  2. True. Given that reality, I am okay with Redside being what it is, an additional area of the game to explore, but not a whole separate game in itself.
  3. I think the devs actually loved redside and were extremely disappointed it wasn't more popular.
  4. Your first 22% of to hit buff definitely does still increase sniper damage. It used to be that you needed that much to hit for fast snipers. Now sniper is always fast in combat but the damage is increased by up to 22% of your to hit buff.

  6. I’m not 100% certain, but I think it May be that the to hit bonus increases the Base damage. Somebody please correct me if I’m wrong.
  7. Only the fast snipe gets the to hit bonus damage.
  8. Aim and Build Up together will do it. Aim plus Power Boost will also do it.

  10. The point of Aim is to get you through Force Fields and Dark debuffs, etc.
  11. You can also have the contacts and missions windows open simultaneously to make it easier by phone.
  12. As was mentioned, you don’t have to do those intervening AV missions. You just abandon them and talk to her again until you get the one you want.

  14. The Vulnerability debuff is plenty good as is. It’s lack of damage that is the problem, not the quality of their support bonus.
  15. The point is fixing these things is, while a nice idea, not strictly necessary. With a small volunteer dev team this is not a priority.

  17. Another idea: Remove the "bruising" debuffs from all Sentinel attacks. Increase base damage by AT LEAST as much. Detach Opportunity from attacks entirely. Get rid of the bar. Make it a separate button that works as follows: Opportunity becomes a Toggle that you put on an enemy, tagged "Enemies will not notice this attack". When you turn ON the toggle the only effect is a Target indicator appears over the targets head. When you turn OFF the toggle the Vulnerability debuff is cast on the target and the Sentinel gets the Opportunity buff (BOTH Offensive and Defensive portions together) for 15 seconds. Perhaps the On period has a limited time? Like, if you haven't turned it off after 10 seconds it turns off itself and engages the buffs/debuffs? The toggle then has a 45 (or 60? I'm not sure.) second recharge period that cannot be reduced with buffs. This design allows the Sentinel to act as a "shot caller", and gives them much more control over when to use their ability.

  19. Yeah, that's all true, but the fixes are largely already there. The Hollows is a great set of arcs all in one zone for low level players. In Steel we have Graham Easton and Laura Lockhart. Also, Montague Castanella. At 15 you can start running Faultline. At 20 Striga Isle and First Ward. In Talos there's Roy Cooling, Keith Nance, and Jenni Adair. In IP there's the Vigilante contact Braun. In Bricks there's another Vig contact and later there's Provost Marchand. Then there's Croatoa, Night Ward, the Rikti War Zone, Cimerora (small though it is), and at 50 Dark Astoria. Also, the Signature arcs sprinkled throughout the city. I'm sure I'm leaving something out. So, again, not to say any of your points are wrong, they're not, but to a large extent there are already fixes in place.

  22. This is now considerably easier Villainside. Gangbuster only requires 200 Family minions or LTs. The debt badge required is only The Unbroken Spirit.
  23. When you activate Opportunity for the duration your attacks have a chance to land Critical Strikes. This chance begins at 90% and gradually gets less over the course of the buff.
  24. lol, no. Dark is one of the very best sets for Controllers and Dominators.
  25. I'm not saying they are the same, they don't provide equal damage in the same situations. But they do both provide big numbers in their respective situations, enough to be of good value to the team. Perhaps CC is not the right word, Stalkers AS secondary effects and speed in eliminating specific targets are of use to the team. Since the addition of Assassins Focus there is no longer a question, in my mind, of the usefulness of Stalkers on the team. Exactly how I quantified it might be slightly off, but the greater point stands.
