yeah you should likely have gone fire/dark corruptor as it appears you like doing damage more than debuffing. (i prefer rad/dark though) we can play corruptors hero side if you prefer that content.

"The Game is not Balanced around IO's"..... should it be? Is end game balanced around IOs? Are there SO only characters participating in endgame content? Are there builds which don't leverage uniques and procs doing Dr. Aeon Strike Forces?

I was just typing this suggestion!! But if they've played hundreds of characters it's likely been tried, C'est la vie Massive control and massive damage don't really converge in COH until very late game. Mostly, it's choices and trade offs.

Builds can be found using the search feature on the thread below. B U T, no need to worry about builds as much as what you are going to like. Roll em both and jump into a couple DFBs (death from below), you'll know pretty quick what you really like. I like Super Strength for a new player to learn on. It has some control and mechanics to pay attention to, as well as take advantage of without having to shoot for god mode. and I love me some foot stompin. You could try Street Justice as well.
