Stealth does not suppress at all from buffs as of last patch, the high defense does suppress if you buff or heal other players or pets, though.

Only way for your stealth to go away is if you attack, are hit by a foe, or click on a mission objective (glowies, doors, etc.)

Doors? What kind of doors? I haven’t been seeing this happen.

  2. @Glacier Peak I just tested it again. Made a brand new character on Excelsior, a Katana/Invuln Scrapper. Ran her up to 4 real quick and took SJ.

This is a character with no toggles yet and no enhancements at all.

I toggle on SJ. The icon appears in the corner.

I toggle on DJ. The icon appears, blinking immediately.

I don't know what else to do to eliminate possible causes.

  3. That’s so strange, because for me it’s literally every character that I have with super jump, when I turn on double jump the icon in the corner immediately starts blinking. What’s even stranger, is that when my friend and I teamed up and he was also on a character with super jump, he had the same exact bug, except when I looked at both of our buffs in the team window they were both blinking...but they were blinking at different rates! But for both his characters and my characters, the icon in the corner is blinking as soon as we toggle on DJ.

I was running around with Invisibility with my fire blaster healing aura. This kind of sucks -- it's not really explicit in the patch notes that you now have to turn every power off; and that your teammate's group powers can lower your stealth radius. (see: random teammate stealthing the same path as you with leadership toggles on). Anyways.. moving on with a workaround but I'd rather this behaviour is reverted.

Other people buffing you shouldn’t be lowering your stealth, only you buffing them.

Has this been resolved? I just ran Manti and even with Invisibility, adds that didnt used to see me now see me. Not sure if this is WAI or not.

I think it has been fixed. If you are running Leadership toggles or other team buffs (and are in range of teammates) it will give you Stealth and not Invisibility, that could be what you’re seeing.

Philosophically, I don't like inherents that only function when teamed.   /eye Defender,  /eye Khelds.

That said, they are fine soloists, and it's really "what do you bring to the team" that people gripe about (in my experience), soooooo okay.  I could live with that if need be.

    Maybe it’s both?

But the problem isn’t just damage bonus, the problem is base damage and damage cap.

I think the inherent just needs to be improved so that it contributes a lot more.

I mentioned Kinetics, it's included in Increase Density.

Hmm, the tooltips and descriptions don't mention that, but CityOfData shows Repel protrction so I can see why I missed those.  Still not a terribly common effect to resist.

Neither is confusion or fear, and neither comes up in the game very often. Neither will this.

I'm not sure if this has been brought up already but maybe giving Singularity a gravity vortex was a bad idea.  Not necessarily from the players perspective, but i'm more talking about Family Consiglieres who are also capable of summoning them (and Kadabra Kill I guess).  I went into the Family Raid event in St. Marital, which has three Consiglieres inside the building, and all three of them summon Singularities.  I ended up being caught in between two of them and was constantly flying around and orbiting them, which made it hell to keep attacking targets with my Scrapper melee reach, to say nothing about the rapid camera movement and getting it caught along nearby walls.  Maybe critter Singularities shouldn't have that effect, especially since Repel protection is very rare (Break Frees have it, but otherwise it's only found in Shield, Stone, and Energy, as well as Kinetics) and as far as I know no other PvE foe in the game has access to a proper Repel.
