It's not an invite-only deal. The fact is the database for VV has issues so unfortunately you can't just go to the site and create an account like you used to since the email function doesn't work. So now if you need a new VV account, you have to let the admins know and they can reach out to you to set it up. You don't even have to download a Discord app, you can run it in your browser so it's really not that "excludey" as you put it.

Folks, all they did was put a message in the GMOTD. Relax. They aren't pasting over the billboards in the game or tweaking NPC dialog. Again, relax.

You take game lore from a nearly 20 year old game too seriously.

I think the more pressing issue is explaining what common sense is because a lot of people here don’t seem to understand that first of all and are looking to argue just to argue.

That person is incorrect. There are only the basic Icon/Facemaker NPCs that can't change your current body type.

I mean, I haven't read most of the recent pages but I don't think it's taking a shot in the dark to guess that a lot of people are upset another AT is getting brought up which makes their special snowflake AT lesser in their eyes because of it. So yeah, might as well just let it happen and see how it actually performs in a live setting.

The code is probably wonky enough that such a thing may not work. Just drag and move the characters into whatever order you want.

It's not rocket science, man. They don't want people involved who consistently bad-mouth the people they're trying to negotiate with. It's also just a video game so people that are still, 7 years after the fact, demonizing a company for shutting down a video game is a little too unhinged to have involved in a serious negotiation.

It was a comment on him saying the private server should have gone public a year into its existence. The fact was the player base was a fraction of what HC has and they had to wrap their heads around the goofy code. They weren't in a position to "go public" as much as some internet dwellers seem to think.

Clearly you don't know much about server upkeep and resources required for a large playerbase. Think logically here for just a second if you'll indulge me for a moment. Do you really think the private server was given all of the resources to maintain a server for a large playerbase that the live servers had? Obviously, the answer is no.
