  1. Yeah, but now when I bid the usual 300 it doesn't take. I know it'll go back down, but at the moment, it was driving me batty. Seems like a dick move to me. 🤷‍♂️
  2. Popped into the university to craft some IOs and when I went to buy some salvage I was out of, I ran into someone realllllly overpricing all the basic salvage. Why, oh why (besides the obvious) do people do this?
  3. You don't need our help, the power is yours!
  4. Brawl. When you're tapped out and can do nothing, Brawl is there. Brawl is with you start to finish. It asks nothing and gives everything. Brawl is life. It knows you'll get your nukes and one shotters and snipes. It knows you'll eventually become an Incarnate. Yet through it all, Brawl is there. It waits for that moment when all else fails and you have only your two fists to depend on. So keep Brawl on your tray, hell, slot that sucker with IOs because it will never let you down. That, friends, is true power. Fire nuke is also nice.
  5. Eochi and Jack in Irons are part of a giant monster fight club and we keep interrupting their sessions.
  6. Could just make the EBs beeline for anyone flagged as AFK. Double xp stops working after you've hit the pavement. 😈
  7. Movement - 2 - I take Fly on every character for a reason, laziness. 😄 As for setting up cones and aoes? I try my best. Leading task forces/raids - 0 - I don't lead teams. I may default into a field captain if things go haywire, but I don't have it in me to lead teams. Character builds - 3 - With the caveat that I make builds to suit my style, not necessarily the meta, but they work. Badging - 2.5 - I can fly around some zones without the map and collect badges (but could get lost in my backyard, a fact my wife loves to point out). Key binds - 1 - I can change costumes and make my MM pets dance. Aaaaand that's about it. In-game knowledge - 4 - This comes from me having to remember stuff and learn new stuff so my uncle who plays can do so without getting frustrated with all the inside knowledge stuff. I became his personal wiki.
  8. All I'm hearing is we need to elect a raging alcoholic in 2024.
  9. Master Roshi vs Jiren in the tournament of power in the manga might fit the bill?
  10. Depends on your build, I guess. I've been running my Brute around my little route in Peregrine and I've gotten most of the badges already and my prismatics. Plus, no lag from the huge league by the hospital . YMMV
  11. Officer Daniels. Time to take back Galaxy City!

    Diablo IV

Anyone else playing this? Curious about what folks are playing as and thoughts on thefame itself (spoiler free, of course). I beat the campaign with a Sorcerer build that can only be described as a potluck build. Dipping my toes in the Necromancer pool now and holing off on a Barbarian til the first season. Overall, I've enjoyed it and a new cast with some expanded lore is my jam. It needs some QoL features desperately, fingers crossed they get addressed soon.
  14. I'm taking time off to play this at launch, something I haven't done in years. Bethesda games always have a...hiccup or twelve at launch, but aren't as bad as the internet makes them out to be. I've been a Bethesda fan since Daggerfall (Fallout 76 at launch hurt a bit) and am super jazzed for Starfield!
  15. Oh, mea culpa, then. Good info to have. I've actively avoided using confuse power sets because I thought it borked xp. Shows what I know.
  16. Would the better idea just simply be to get rid of and replace powers that confuse? I have never understood why (crowd control can be done so much better with other sets AND give xp) mental powers were made to suck so much. Solo, you're using one of the powers in your set and it's actually screwing your leveling. On a team, it's screwing everyone's xp gains.
  17. ***Beware: Spoiler friendly topic*** I was playing a new character the other day and after finishing the final part of the Atlas Park chain, I rolled back to Matthew to turn it in and train. Now, I've seen it several times, but seeing his wife beside him made me smile. It made me think of the little things in the game that make me smile or chuckle that, on the whole, get swallowed up by all the craziness of that world. Arachnos Operative Jenkins popping up everywhere is another. He's our Hydra Bob.
  18. When I first started playing again, I remembered that there were big changes in the main stories and did some digging. These wiki pages still get alt tabbed to at times because I forget who's where. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Who_Will_Die https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Pandora's_Box_(SSA)
  19. Ok, yes 🤯 mind blown! I usually leave exploration and history badges for when I feel like going around and getting everything at once in a zone (IE: Atlas gets all exploration and plaques as soon as I'm out of the tutorial for the teleporter power). This will help a lot and keep me from alt/tabbing out to the wiki a bazillion times.
  20. A rando beat cop. Someone who just happens to be on the scene of all these different stories. Have it be a "view from outside the box" take on things.
  21. Boy, Spines Brutes would get more...interesting, wouldn't they?
  22. Unless they snap and become the Carnival of War...
