  1. Here’s a few of mine I posted recently on the HC Discord: Conqueror Legionbreaker Saturn Starscourge Wildclaw
  2. I thought that grind was the entire point behind the devs introducing this completely optional currency for even more completely optional NPC costumes. If it was something that actually affected your character like powers or enhancements I would be in total agreement that the grind for Aether Particles was ridiculous. In this instance however, play at your own pace and eventually you'll likely earn enough to get that specific costume you want. If you're wanting everything right from the outset, either spend the influence or grind through the Hard Mode TFs.
  3. It's pretty simple folks. If you want to know and be involved in what's going on in Closed Beta, join the testing Discord. If you're fine waiting until Open Beta, feel free to stick to the forums only. It's your choice but you don't get to complain about Closed Beta information not being readily available on the forums if you aren't willing to go easily find it on the Discord. The link's already been posted in this thread; it's right there if you care enough to know what's going on in the continued development of HC.
  4. After getting caught up on this thread here, I agree with your sentiment completely. A player posted a place for folks on HC to talk about HC and this thread devolved, as most things on this forum eventually do, into gripes about Reddit as a whole and completely ignoring the point was inviting HC folks to a specific area to talk about HC.
  5. This hypothetical doesn't work since Devs/GMs aren't adding mission NPCs to anyone's bases to begin with. Would be a neat opportunity to edit the base around a working NPC I suppose.
  6. If the NPC was there for the entire year and not a minuscule three week period, I would probably say sure why not to moving her. This though just seems like a waste of time for an already volunteer development group to bother to mess with when the easiest course of action is some players will just have to move somewhere else for a couple weeks until they can get their sacred spot back. if they feel like doing it for next year’s event, sure have at it.
  7. I doubt the wayback machine has posts about RP when she was placed there for the 2012 event but unless someone can link to posts here, was this even brought up in 2020, 2021 or 2022 here?
  8. I'm trying to figure out what SCORE codes are.
  9. Character name: FractureGlobal: @StarforgeBase or SG Name: Hall of HeroesShard: EverlastingPasscode: Hall-22329Item Count: 11,974Category for Contest: Multipurpose Base over 7k itemsOther associated contributors (up to 4 more people): N/A Additional Info / Must-See Areas of Note: (Use /visscale 5 when touring the base) The Hall of Heroes is on an island off the coast of Rhode Island. Non-powered visitors are able to utilize the Paragon City ferry service to arrive. Upon arrival to the Hall of Heroes, visitors are immediately greeted by the large outdoor plaza. Food vendors line the lower sides of the raised fountain platform which itself serves as a memorial to fallen heroes (also a nice spot for Costume Contests :P). The main floor inside the Hall of Heroes contains a lounge, museum and training simulator. The main entrance is also lined by two elevators; one to the bottom floor which houses a cafeteria, training room and library; while the upper floor contains offices for the leaders of the Global Defense Force as well as a meeting area. Behind the meeting area is a secure access elevator to the secret base below the Hall of Heroes which contains a large medical bay, hangar and workshop/teleport hub for the GDF.
  10. Man, wait until you see the revamped Freedom Corp HQ that the building interior is supposed to get at a later date.
  11. Dude, this is really simple. Just credit the thread where you got the power ideas in your opening post from. Not that difficult.
  12. I know I didn't have enhancement sets on my PB dealing with EBs solo in the ingame story arcs that you can do well below level 25, even below level 20. To think you need to be slotted out with set IOs to handle the Halloween ToT EBs solo is ridiculous.
  13. He said new change, not new challenge. It's good to freshen the event up and plenty of other Halloween Event additions over the years, like the Zombie and Banner invasions, also have EBs. I guarantee the intent wasn't to make it a slog for solo ToTers. On a team/league the EBs barely exist before they're downed and the increase in rewards plus new badges is always a nice treat.
  14. This is where I guess there's a disconnect. I'm at a loss why people are seemingly unhappy with completely optional difficulty additions that don't change the base content experience at all for those that aren't interested in said optional difficulty additions. I could understand completely if let's use the ITF for example was just completely overwritten and you could only run the HM version. That's not what's happening though.
  15. I would definitely recommend trying to coordinate runs through the Everlasting TFs folks. All of the raid leaders there as far as I’m aware have no issues with really any archetype as long as they can pay attention to instructions.
  16. I don’t know what server you play on but on Everlasting I’ve never seen that, I’ve been on many of Shadeknight’s runs and others that had MMs.
  17. Well, is the harder content being forced on anyone? I don’t recall a game-wide increase in difficulty for everything; just optional challenges you can set for certain specific content. To clarify, I was talking about the handful of folks here that seemingly exist to whine about every change/update this server has seen since 2019. If you aren’t one of those folks, good news, I’m not referring to you in that previous post lol. For those that do fall in that category well I suppose the thumbs down reacts speak for themselves.
  18. I literally only play a human form PB which is about as mid as you can get and I do perfectly fine.
  19. A lot of people did, particularly ones that have been playing the game since 2004 where all they had to do with their fully tricked out characters was running the same piss easy story arcs. it seems like here lately people are coming on this forum just to bitch and moan about every little change and it is exhausting. Harder content is optional, whether you like it or not, going after badges and getting extra rewards is all optional. It’s there for the players that want to take advantage of their maxed out characters and want something a little bit harder. I think that is great that we finally have that in this game.
  20. Good news, all of the harder content is entirely OPTIONAL.
  21. If I recall correctly, it took a teamwipe or two to understand the new optional 'Master of' difficulty. Non-Master runs were always pretty easy so it's refreshing to have some harder content you can't just blitz through with Incarnate abilities. Obviously getting new 'Master' badges is a plus too.
  22. I can't speak for anyone else, but as someone that played on live between 2007 and 2012, I don't wish that evil on anyone. We really do have things pretty damn good here specifically just from a QoL standpoint.
