  1. That might just be Kin's weakness. No +Tohit or -Def.
  2. That doesn't sound right. Could you possibly post a video? It's a lot to ask, if not I understand.
  3. Based on the solution that was chosen, I would guess that most of all of those solutions would have required nerfing the stun itself. Since the change from Aim was done for people who wanted to keep the stun, I’m guessing they were non-starters for that reason. The change they settled on makes the power better at what it was doing originally.
  4. literally you’re doing it wrong. use Intensify AFTER summoning C5. It buffs your OTHER attacks chance to Proc C5 and Cell.
  5. It is a significant damage boosting mechanic. As such it requires investment to have it available all the time, just like any other similar mechanic in the game.
  6. How is it a "detriment"? If they removed the ability for it to move I don't think they would be buffing anything else to compensate. The movement is a bonus. It seems to be balanced like any rain power. The set does NOT "require" Storm Cell to be up at every single moment to be effective. If it goes down for a short time it's not that big a deal, just like if Rain of Fire goes down for a bit it's not a big deal.
  7. Adding the Pet Damage and Recharge Intensive Pet specials really helps.
  8. When you said you weren’t getting much impact out of it what did you mean?
  9. did you just drop category five and then stop? You have to keep attacking to power its procs.
  10. I’ve been using the new Ignite on cooldown in my rotation. Works great. it’s definitely both an offensive power AND an area denial ability.
  11. I thought the Afraid is WHY enemies run out.
  12. My main issue with AR now is that every attack has a different range! It would be great if some of the shorter range attacks could be brought up to match some of the longer ones.
  13. Sentinel Ignite is actually quite a nice improvement. I still wish Slug wasn’t so slow, but this definitely helps.
  14. It's not really a question of whether Aim is better than Beanbag (it is). The issue is one of changing the basic functionality of a powerset that has been in the game since launch, that is played by many, many people. If they can find a niche for the set that is satisfactory in performance that includes Beanbag and Ignite, then great.
  15. Actually, I was confused, it is a chain currently.
  16. neither is Storm. the Procs from Cell are a bonus, if they’re occasionally missing it’s not that big a deal.
  17. After reading other comments, while I'd still be interested in testing out this proposed version, I think the real solution to people's complaints is not to alter the recharge at all from where it currently is, but instead to make the pet better at keeping up with you.
  18. I mostly agree with this with caveats. I tried several blaster combinations. I was able to make it work on sets where I could control the battlefield, such as /Dev, /TA, or /Ice, but I had more trouble with /EM.
  19. I think the idea is this normalizes performance across levels so the power requires no investment for 100% uptime. But you're right, the change doesn't help on very fast moving teams.
  20. Yes, I’ll take it. Or at least I’d like to try it.
  21. 40s fixed recharge and 1 minute duration?
  22. I’m saying that in practice it keeps up with me OR I can resummon it frequently enough for either application, based on my own testing. That’s with minimal slotting, available as early as 7 if desired. If my team and I are going so fast it can’t keep up with me, then I don’t need it, do I? It’ll catch up, or I can resummon, if we slow down. Only one power in the set, Gust, requires it to do its own full damage.
  23. Keep in mind, between Storm Cell and Intensify, this is essentially a Blast power set that gets TWO personal damage boosts. OF COURSE they both have to be slotted for recharge.
  24. Any reasonable amount of global recharge, Hasten, Bonuses, Ageless, whatever makes it easily perma. Having a faster recharge would be pointless.
  25. The counterargument is that shorter recharge=shorter duration=more time spent recasting it. The set shines in long fights, and Storm Cell is part of that.
