  1. I'm talking prices for one booster compared to one catalyst. Boosters are cheaper with influence as well as Reward Merits.
  2. I'm pretty sure Boosters are cheaper on the market and through merits than Catalysts.
  3. I mean, paying for the boosters isn't a nuisance in my opinion. Applying them all as you have to currently is a bit annoying and tedious to do. I have no issue about the price of a booster though. With the update in this patch, it should be much less of a pain to apply boosters anyway.
  4. You would have really hated it back on live where a purple recipe cost a billion influence or more. Now you can purchase one for less than 20 million influence or 100 merits. That's not expensive.
  5. That honestly wouldn’t surprise me if it was the least-used.
  6. I would note he said "most" and not "all".
  7. You might also want to check out the City of Roleplay server on Discord. It's become a sort of unofficial roleplay Discord for Everlasting players. Plenty of people there to help assist with character ideas, stories, etc. https://discord.gg/87db2AHe
  8. Aracknight, I think you nailed the main points of the ongoing debate.
  9. I'd have to do a respec to try that but if I have time this week I'll give it a shot.
  10. In a separate test in the Cascade Archipelago, I was able to make it from the entrance portal to the top island in the cluster in the image below in one leap with I believe one activation of Double Jump. It took two activations of Double Jump to make it to the northern cluster of islands from the entrance portal. (Though I was still well below the Tyrant's Rock marker due to elevation of both the entrance island and that particular island.) I should add that I did eventually get to Tyrant’s Rock and it took two activations of Double Jump to get back to the entrance portal to the zone in one leap with purposely falling since the sheer elevation of that marker will have you overshoot the entrance portal island.
  11. So in an attempt to move one from the seemingly endless discussion about Afterburner, I did some testing of Super Jump in the Shadow Shard last night. I should preface by saying my SJ character has a +5 boosted single generic Jump enhancement in Hurdle and one +5 boosted Unbounded Leap in Super Jump. In the attached image I tried to see how far I could get in one leap using Double Jump and as you can see, I got pretty dang close to the Storm Palace (the arrow pointing to where I started to fall at the end of the first leap). Unfortunately, with the elevation of the entrance portal compared to the Storm Palace, you won't be able to actually make it inside but it was an interesting test nonetheless.
  12. The only enhancements that can be made Superior are the Winter Os and Archetype Enhancements. Any other IO can have a Catalyst applied but it can't be made Superior like the aforementioned Winter/Archetype Enhancements.
  13. Unless I missed something, the only sets that can be made superior in the first place only require one catalyst per enhancement which would be six total, if you even have it six slotted to begin with. There should be nothing where you need 12 catalysts total/2 catalysts per enhancement, to make it superior
  14. Some of the best RP I've been a part of is that banter during RP missions.
  15. I didn't mention numbers either, except the numbers of how many slots were in my flight-related powers.
  16. I transferred over my Peacebringer who has a lone slot in Energy Flight with one of the Flight IOs and Quantum Acceleration (The PB version of Afterburner) that also has a lone slot with a LotG 7.5% Recharge IO. On Beta, those two IOs haven't been changed or removed nor have I needed to respec anything. The LotG IO is now in Quantum Maneuvers (PB version of Evasive Maneuvers). Literally nothing was changed with my build nor will it need to be. I'm just faster now than I was before and have a new version of Quantum Acceleration if I feel like using it.
  17. I was honestly just thinking something like Reveal as a fifth power.
  18. Yep, just got done testing it and with Double Jump active I could cross from one end of Atlas to the other in one leap. Very cool addition.
  19. Just transferred my Peacebringer over to Beta and I'm loving the changes to Flight.
  20. To be honest, Statesman wasn’t even that present in the game before they erased him. You rescue him from the Praetorians back in Issue 2, then he becomes a contact for the STF in Issue 9 and then you don’t really see him do anything until around Issue 22/23 and then he’s gone.
  21. I don’t see why anyone would have an issue with that.
  22. Are there actual Justice League/Avengers SGs where people are playing as those heroes? The pet peeve about JLA/Avengers SGs I took to mean costumed superheroes in the vein of those types groups. If people are actually RPing as those DC/Marvel characters then that's a different story entirely.
  23. I’ve found myself pretty consistently playing through a bunch of the Resident Evil games multiple times a year for the past few years. For games I replay a ton they tend to be games you can get through in a few hours at the most.
  24. While I happen to run a RPSG that is inspired by those two groups, most that I see advertised (at least when I’m in game) are for more specialized groups like an all magic group as a quick example. And even of the groups that fashion themselves like a JLA/Avengers type group which I am aware of it seems they all tend to be a bit different. While they all focus on costumed heroes, there are variances such as targeted age groups or experience levels for members as well as if they’re focused in Paragon specifically fighting in-game enemy groups or if they branch out and make their own custom enemies.
  25. Fantastic costume!
