  1. @SeraphimKensai Great run !! Thank you for your contributions.
  2. It's ACCURACY Misses consume endurance Misses are lost damage Misses lead to getting hit more once we are accurate we can chase other priorities and then add buildup and/or aim for more accuracy.
  3. redside needed some more content.

  5. Ooof. I'd suggest Stone Melee over KM. Regeneration, like other sets, has better and worse secondary synergies. I too like secondaries with -tohit, knockdown, or +dmg, etc. @liveevil2000 you might like Regeneration as long as the expectation includes understanding that it is not a defensive/dodging set. Troo, whatchoo mean? Answer: Regeneration characters get hit. Often... well, nearly always. Regeneration heavily rewards tactical awareness. Knowing what targets have slows or nasty debuffs allows prioritization in order to minimize their impact. The reactive nature of the set it can be fun and different. Learning how to time some of the activations can lead to some faceplants, which the player will know could have been avoided. If I were new to the set, I'd consider taking Revive at 28 until I didn't need it anymore. (full disclosure: it's not in any of my builds) If a player is accustom to using inspirations frequently, it has been argued that Regeneration could be the best set when leveraging the tactic. (not my style) _____ ___ ______ Regeneration can be very knife's edgey where we're either comfortably taking hits or things are going south very quickly to where a player better have a plan. My plan at times has been: Cycling a combination of Moment of Glory, Instant Healing, Rune of Protection, & Demonic Aura while applying Darkest Night as needed. These days I am not using Dull Pain perma like I used to. I pop it on occasion if I get to 1/2 health. I and others have done +4/8 challenges on Regeneration characters without Incarnates. I still think the set on a Tank would be overpowered.
  6. its a tougher look to make than I thought
  7. @Cipher @Cipher @Cipher I can't remember if it is 3 players saying their name 3 times or asking for it repeatedly-non-stop-over-years which makes them appear and update. I wish I could just remember.. 😛
  8. Almost to the one year anniversary
  9. Folks check in here from time to time to see if there is anything new. We know the devs are doing things behind the scenes... it could be nice if we had some notice in advance what is being worked on. Or a cryptic peak behind the curtain. An occasional summary of discord discussions... anything.. we're not tough to please when we get hungry (ask Snarky)
  10. Finding the right +__/___ can help. There are a lot of levers without getting into how many players should it take to defeat a target and vice versa.
  11. these two comments fail to sync for me Take Placate, and use it liberally. Placate is one of the most powerful capabilities in the game. Especially earlier in the game. Note: Placate cannot miss. (very dependable) Once we have accolades, full sets of enhancements, epic pool powers, etc it might not be needed anymore and can be dropped during a respecification or on a alternate build. Getting back to a hidden state for the crits definitely can help.
  12. Their name is going to escape me, but there is a player who runs an amazing tour through zones gathering badges and unlocking long range travel access. It is super organized, informative, and they'll offer to help folks if a bit slower. It's the most generous thing I've seen done in game. Personally and aside from offering some start-up funding to red-siders from time to time, I think being patient is helpful. Leading a couple lower level Trials and being sure to explain the badges at least briefly. Death from Below (DFB) level 1+ Drowning in Blood (DiB) level 15+
  13. If you haven't learned how aggro cap works that might be something to get familiar with. Tanks can only hold so much until it spills over to next priority targets.. like the aoe kill machine you aspire too. ..and remember to save a couple inspiration spots for rezies. You're a blaster, face planting from time to time is not unusual.
  14. I'm gonna agree with Nemu.. *gasp* The absolute best is very open to interpretation and subject to a lot of variables. I'd recommend starting with a good damage build, which are available, and start playing. From there experimentation, personal preference, and specific questions will take you where you want to go. (steps off soap box) this is what I found worked best in fireball which could be totally different than the next player.

    Slotting Hide

Yes, especially earlier in the game. ..but not always, it really depends on the build. Often I have two Luck of the Gamblers and maybe another global. I've done just 3 globals. I have a couple Stalkers with 4 slots. Then some with just a regular Def enhancement. It's endurance free defense if we have the slots. If we are just shy of 45 def or 50, slotting Hide can get a build over the hump. It's better than slotting Brawl (but not always).
  17. So many characters and so little time. Some characters get too strong and become boring. This happened on a Psi / Mental Blaster and an Shield / Energy Tanker Others just don't work out. Ice / Time Corruptor made it to 50 and I just never liked Time as much as other sets. A Dark / Electrical Defender Just wasn't as much fun as on a Corruptor. These sit.. stripped of anything of value.
  18. https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Stalker#Hiding Hiding Despite the rather misleading name, the Hidden status only means that the Stalker is poised to deliver stronger or more reliable critical hits. Hidden mode and Stealth aren't directly linked, although they often occur together. A Stalker can be Hidden even if an enemy has enough Perception to see him. Stalkers have two ways to become Hidden. The Hide power continually grants Hidden status, though that status suppresses for eight seconds each time the Stalker uses an attack power (except for missed Assassin's Strikes), suffers damage from an enemy (falling doesn't count), or clicks a mission object. Using the Placate power on any target also puts the Stalker in Hidden mode, no matter who he attacks, for a fixed period of ten seconds. Criticals Stalkers cause a great deal of additional damage through critical hits. The exact chances of a critical vary greatly with the situation and the power used. Stalker criticals do double damage except in one case which we'll get to in a moment. Most Stalker single-target attacks automatically critical against any target if the Stalker is Hidden. If the Stalker isn't Hidden and he's attacking a PvE enemy, his chance of critting is 10% + 3% per teammate within 30'. In PvP, most un-Hidden Stalker single-target attacks can only crit if the target is Held or Slept, and do so 20% of the time, but a few get criticals 10%-15% of the time regardless of whether the target is mezzed. Stalker AoE attacks work similarly, though the crit chances for Hidden AoEs and for un-Hidden PvP AoEs are half the typical single-target chances. Un-Hidden PvE AoEs use the full 10% + 3%/teammate formula without halving. Crits are checked separately for each target hit.
  19. +1 I also miss base raids.
  20. how about a spicy pumpkin Jackalynn
  21. They're around. Discord maybe more so. As long as low HP Stalkers are given consideration.. it seemed like a swell new powerset.
  22. In case anyone ends up here wondering what's also been discussed and wants to wade through a couple more threads:
