Prototelis, you are 100% correct. Leo put himself in the line of fire and took the backlash/threats to protect all the others who helped him. If it weren't for his (and the others) hard work we wouldn't be here right now. His entire purpose was to work in quiet (to avoid legal problems) to present a fully working legit game to EVERYONE. The person who outed his secrecy was not only wrong, but stated all kinds of inaccuracies. Leo is an adviser on Homecoming and lending his genius skills to fixing problems and help where he can. He is a hero to me, and I will always be grateful to him for bringing the game back.

Isn't the whole idea to have FUN? Create whatever your mind is coming up with and enjoy. There is no law that says you need to limit yourself. The only 'limit' are the hours you get to play, but that's the fault of real life LOL.

As long as this server remains a non-profit thing, NCSoft might look the other way since they are not losing any money. *fingers crossed* That being said, In no way will I ever trust NCSoft after what they did and how they ignored the uncountable number of people who petitioned for them to keep the game open/reopen it.

I have. I make sure that the system channel is open first, go into my base>edit mode then follow the instructions /sg_passcode "[word]" = set the base passcode to [word]-<game generatednumer> .......doesn't show up in the channel and won't work.

The Off Topic Forum should be for anything BUT politics, religious differences, etc. (The devs can make this clear in their rules.)

I do. That's where Healix was born, and it had a different 'feel' from Atlas. I'd love to see it back in its full glory rather than just an acho.

No MMO has ever come close to this game and how much enjoyment it's provided, not to mention the amazing family of friends that make up the community. If the people who brought this back to us could read my mind, they would be overcome with emotion and burst into tears. *Thinks of Leo/helpers who labored for years to surprise everyone with a full, working game that NCSoft couldn't touch* I am beyond grateful.

To me, it's fine as it stands. Nothing is going to please everyone.

How do you find out the ID number that is issued to your base?

I think those of us 'old timers' who have played a long time should help people who have never played CoH before discover why the game/community is so special. They will understand why the heart torches have stayed lit for 15 years.

The reason I was on/stayed with the Triumph server on live wasn't because it was deemed "The Pantless Server", but was aptly named "The Friendly Server". It was, and many people teamed with their kids or allowed their kids to play. (The youngest I ever was on a team with was a 9 year-old and she was awesome! Her father sent a tell to all the team to please watch their language in front of his young daughter.) Everyone was respectful of his request, although some would usually make a Marine first sergeant bush with their vocalizations. I hope we will always make our server honor the memory of the man who coined the phrase and be excellent.
