I used to take Healix into the Hollows, go invisible and fly around healing heroes who's health was waning while fighting baddies. Then I'd usually fly away quickly, LOL. It was fun to watch them look around to see where the heals came from. I am guilty of KILL HEALING! I plan on doing it again. muhahahahaha

This was my first MMO ever. I was SO thrilled when I got an invite to team! I was promptly tp'd to the highest building in Atlas and then kicked from the team. I paced back and forth, wondering if I had to recreate my character if I jumped to my death. Lesson learned---not everyone in an MMO is nice. After that, I made some real friends, and promised myself that I would always be helpful, especially to newbies.

You guys are making me crey crey....

And why won't it be fixed any time soon? Because

I do not, and never have enjoyed PVP but wish for it to always be available for those who do. There is no right or wrong way to play....there is only the way that is fun for you. This is one of the reasons I love this game so much.

---Scrappers--- A Scrapper is a whole lot like a chainsaw. Somewhat hard to handle, incredibly dangerous, and most fun when wielded by the slightly insane. Running a scrapper is similar to fueling up a lawn mower with nitro-methane, and then aiming it at the bad guys. Every scrapper should have an army trying to kill him, it's the only way the scrapper might have a chance to die. Scrappers do not view "Run!" as an imperative. They view it as a notification that they are now fighting alone.

SirCowdog, you could go with a fantasy name like Kazzenjou, Wato Iago or something like that. My suggestion is Blayzevoid...or if you want to be silly, PyewPyew

Thunder, your story touched me. When I began playing in 2004, it was my first MMO ever and man, was I ever green. The first friend I made (Bal) was wonderful and taught me play strategies, how to slot enhancements, etc. He ran an SG (The Sons of Horus) and I made a few more friends. The sg members all noticed that Bal would do the dance emote every chance he got. It turns out that Bal was a young man in his 20s who's spine was fused and he used a walker. It was only in the game that he could dance and do things he couldn't do in real life that most of us take for granted. This has been more than 'just a game' to me, and so many others for so many reasons. I am so grateful to be able to play again and I want to thank everyone who made this all possible.

Go to the backside of the big building via the side ramps or the stairs inside. The Echo porters are there.

I use Imger too, and this is how I do it Now you can just paste it into your post. The other nice thing in Imger is the 'Edit' button in the dropdown menu. You can resize and fine tune your picture before you post it.

You are correct, Neonin. These old saggy eyeballs had a hard time seeing it till I found that setting. It has made all the difference.

Those were SO much fun to look through! Some of my best screenshots from live were due to game glitches.

You can also use the slime aura (hands, combat only) and color it red so it looks like blood dripping when beating up a baddie.

1000 X YES! This was always a fun area that was laugh-producing and provided a mental margarita. More suggested thread names would be "Funny/Awesome/Weird Pics", "Punny Stuff", "Give this a Caption", "Questions Answered with Questions" among others.

I have set my screenshots in the game Menu>Options>Keymapping set like this: This setting shows NO UI interface in the game so I can get shots without any chat, etc. An example is this mission pic. There was a lot of NPC and team chat and as you can see, the shot is clean with no UI windows. These kind of shots always show up in the folder where you have the game program installed (the CoH folder you created) in 'screenshots'. The very first picture at the top just shows up as the blank grey wall I used to display my keymapping settings. To get pictures with all the UI included, after I hit PrtScr, I open my default picture manager (in my case it is XnView) and click on 'import clipboard'. The shot I took shows up there and I can save it. There is also a screenshot program I have that captures everything. It's called FastStone Capture, and this is the last FREE version. You can capture the entire screen or a selected area.
