back instantly and more HP. Just have to pay attention lol. I have Hasten set for auto and if I'm distracted and LF drops then I get beat up but having dwarf with hi res too just means I can pop into that real quick to manage incoming damage/heal then pop out and get LF going again.
  10. I'll try and make one up and if anyone wants to input some stuff in we can compile some fight examples.
  11. Yeah that's really the big reason WSs do more damage. If the pets were more even, it'd be neck and neck. PB FTW though :P
  12. My PB has 85% all but psi, 50% to psi, max HP, status resist, a little under 200% damage, 3 heals, endurance management, defense debuff (you never miss) and my favorite part: completely self sufficient no matter if it's one enemy, no enemy, twenty, a giant monster, or an Archvillain. :P
  13. Check it out! https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,5139.0.html
  14. The play my PB by changing forms all the time. I have Nova bound to G and Dwarf to V. The way I look at it is if I hit G I get a damage and tohit bonus instantly and if I hit V I get mezz protection, res and heal. I pop in and out of forms to get powers off cooldown like Light Form, Hasten, Essence Boost, and Inner Light. I even chain my human, nova and dwarf aoe attacks. I can get a good rotation with nova scatter, nova detonation, dwarf flare (repeat) and every now and then pop a photon seeker+dawn strike one-two punch. My ST attack chain depends on what’s attacking me but usually nova blasts, radiant strike, and incandescent strike. Ever since they updated the form changes to become instant, I don’t really see a downside to them other than having to worry about slotting for IOs.
  15. Gleaming bolt now works in Dwarf form with a better -def debuff but lower range. Glinting Eye works in Nova form now and does more damage than both Nova Bolt and Nova Blast, so I slot that one up good because it gives me a good nova attack and human form attack.
  16. You could slot it with tohit for sure or end mod if you didn't slot much end redux into the powers, heck even fly speed if you like being in nova form a lot. I slotted tohit when I leveled up because it helped me land those opening shots and then my powers reduced def and then I never really missed. Once I got into IO sets I only slot the Gaussian's Synchronized Fire Control Chance for Build Up proc.
  17. Actually, I'm wrong when I say capped flight speed. Sorry! I know Quantum Acceleration gives you "max flight" but I was wrong in thinking that's the cap. You can bump that up by slotting Energy Flight, Swift, and Quantum Acceleration with fly enh. Here's a reference of someone's test: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,4702.msg35929.html#msg35929 because I am always stretched thin with slotting my PB, I never bothered putting anything into them. I usually slot Energy Flight with Freebird +Stealth and Quantum Acceleration with LotG.
  18. Quantum Acceleration will stack with Energy Flight and swift (which obviously is auto) and you'll get capped fly speed without any enhancements as well as some def and better flight control. Quantum Flight makes you intangible for 30s, gives you some stealth, and has a much higher end cost but it will not stack with Energy Flight, only swift. Both powers will tag you with "Only Affecting Self" *Edit* Quantum Flight stacks with Quantum Acceleration as well. I take both of them because until I have enough recharge to perma LF, Quantum Flight is a nice "oh shit" button to avoid damage even avoid a Alpha Strike. It's a nice tool in the toolbox even when I have my LF perma. I take Quantum Acceleration for the obvious capped flight speed, but it also serves as a great LoTG Def/7.5% Global Recharge IO mule.
  19. Since PBs are a jack of all trades, master of none, I had to use incarnates to get enough damage to overcome the Pylon's regen. These are the ones I used during the test: Alpha - Musculature Lore - Polar Lights For the full incarnate set I look for things to fill in what I'm lacking depending on what I'm fighting it can be damage, regen, and status effects. Having perma light form and white dwarf covers a lot of general play, but when I start doing incarnate stuff the status effect mag goes up and sometimes I need clarion. Typically my incarnate load out is: Alpha - Musculature Core Paragon (I want all the damage I can get) Destiny - Rebirth Radial Epiphany (I don't need the HP boost because Essence Boost does that) Judgement - Ion Core Final (Personal preference, I like the jump effect and it hits 40 targets) Interface - Reactive Core Flawless (I've also been experimenting with Degenerative Core Flawless but anything that helps me kill stuff) Lore - Polar Lights Core Superior Ally (Kinda thematic here and they do a lot of AoE, for killing AVs or anything, Warworks or Longbow for the -regen) Hybrid - Assault Core Embodiment (more damage and auto +10% damage) I'll try the record how fast I can do a pylon with all of my incarnates
  20. Welcome to the awesome world of Kheldians! Check out my build for some IO tips. I have capped HP, Res to all but psi (my Psi res is at 50%). I've made LF, Hasten, Essence Boost, and Inner Light all perma. Take a look at some of the stuff I did with the IOs and I can explain anything if you have questions :D https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,5139.0.html You don't really need to add any fly enhancements because Energy Flight + Quantum Acceleration + Swift is already at cap. I wouldn't put anything in there except maybe a IO proc like Freebird Stealth or Winter's Gift. I use Quantum Flight as an "oh shit" power. For instance, I'm not paying attention and my LF crashes and I start taking lots of damage, I just pop that to recover health and get my LF going again and then phase back into the fight. It really doesn't need anything but the basic slot and maybe and EndRedux. The phase only lasts 30s and then you're locked out for 30s. There is a recharge cap of 400% which you won't really ever reach unless you're on a league or something and there's a bunch of Rads, Time, Kinetics peeps buffing you. My PB currently has 142.5% global recharge before Hasten (then 212.5%). You can now use the eye beam attacks in nova form and they do more damage then the 'blast" power so it's a good power to take first for human or nova attack chain. My vote for you to start is get your guy up to 50, see what powers you really enjoy using and focus on those first, even using just basic IOs. When you get into sets the slotting changes dramatically. Like in my build I only have Inner Light and Hasten with the default slot and one recharge IO. I can save those other 4 slots for other bonuses. I built mine guy for lots of recharge so LF overlaps (because there is a crash that brings your HP and End to 50%) and then I built for Psi res so I can tank pretty much anything (even in nova form). The attacks you took from the primary are pretty much the human attacks I like to use too. Photon Seeks and Dawn Strike are worth taking too. Consider both of them to be PBAoE attack-mini nukes. Dawn strike recharges pretty fast for me too. I would slot your heals for the most recharge and heal you can get. At least until you have more recharge built into your build. We only have resistance and no basic psi res but having the heals up more means you can take more. Essence boosts' +HP is huge in keeping you alive too. I wouldn't slot the rez that much because hopefully you're not dying, and if you do, it's just to get you back up on your feet. PBs have so many powers our slots are very important. Without typing too much I hope this helps a little. =] -Orivon
  21. I don't think we should try to change the game mechanics too much. Just make some small adjustments but for the most part, leave the game as it was at shutdown. KB was designed into the game and if you don't like powers that have that, make a choice to either not use them or learn to use them and direct the chaos.
  22. One of my favorite albums to listen to while playing and the music in Pocket D kinda sounds like this at times. Linkin Park - Reaniamtion - Rnw@y
  23. Seeing as though Empathy came from the days when the best enhancements were SO or Hami-Os they were needed back then and during ED days. It didn't really age as well as the other sets. Now, a question I do have about the current state of Empathy. Does it provide +Absorb? Because maybe making that change to the powers could allow Emps to fill a role that not a lot of us can touch on our builds. We can all manage most of the stats with IOs and Set bonuses, but what about changing that power pool to add a form of +Absorb?
  24. What I found was my eye beam attacks do more in nova form than my nova blast attack. So I slotted that one up which will give me a nicer human form attack if I need it, and used the nova bolt as a set mule.
  25. Sure! I'm at work currently, but I'll work on it later! :D I do have a post of my Tri-Form build in which I used these things.
