The reason I was on/stayed with the Triumph server on live wasn't because it was deemed "The Pantless Server", but was aptly named "The Friendly Server". It was, and many people teamed with their kids or allowed their kids to play. (The youngest I ever was on a team with was a 9 year-old and she was awesome! Her father sent a tell to all the team to please watch their language in front of his young daughter.) Everyone was respectful of his request, although some would usually make a Marine first sergeant bush with their vocalizations. I hope we will always make our server honor the memory of the man who coined the phrase and be excellent.

Since there is no more Prestige to pay, you lose no influence in sg mode. A base has lots of benefits as it's good for storage and fast travel through the portals. It can be very small and efficient or huge and showy. If you build it yourself you can put things exactly as you want them, because the base-building has been given so much love!

This server, and all others running City of Heroes could still be shut down by NCSoft, so peoples' concerns are legitimate. I totally agree that original/trademarked names of known characters should not be used, just to be on the safe side. I also agree that one of the reasons folks like to create known characters is because of how much they are loved. It's also way more fun AND clever to be creative to create a name for the known character that is the same only different. (“Gamma Monstrositity” for a hulk look-alike is a perfect example of this.) Better safe than sorry. I'd hate to lose this treasure of a game a second time....the first was hard enough.

Star, you can always create a 'special' window for macros only. I posted how on the Macro/bind thread. It's really handy and leaves all other trays free.

There is also a P2W vendor in PD, leaning against the wall on the villain side.

Sometimes it is fun to be EBIL.....the villain side is great and has a different feel, when you need a change.

From 2004 till sunset I played on live with an HP desktop (200 Gig HD)-WinXP-Nvidia AGP card. I couldn't run the ultra mode, but the game ran well. Big teams brought my game play to a slideshow, so I mostly soloed. I now have a gaming rig (Asus RoG-1 T HD-Nvidia GTX 750 card) and can run in Ultra and team with no lag. I can't believe how beautiful the game is!

I don't know what to tell you, Vin. These settings work perfectly for me. I hope someone can help you with it.
