  1. In a way, it made your thirst for progression even bigger (and more rewarding). Also, having limited respecs would make you think twice about your power picks and slotting. So, no. CoH never sucked. In fact, I miss the pre-IO days quite a bit.
  2. 1 recharge is enough. Procs don't seem to work properly on rain powers, but if I had the spare slots i'd go with 1rech, 1 achilles proc and 1 annihilation proc.
  3. They're both great. I just think that being able to provide 25% Def All (and some exotic resistances) to the whole party with PB+Fade is extremely good in a set that is already so versatile.
  4. As many other celebrations, there's history behind, which usually suffers alterations as time goes by. I'm no expert, but the origin of "thanksgiving" was a way of celebrating and giving thanks for successful crop harvests, especially after periods of scarcity. It has nothing to do with turkeys or family, but with survival.
  5. I find TA to be much more enjoyable to play than Traps. Mainly because it's a shoot-and-forget set with decent recharge and proc potential on its main powers. Plus, it offers the extra control that Illusion lacks.

  7. The classic Rad/Sonic Defender is always a nice choice. I've melted Lusca (GM) with a cheap build and absolutely no incarnates, shortly after HC launched. Sonic/Bio sentinel would be an interesting pick as well. But then again, I've never played Sentinels - I'm just guessing from what I know of both sets separately.

  11. If money is no object, I'd go with something like this. Please notice that I've set IOs in PA and Hasten to +5s. Perma hasten Perma PA 40+ defenses to S/L/E and Ranged A few damage procs that will help you kill things faster If I were you I would probably slot Maneuvers with 5 Red Fortunes and use the spare slot place a Lockdown+2Mag on Emp Arrow. You would no longer have Perma PA (0,14secs off) but you'd gain a ranged hold that would hold everything short of EBs. EDIT: Or move a slot from Weave and put it in Emp Arrow. Then you'd get both perma PA and a wonderful Emp Arrow.   12. Earth/TA slows the crap out of things and at range. If you want to be in the middle of things, then Ice/Time is what you're looking for.
  13. It might become a bit spammy if you battlecry every time you taunt. Instead, I'd create multiple battlecries and bind it to one key, making it cyclie through them.
  14. Here's my build for comparison! I went with extra Melee Defense by slotting Avalanche set on Spin and 6-slotting Boxing, even though I don't care all that much for incarnate content. My stamina seems to be at the sweet spot with 3 slots, without ever using Conserve Power (well, I might have to run a few Carnie missions just to be sure). For that reason, I'm actually thinking of dropping Maneuvers for Assault and see how my blue bar handles it. Having extra 10% dmg is never a bad thing and Maneuvers is only there for the LotG anyway (which can be moved to one of the passives).   15. Glad I helped somehow. Another thing: back in "my" days, Placate was a must have. But maybe that changed since then.
  16. For some reason I thought this was in Scrapper section. My feedback won't be that valuable, since I haven't played a Stalker in over 10 years (except for real life, of course). Nevertheless, I can help with some of your slotting! First, the obvious ones: You Shockwave slotted for double KB>KD. Replace the Ragnarok Chance for KD for the Damage one. Your Momentum slotting doesn't bring you any value since Momentum alone will cap you to all resists (except Psi). So, you have a couple options here: Replace those Resist IOs with recharge Replace with LotG+recharge and Gladiator's Unique +3%Def (it's missing in your build, for some reason) Is Superior Assassin's Mark that terrible? The proc seems pretty damn good to me. I'd try to fit that in my rotation somehow There is no reason to place Preventive Medicine's proc in Stamina. Move that slot to Fast Healing and benefit from the +8,75% recharge The following comments are now based on personal preference and taste. Keep in mind that my experience with Stalkers is severely outdated. You seem to be building up on your S/L resists and that's fine. But wouldn't Melee or S/L Defenses benefit you more in the long run? How much do you love Eviscerate? Based on DPA (damage per activation) alone, it's not a good power. But since Stalker's don't get access to Spin, I could understand if you use it as some sort of AoE source, besides Shockwave. If you could skip it you could use those extra slots to build up your survivability even further. I'm not sure how much you actually benefit from your Epic's choice and slotting, especially the spiderlings (I don't know how the Achille's proc would work on that power) Hope I gave you some food for thought.

  18. I guess it's a matter of taste, really. My build has slightly different stats, but it probably performs about the same as @Bill Z Bubba's version. Here's the base totals (+5 enhancements): I'm considering ditching some melee defense for +dmg bonuses instead and see how I feel about it.

  20. Yea, I too feel like the animation ruins the buzzsaw feel of Claws. It's a shame though, because on paper it could do wonderful things. It would probably speed up your Vet levels farming though, @Bill Z Bubba.
  21. Considering its higher chance to crit, wonderful radius and possibility of placing a FF+proc in it, what are your thoughts on Eviscerate?
