  1. Well, you can level any way you want. We get plenty of respecs anyway 😉
  2. Absolutely nothing. More. More. MORE!
  3. Haha. Well that's love for Earth/Storm, right there. Is your other 50 yet?
  4. By all means 🙂 I'm also going to level one soon, recreating what I had back on live. If I do any adjustments to the build, I'll post it here. Have fun!
  5. Storm has a (much) higher damage output, while Time allows for a much safer playstyle, but you'll gimp your dps. Granted, you can try a proc-heavy Grav/Time, but I can't tell how it would work without testing.
  6. Here's something I've put together. Overall you'll get: Soft capped defenses to S/L AND ranged (technically it's 44,9%, but I'll count that as soft capped), mkay?) Great recharge to feed your stormy goodness A few awesome procs that will provide more control, more -res debuffs and more recharge Hasten will be perma (it's currently 4 seconds off) if you go with Ageless Destiny (you really should) At least 2 lightning storms and 2 tornados will be up all the time A very handy heal/+MaxHP or those "oh-sh!t" moments Side notes: You can replace the ragnarok set which a positron's blast until you can afford the purple set. The Panacea enhancement in Earth's Embrace is just for when/if you can afford it. Until then you can use a normal heal IO. Some people (like me) actually do find uses for Snow Storm. If you want it in the build, drop Thunder Clap and move the slots into Fissure. If you are still leveling, you should bid on the most expensive enhancements right now. Just bid for 1/3 or less of the price and once you get to 50 you'll have gotten a few of them for cheap.
  7. Here's something different. What you'll get: Almost soft capped defense to ranged (44,4%) Capped resistances to S/L and solid resistances to NegEnergy/Toxic. Note: you can pick any resistance shield you like - I went with Dark Embrace because I run a lot of ITFs (negative damage from nictus/dwarves/novas) and I absolutely hate toxic damage when fighting Devouring Earth. If you'd rather have great S/L defenses paired with ranged defenses, go with Scorpion Shield. Quite a lot of procs that will provide very nice damage output, control AND even more -res (quite a lot more, when you use both Liquefy and Dreadful Wail - use Amplify before using them, to make sure you hit). This is meant to be an active build. You should play it offensively - this means taking advantage of Howl + Shockwave as much as you can. For that reason, I picked Cardiac Alpha. Everything else is up to you.
  8. It'd help to know what primary do you have in mind, since there might be nice synergies to explore. Then, it all comes down to what do you want from your tank. Extra control? Survivability? Damage? Team-friendly debuffs?
  9. Thermal is a fine set. Empathy is a fine set. Traps is a fine set. Poison needs tweaking. It's mainly a ST debuffer (the splash debuff numbers are laughable at best), with no unique features. Not only that, but there is not a single power in the whole set that buffs the user (not even the heal), making it harder to use Noxious Gas (self PbAoE aura - which we all know it should be casted on another player, just like Sonic Disruption) or to reach certain goals (soft cap defense, high recharge, proc heavy set, etc). Mind you, I would LOVE to play a Poison character (and I do have a Defender and a Controller planned), but I can't say it's a "fine" set when it needs some serious attention. Give us a way to spread the Poison debuffs (with Neurotoxic Breath or Poison Trap, for example) or simply rework the slashing debuff mechanics.
  10. I'm afraid not. Unless you play it for fun or concept, you'll probably find it lackluster. Everything Poison does, other sets do it ªmuchª better.
  11. I don't see Rad Armor in there. I'd say it's top tier. As for secondaries, I think /Ice doesn't get enough love - especially after the changes to immobilize powers (they no longer neglect KD effects), making Ice Patch a beautiful tool to use and abuse.
  12. There's a guide on how to change/mute sound fx. Doesn't seem too complicated.
  13. Ice/Rad used to be quite popular pre incarnates. It sure was end heavy (which this days is a non issue), but effective too. You might want to look at Ice/Time as well.
  14. I won't comment on Nature, since I haven't played it yet. Tier 1 Storm/Dark Time/ Tier 2 Cold/Ice Dark/Dark Rad/ Kin/ Thermal/ Neutral Emp Pain Traps Tier X I can't think of anything "unplayable". However, the sets I consider in need of buffs/tweaks for 50+ content are FF, TA, Sonic and Poison.
  15. Quick question: does Ageless count as enhancement recharge? If so, does it also count as enh recharge if it's from another player?
  16. I've never built an AE mission before, but you'll want enemies to have 100% fire attacks such as flares, fire blast, fire breath, etc).
  17. I dont recall my map being this easy to read with my videomaps version. Are all your Maps fully revealed?
  18. It's a custom window with macros. Simply create the following path: <yourcohdirectory>\data\customwindows and paste the attached file in there. You can edit the file with most text processors (I recommend notepad++, it's free). This is the current code you'll find inside the file. It's pretty straightforward, don't be afraid to mess around with it. Window "Falsey's Menu" - the name of the menu, followed by its dimension (you can simply drag and resize ingame, don't worry about this) Button "name" "bind/macro" - name of the button, followed by a bind or macro of your choice You can edit, add or remove any button ingame. Everytime you launch the game, the window will show at the top left corner. You can drag it around, resize it or minimize it. custom.window
  19. When did this change? I thought Cimerorans were the highest DPS. Mind you, my usual go-to Lore is Banished, but I've been considering alternatives for soloing TFs and AV content.
  20. No way. I can tell you'd bankrupt me even before the main dish.
  21. I've been so busy that I couldn't share before. Here is my current setup. It's only missing my combat attributes that I only turn on when I need to look at them.
  22. Four Winds Storm/Dark Defender Rabid Dog Radiation/Sonic Defender
  23. My eyes! Get off my lawn! (kidding - I actually don't think it's too cluttered).
  24. I too try to keep things somewhat centered mainly because I have tunneled vision, so I only see what's in the middle of the screen. I laughed when I saw that you had a macro for saying "Gratz". And how do you enable enemy health bars? I might want to try this out.
  25. If there's any sort of OCD in me, it has to be related with my UI in games. I simply can't play a MMO without customizing it to my own taste and needs. And since I suspect that I'm not alone in this, I've decided to start this thread where we can all admire and steal some ideas from other player's UI setups. I'll share mine either later on or tomorrow when I'm back home. Now, please DO show off!
